Opinionated View- Awful looking card. Main event means jack shit. Jay Briscoe is the worse world champion I have ever seen its a disgrace ROH has made him there top guy. Jay Lethal has done noting since turning heel and winning back the TV title. The number 1 contenders match is a fucking joke. Elgin has been lost with no real direction since losing the world title. Moose is way to green to be on PPV much less in this spot and now they fucked up the booking by having him loose and Strong is boring he's at best a mid card guys. Always has been always will be.

The tag title match had potential and the talent is there but ROH has fucked up the Addiction since day one. Last year Kaz and Daniels debut and right away start a feud with reDragon and right away the job out. Than they spend months doing nothing at all. Finally they do the KRD thing, turn heel and win the belts. But no follow up. No promo on TV explaining why they did it. Hell reDragaon pretty much acted like nothing happened the next few weeks.. The six man should be good but I just know the internet will over hype it and claim it was six starts because its ROH and New Japan. But the truth is AJ and the Bucks will be phone it in like they always do in ROH.

I hope Sydal and Page are the ones that do most of the work. But I doubt it we got boring ACH and washed up Whitmer. Yet ROH keeps trying to push ACH as the next big thing and trying to turn Whitmer into a top heel. Dijak has potential but still needs some work and all working with Mark Briscoe will do is damage him. Mark is awful and is among the worse wrestlers I have sever seen. Young is a great worker but hasn't done much since returning from injury and Castle can't work so instead he uses an insulting out of date gimmick to cover it. I know the kind of match we are getting. Dalton "plays mind games" and Young freaks out.

Finally we come to War Machine an awful tag team that ROH keeps pushing non stop. Oh but it gets worse we got the very boring Coleman and Alexander. Now I like Cedric Alexander think he's been really wasted but I can see where this is going. Alexander just did something heelish on TV odds are he tries to cheat Coleman stops him than Alexander attack Caprice leading to a feud.

Opinionated View- AWFUL Card! Briscoe is the worse world champion in wrestling today and there is a good chance he will go down as the worse ever. Lethal has had no direction I can't recall a single feud he's had as TV champion. As a result neither title matters enough for a champion vs. champion match. #1 contenders match is ever worse. Strong is way to damn boring and generic to be in a main event despite ROH always trying to book him as a top guy. Moose is way to green to the point I think he should still be working dark matches. And Elgin has had no direction since losing the title. On top of that the three haven't appeared on TV together.

The six man could be good. But I can so see the net over hyping it. Story line wise it doesn't makes sense given the Kingdom is feuding with Anderson and Gallows. Mark Briscoe is among the ten worse wrestlers I have ever seen. He's a spot monkey that can't wrestle and blows almost every spot. The tag title match could have been good. But ROH blow building to the match by not following up on heel turn and title change.

The Six Man should be good but I'm sure the net will over rate it. Don't care about the decade and don't care about ACH

Two Matches Confirmed For The ROH Best in The World PPV

Opinionated View- WHAT THE FUCK? What a joke of number 1 contenders match. Elgin been directionless for nearly a year now they keep hinting at some idea of him wanting to take down ROH problem he's done nothing about it. And we have seen the trying take down ROH story done to death.

Moose? Great move ROH push the green guy with limited in ring skill and even more limits in terms of connecting with the fans who seems to be leaving for Jarrett. And finally Strong the boring champion of the world. Give me a break ROH.

Main event is a joke. The title vs. title feud isn't hot enough right now. Briscoe sucks and Lethal is cold.

The Early PPV Estimates For ROH's Best in the World Are In

The early estimates for ROH's June PPV debut, Best in the World, are at approximately 10,000 buys. This is the number that the company said they would need to break even back when the PPV was announced in May. The number is being seen as a success considering the fact they only had a few weeks of promotion. 

Sinclair Broadcasting, the parent company of ROH, said the PPV was an "exploration" into the market. The deal they signed will require two PPVs this year, including Best in the World and Final Battle in December. There is a possibility for more in 2015, depending on how these two PPVs do. 

Opinionated View- Well first I would question that number given how much the IWC loves ROH I could see them bumping up that number. Second that doesn't change the fact it was a very boring show.

