Mike Johnson is reporting that TNA star Kurt Angle was upset with TNA creative during TNA's tour of the UK this past week. Angle has been dealing with a knee injury as of late, but Angle pushed back surgery scheduled for the end of January to work the UK tour due to Sting's departure from the company and Jeff Hardy's inability to travel to the UK.
During the Impact Wrestling taping in Glasgow, an angle was shot to write Angle off of TV where he was beaten with steel chairs. However the next day for the Impact Wrestling taping in Manchester, TNA creative informed Angle he was scheduled to do a run-in. Angle blew up on TNA staff member John Gaburick because he had already been written off TV and was working despite doctor's orders to not do anything physical before his upcoming knee surgery. Angle eventually did not work the taping in Manchester.
However, on the Impact Wrestling taping in London the following day, Angle got into a physical confrontation with Ethan Carter III after accepting his TNA Hall of Fame induction to set up a match between Angle and Carter for the Lockdown PPV on 3/9 in Miami, so it appears that Angle will work through Lockdown before finally getting surgery on his knee.
