Update on CM Punk's Status With the WWE

Discussion at weekend WWE live events was that CM Punk may have already been granted his release from WWE as of Friday according to a report by Dave Scherer. We should stress that WWE has not released an official statement about Punk and he remains listed as part of the "Superstars" section of the website. This same report indicated that those who have spoken to Punk claim he has told them that he is "done" with the company.

Opinionated View- Well we will see if this is true. I would assume there is still some type of no compete clause in place ilk the can't appear on anything until his contract would have expired.