Off-Air Notes From ROH Best in the World

The Nashville Fairgrounds is said to have a healthy crowd tonight. We've heard from a lot of fans that used to frequent the old TNA days that they were going to the show.

Former ROH champion Jerry Lynn is backstage. He lives in Nashville and it's the first wrestling show he's attended since retiring last year. Lynn has cut off the trademark long hair that he's had since the late 1980s as well.

ROH announced a 1/3/15 return to the Nashville Fairgrounds.

Before ROH went on the air, they taped several matches for upcoming ROH in Sinclair TV:

Big upgrades to ROH's production with a big new video wall and new camera shots. Crowd chants for Ciampa before the bell. ACH & Ciampa start. Ciampa with a shoulder tackle. ACH with one of his own. ACH shows off his agility, roll-up for a nearfall. Ciampa goes for the Sicilian Stretch, ACH counters out for a nearfall. Series of evasions, stalemate. Watanabe goes after both men. ACH with a series of chops, Watanabe with a running knee, ACH with a dropkick. Coleman comes in, he & ACH shake hands. TD tags Coleman out. Taven is sporting new, shorter tights. Seleziya joined the House of Truth at the "Road to Best in the World" shows a couple weeks ago. Martini is relcutant about being handcuffed before the bell, but eventually does so. No Code of Honor here. Taven tries to go after Martini, but Lethal stops him. Taven with a series of chops early. Series of reversals, then Taven with a dropkick for a nearfall. Taven runs into an elbow, then Lethal stops him again from going after Martini. Taven avoids a 2nd rope crossbody, standing moonsault for a nearfall. Taven with an enziguri from the apron, then Seleziya distracts Taven, allowing Lethal to hit a dropkick, sending Taven to the outside. Lethal unloads with right hands from the mount on Taven. Lethal rakes Taven's eyes. Back in, Lethal gains a nearfall. Taven runs into a back elbow, then Lethal with chops in the corner. Taven comes back with a Blue Thunder Bomb for a nearfall. Seleziya stops Taven from getting to Martini, allowing Lethal to nail Taven with a baseball slide. Back in, Lethal gains a nearfall. Chinlock applied. Lethal with an elbow to the head, gains another nearfall. Chinlock re-applied, crowd wills on Taven. Taven fights out, then they exchange strikes, Taven with a savate kick to the ribs and a spin kick. Taven with 2 clotheslines and an enziguri. Draping suplex-style neckbreaker by Taven for a nearfall. Lethal counters the Climax, roll-up for a nearfall. Lethal hits the Lethal Combination. Lethal heads up top and hits Hail to the Champ, but Taven kicks out! Lethal calls for the Lethal Injection, but Taven blocks it. Taven with a back handspring into a roundhouse kick. Brainbuster by Taven for a nearfall. Lethal rolls outside and Taven goes after him. Lethal drives Taven into the barricade and heads back in. Lethal with a head of steam, but Taven catches him in mid-dive with another roundhouse! Taven then takes a page from Lethal's playbook by doing a trifecta of tope suicidas, with the third one wiping out Seleziya as well! Taven points at Martini & grabs a chair. Taven goes over to Martini, but Martini gives money to the ROH Head of Security, J. Diesel, who stands in Taven's way. Diesel blocks a chairshot and gets in Taven's face. Diesel blocks a superkick and hits a big right hand! Taven then wipes him out with a superkick! Seleziya breaks the handcuffs and Martini heads to the back! Taven heads up top and goes for Air Taven, but Lethal gets the knees up!

Strong slips out of a suplex, but runs into a back elbow. Strong then with a knee to the ribs and a double sledge. Big chop by Strong. Cedric fights back, but Strong stomps away at him in the corner. Cedric with a big right hand and a chop. Strong with a series of chops, but Cedric clotheslines him to the outside. Cedric with a head of steam and wipes out Strong with the Heat Seeking Missile! Cedric with right hands to Strong on the outside. Strong sent off the apron. Series of chops by Cedric, but then Strong BACKDROPS CEDRIC ON THE APRON!!!

Strong taunts Cedric and brings him back in. Strong takes control on Cedric and taunts the crowd. Big chops in the corner by Strong, followed by a back suplex. Strong talks trash, but Cedric fights back. Strong yells "C'mon, boy!" at Cedric. Camel Clutch applied by Strong. Cedric counters out with a jawbreaker. Strong comes back with a dropkick. Strong with more stomps, but Cedric SPITS AT HIM! Strong unloads with shots, but Cedric catches him and hits Kick 2 Kill: Part 2!

Cedric with a series of right hands & headbutts to Strong. Cedric knocks Strong off the apron with a running dropkick. Decade tend to Strong, but then Cedric wipes them all out with a flip dive! Strong got out of the way, but Cedric with a big chop. Cedric then springs off the barricade with the 540 Kick! Back in, Cedric with a slingshot DDT into a front guillotine choke, shades of Jimmy Jacobs. Strong gets to the ropes. Strong comes back with an enziguri, but Cedric with a windmill kick. Cedric hits Concussion on Delivery in the corner. Another Concussion on Delivery, then a running forearm. Air Raid Crash into a Facebuster, then Cedric applies a Dragon Sleeper. Strong fights out with a series of knees to the head. Strong places Cedric up top and hits an enziguri. Big chops, then Strong goes up top with Cedric. Top Rope Superplex by Strong. Strong with a running knee and a running forearm in the corner. Cedric spits at him, so Strong with another running forearm. Strong goes for Death by Roderick, but Cedric counters it back into the front guilliotine choke, Strong gets to the ropes. Strong backdrops Cedric to the outside, then wipes him out with a flying knee off the apron! Back in, Strong with a backbreaker. Strong goes for the Strong Hold, but Cedric kicks him off. Strong with a boot to the head, then heads up top. Strong brings Cedric up top with him and goes for a Super Gibson Driver, but Cedric blocks it. Cedric then BACKBREAKERS STRONG ACROSS THE TURNBUCKLES!! LUMBAR CHECK!!!

Hardy comes out with TV actor Nick Searcy from the TV show "Justified." LOUD "Man Up" chants for the Briscoes. No Code of Honor here as well. Mark & Bennett start. Mark with a series of gut shots and right hands to Bennett in the corner. Clothesline, Jay tags in. Jay stomps away at Bennett in the corner. Jay goes after Hardy, who drops down to the outside. Jay with an uppercut and a headbutt to Bennett. Mark in, avalanche to Bennett in the corner. Right hands and stomps by Mark to Bennett in the corner. Mark charges in, but Bennett catches him with a dropkick.

Hardy in, elbow off the middle rope to Mark's arm. Hardy works over Mark's arm. Bennett in and he & Hardy drive Mark into the corner. Double knockdown for a nearfall. Hardy in and they drive Mark into the corner again. Double suplex for a nearfall. Hardy with a series of back clubs, but Mark counters a backdrop, Jay tags in. Jay with a Thesz Press and right hands to Hardy. Bennett knocked off the apron, Hardy sent to the outside. Springboard dropkick by Mark to Bennett. Jay sends Hardy into the barricade. Searcy gets involved, allowing Hardy to nail Jay from behind and send him into the barricade. Jay with a corner clothesline, Mark with Redneck Kung Fu to Hardy. Jay goes for the Jay Driller, but Bennett nails Jay with the I.C.O.N.I.C. World Title, ref calls for the bell. 

Crowd chants "BS" at this. Jay grabs the mic and says they hear him and that is some "BS." Nigel McGuinness, give these people what they wanna see. Nigel comes out and says the match is restarted under No DQ Rules. Briscoes go after Hardy & Bennett on the outside. Chairs are brought in and Mark drop toe holds Bennett into the chair! Jay works over Hardy on the outside. Mark sends Bennett into a wedged chair in the corner. Mark then back suplexes Bennett onto a chair! Chairshot to the back as the crowd chants that they want tables. Jay pulls out a table, then Maria grabs a chair from Mark, allowing Bennett to throw a chair at Mark's head! Bennett with a chairshot to the ribs, then another thrown chair at Mark's head! Nigel joins commentary. Hardy pulls out a ladder from under the ring and nails Jay with it! Hardy gets the ladder in the ring as Mark with right hands to Bennett. Maria goes to commentary and asks them "how do they like her kingdom?" Hardy sends Jay into the ladder in the corner, then places the ladder across the middle rope. Bennett with the Box Office Smash to Mark on the outside! Hardy goes for the Twist of Fate, but Jay counters with a Death Valley Driver onto 2 chairs! Jay then SUPLEXES HARDY ONTO THE LADDER! Bennett & Mark fight up to the top. Mark knocks Bennett off, then comes off the apron with an elbow drop to Hardy! Bennett & Mark go to the apron and Bennett hits Mark with the Spear! Bennett goes for the apron piledriver on Mark, but Jay stops him! DOOMSDAY DEVICE BY THE BRISCOES ON BENNETT ON THE OUTSIDE!! Back in, Matt nails Jay with the Peabody Award of Searcy's! Roll-up by Hardy for a nearfall. Searcy comes in, but Mark blocks his path. Jay comes up from behind and knocks down Searcy. FROGGY BOW BY MARK TO SEARCY!! Briscoes call for the Doomsday Device, but Maria knocks Mark off the ropes. TWIST OF FATE BY HARDY TO JAY!! JAY KICKS OUT!! Hardy with chairshots to the back of Jay. Bennett sets up a table. Hardy sets up the ladder. Mark stops a double team and sends Bennett to the outside. Mark places Bennett on an outside table. Mark heads up top, FROGGY BOW THROUGH THE TABLE ON BENNETT! Hardy places Jay on the table in the ring. Hardy climbs up the ladder, but Mark stops him and nails him in the eyes with a fire extingusher! Jay climbs up the ladder with Hardy. SUPERPLEX OFF THE LADDER THROUGH THE TABLE!!

We see video from the 6/7 ROH live event in Collinsville when Adam Cole tied up Michael Elgin, cut off his mullet, then when Elgin's wife, MsChif, tried to stop him, Cole put her in the Figure Four. 

Larry Mercer & Mandy Leon introduce the latest ROH signee, Moose, who is a former NFL player. Moose says he is here to enjoy the show. In my time in the NFL, I've accomplished a lot, but I don't deserve anything here and I am fine working up from the bottom. Veda Scott & Ramon interupt Leon and brings up RD Evans's #NewStreak at 122-0. Veda says that RD isn't here tonight, he is in Osaka, Japan collecting more wins. Veda offers her services to Moose. Moose says that we can talk about this later, he is just here enjoying the show. Veda & Ramon walk off.

"The Last Real Man" Silas Young vs. "Mr. Wrestling" Kevin Steen

BIG reaction for Steen. Steen extends his hand, but Silas refuses to shake it. Steen nails Silas from behind, but Silas avoids the Cannonball and goes to the outside. Steen then wipes out Silas with a rolling senton off the apron! Steen sends Silas HARD into the barricade! Silas sent again into the barricade. Back in, Silas comes back with forearms. "OLE" chants for Steen. Steen with a shoulder tackle. Steen with a series of chops that sends Silas to the outside. Silas blocks the apron powerbomb and kicks Steen into the barricade!

Silas slams Steen's head into the floor on the outside repeatedly. Back in, Silas stomps away at Steen in the corner. Silas sends Steen into the corner HARD, followed by a Northern Lariat for a nearfall. Silas taunts the crowd, then applies a chinlock. Steen fights back, but Silas slams him back down. Head and Arm Lock applied, crowd wills on Steen. Steen fights out with forearms, but Silas slips out of the F-Cinq. Neckbreaker by Silas for a nearfall. Series of elbow drops by Silas for a nearfall. Crowd gets on Silas. Steen fights back with chops, then slips out of a neckbreaker and hits the Pop-Up Powerbomb. 

Crowd chants for Steen. Strike exchange, Steen gains advantage. Silas sidesteps a backdrop attempt, but Steen with a running boot while Silas was on the apron. Draping DDT by Steen for a nearfall. Silas lands on his feet out of the corner, then sends Steen into the corner. Roll-up while hooking the tights by Silas for a nearfall. Steen blocks an Irish whip, then they exchange strikes again. Steen catches a kick, pumphandle neckbreaker for a nearfall. Steen goes for the Package Piledriver, but Silas drives him into the corner. Silas runs into a boot, then counters another Package Piledriver by crotching Steen on the ropes. Silas springs off the middle rope and clotheslines Steen off the ropes for a nearfall. Steen slips out of the Finlay Roll and facebusters Silas into the top turnbuckle! Steen charges and hits the Cannonball! Steen heads up top, Steenton Bomb for a nearfall. Silas rolls out onto the apron and hot-shots Steen, followed by a running boot. Finlay Roll, but Steen avoids the Pee Gee Waja Plunge. Silas hits the Killer Combo for a nearfall. Silas is starting to get frustrated. Silas talks trash, but Steen with a right hand. Silas unloads with knees to the head of Steen in the corner. Silas places Steen up top and goes up with him. Silas again talks trash, but Steen with a headbutt. Super Fisherman's Buster by Steen!

Steen calls for the end, PACKAGE PILEDRIVER! 1-2-3!

Steen grabs a mic afterward. Crowd chants "Thank You Steen." Steen says to Silas that he said a lot of things about him. A coward, a quitter, but you can't say that I didn't beat you. I've said a lot of things about you, a jerk, bitter, an a**hole. But after tonight, I can't say you aren't an exceptional pro wrestler. I have a lot of respect for you and what you do. You came out and interrupted me to make a name for yourself and go after the top guy and I am the top guy! Before you interrupted me, I was gonna step away because my ROH contract is nearly up. And as much I will love the last few matches I will have in ROH, I am happy I got to wrestle you before I go. And I hope that after the match we just had, you are the man you say you are and shake my hand. Silas shakes Steen's hand and leaves. "Please don't go" chants by the crowd for Steen. Steen points out the thank you signs by the crowd, but then Silas chopblocks Steen from behind. Silas assaults Steen and multiple referees pull him off.

Ring of Honor Tag Team Titles: Bad Influence ("The Fallen Angel" Christopher Daniels & Kazarian) vs. reDRagon (Bobby Fish & Kyle O'Reilly) (c's)

Good reaction for Daniels & Kazarian. reDRagon come out again with a sponsor flag. Code of Honor before the bell. Daniels & O'Reilly start. Chain wrestling early. O'Reilly with an uppercut. Daniels slips of a back suplex, O'Reilly with a knee to the ribs and a running.....slap. O'Reilly with a shoulder tackle, but Daniels with a right hand and a leg lariat. Kazarian in, kick/Northern Lariat combo by Bad Influence. Elbow drop by Kazarian, Fish breaks up the pin. Fish in, but Kazarian with a series of armdrags into an armbar. Fish goes for a shoulder on the apron, but Kazarian with a legdrop for a nearfall. Daniels in, shoulder tackle on Fish. Slingshot legdrop by Kazarian. O'Reilly in, double slam by Bad Influence. Stereo moonsaults by Bad Influence on Fish. Slingshot elbow drop by Daniels, Slingshot legdrop by Kazarian for a nearfall. O'Reilly in, but Daniels with a front chancery. O'Reilly avoids a charge and Kazarian goes shoulder-first into the ringpost!

Fish sends Kazarian shoulder-first into the ringpost on the outside. Hammerlock drive by O'Reilly. Fish in, but Kazarian fights back. Fish with a series of kicks, flying forearm for a nearfall. Fish drops his body weight across the arm of Kazarian. Daniels knocked off the apron. Kazarian fights back, but Fish takes him down. Fujiwara armbar applied by O'Reilly, Daniels breaks it up. Armbar applied by O'Reilly. Fish draws the ref to Daniels, allowing reDRagon to work over Kazarian. Kazarian fights back, but Fish sweeps out Kazarian's leg with a kick on the outside. Kazarian knocks down Fish, but when Kazarian gets back in, O'Reilly with a front guillotine choke. Kazarian gets out, but Fish pulls Daniels off the apron before Kazarian can make a tag. Fish in, knees to the ribs and a chest kick for a nearfall. Back suplex for a nearfall. Keylock applied, crowd wills on Kazarian. Kazarian fights out, avoids a head kick and hits a Slingblade. 

Daniels & O'Reilly in. Daniels makes a comeback. Daniels with an STO and a through the ropes dropkick on Fish. Daniels heads up top, crossbody on O'Reilly for a nearfall. Rapid-fire strikes on the corner on O'Reilly. Daniels catches O'Reilly off the ropes, standing urnangi. O'Reilly avoids the BME, running forearm and chest kicks by reDRagon. Tilt-a-whirl backbreaker/2nd rope knee drop combo by reDRagon for a nearfall. Fish in, Daniels sends O'Reilly to the outside. Curb Stomp off the 2nd rope to Fish. Daniels with a head of steam, wipes out O'Reilly with a tope suicida. Daniels slingshots Fish in to an Ace Crusher by Kazarian for a nearfall. Fish avoids the BME, hits a Samoan Drop. Daniels avoids a Moonsault, but Fish wipes him out with a slingshot plancha! Kazarian with a slingshot DDT on Fish. Series of strikes by O'Reilly to Kazarian, ending with a leg sweep. Daniels & Fish exchange strikes. Daniels gains advantage, but Fish with a spinning back kick. Daniels hits the Angels' Wings on Fish, O'Reilly breaks up the pin. O'Reilly in, but Daniels with a Dragon Screw. Kazarian in, Cactus Clothesline sends he & O'Reilly to the outside. O'Reilly avoids a Daniels' Arabian Press, Fish drives Daniels into the barricade. O'Reilly then wipes out Daniels with the running apron dropkick! Back in, Kazarian goes up with O'Reilly, FLUX CAPACITOR, but Kazarian clutches his injured arm. Elgin is now sporting a buzz cut. Multiple referees are out there due to what happened with Cole & Elgin in Collinsville. Code of Honor before the bell. Cole taunts Elgin as the bell sounds. Elgin takes him down and unloads with right hands. Cole tries to get away, but Elgin with more right hands. Elgin with a series of forearms and stomps to Cole in the corner. Cole whipped HARD into the corner. Cole plays cat & mouse with Elgin, then Cole sends Elgin to the outside and taunts the crowd with an "ADAM COLE BAYBAY!" Elgin sidesteps a Cole plancha, causing Cole to crash and burn. Cole sends Elgin into the barricade, then grabs a chair. Elgin blocks a chairshot and hits a big right hand. Elgin lifts up Cole, RUNNING POWERSLAM ONTO THE RAMPWAY! Back in, Cole blocks a clothesline and hits a leaping neckbreaker. Cole heads up top, but Elgin stops him. Elgin with a big chop, then heads up with Cole. Cole blocks a superplex, but Elgin blocks a Sunset Bomb. Elgin fights Cole off, but Cole sweeps out Elgin's leg and backbreakers him on the way down. Cole is getting frustrated. Cole goes to the middle rope and calls for the Panama Sunrise. Elgin avoids it, but Cole knocks him down. Cole goes for a superkick, but Elgin ducks and COLE WIPES OUT THE REF!! Buckle Bomb, Elgin Bomb by Elgin, but the ref is OUT!! Matt Hardy & Michael Bennett with Maria run out and Hardy & Bennett attack Elgin. Elgin slips out of the Twist of Fate, then grabs both Hardy & Bennett and hits a Samoan Drop/Fallaway Slam combo on them, sending them both to the outside. Elgin catches a Cole superkick, but Cole with a backdrop to counter the Buckle Bomb. Elgin with a Northern Lariat, then POWERBOMBS COLE ONTO HARDY & BENNETT ON THE OUTSIDE!! Maria distracts Elgin, but Elgin can't hit her. Maria slaps Elgin and drops down to the outside. Elgin goes out after her, but right into Bennett. Elgin catches Cole off the apron, but Hardy nails Elgin with the I.C.O.N.I.C. World Title belt! Cole GERMANS ELGIN ON THE OUTSIDE! War Machine run out and chase Bennett & Hardy to the back. Cole revives the ref in the ring and the ref begins his 20 count. Elgin gets to his feet, but drops down. Elgin then JUST BARELY gets back by the ref's 20 count. Cole can't believe it! Maria throws the ROH World Title belt in the ring and distracts the ref. MsChif runs out, GREEN MIST TO THE FACE OF MARIA!! Elgin with a spinning backfist, dropping the title belt from Cole's hands! Buckle Bomb, ELGIN BOMB!! COLE KICKS OUT!! ELGIN CAN'T BELIEVE IT! Fans can't believe it as they threw in streamers too soon! "We f'd up" chants by the crowd. Elgin places Cole up top and goes up with him. Cole rakes Elgin's eyes and knocks him off. Missile dropkick to the knee to the leg of Elgin. Cole goes outside and slams Elgin's leg into the ringpost, then applies the ringpost Figure Four! Back in, Cole goes for the Figure Four, but Elgin with an inside cradle for a nearfall. Elgin locks back in the Crossface, but Cole gets to the ropes. Cole goes to the middle rope, PANAMA SUNRISE!!! ELGIN KICKS OUT AGAIN!! Cole goes to the middle rope and goes for a 2nd Panama Sunrise, yelling "I'll break you!" Elgin rolls through, then hits 2 Deadlift Powerbombs!

Updates to ROH Best in the World Card

Ring of Honor has announced that Frankie Kazarian will appear with Christopher Daniels at the Best in the World pay-per-view event on June 22 in Nashville. The duo will challenge Bobby Fish and Kyle O'Reilly for the ROH Tag Titles.

Kevin Steen vs. Silas Young has been added to the ROH Best in the World card. Read the official announcement atRohwrestling.com.

Opinionated View- Just shows how dead ROH tag division is that they don't have a team on the roster already to challenge for the tag belts. Yes Bad Influence is great team but a huge problem ROH has is lack of build on there TV show. Same goes with Steen vs Young should be a good match but they shot one angle for it.

Opinionated View- Weak card. I like Cole and Elgin but the build has been awful and poor booking has really hurt this. Dem Monkey's vs Fat Hardy and the guy with potential who is the second fiddle to his girlfriend. I like Daniels but just having him show up isn't going to be enough to get me to buy a PPV. Young vs Steen should be good but there is no time to build it.

Main Event Set For ROH Best in the World

Adam Cole will defend the ROH Title against Michael Elgin at ROH Best in the World. The show takes place on June 22nd in Nashville, Tennessee.

Opinionated View- I like both guys and they are great talents. But they have been blocked really poorly. Elgin suffered front the old ROH problem of they have a guy everyone wants to see win the world title. But they draw out the win and book him poorly killing that momentum and having the fans turns on him. Cole instead of being the dominate heel champion has been set up as a lackey to Hardy and Maria. At least with Magnus and Dixie you got the feeling Magnus was his own man.

ROH Best in the World 2013 Report

Tonight’s iPPV starts with footage of Jay Briscoe defeating Kevin Steen to become the new Ring of Honor World Champion at Supercard of Honor. Then we go to Mark Briscoe confronting his brother in the ring to set up their match tonight.

Your announcers are Kevin Kelly and Steve Corino.

Steve and Kevin discuss the card with a focus on the title matches and the Kevin Steen/Matt Hardy match.

Match Number One: BJ Whitmer versus Mike Bennett (with Maria Kanellis and Brutal Bob Evans)

Due to some buffering issues, the action starts off on the floor and Bennett with a clothesline off the apron to Whitmer. Bennett sends Whitmer back into the ring and while we look at Maria, Bennett apparently sends Whitmer into the turnbuckles. Bennett misses a splash into the corner when Whitmer moves. Whitmer with chops to Bennett as they go around the ring.

Whitmer with a back breaker and he gets a near fall. Whitmer with an Irish whip and Evans distracts Whitmer before a charge into the corner and somehow Bennett has a rear chin lock on Whitmer due to buffering from the feed.

Whitmer with an elbow but Bennett with a knee to the midsection and Bennett struts and hits a diving head butts to the midsection. Bennett with chops and punches in the corner. Bennett with a suplex and he gets a near fall. Bennett with a rear chin lock and the arm is trapped. Whitmer with punches to Bennett’s midsection but Bennett with a drop kick for a near fall.

Bennett punches Whitmer while Maria gives some thoughts on the match at the announce table. Whitmer has had enough of the punches and he punches Bennett. Bennett with a knee to the midsection but Whitmer with clotheslines. Bennett with a power slam after ducking a clothesline. Whitmer is ready for the running knee and a suplex. Whitmer rolls through and he hits a Northern Lights suplex for a near fall.

After some more buffering Bob Evans tries to interfere but he is sent to the floor. Whitmer hits an Exploder for the three count.

Winner: BJ Whitmer

After the match, Maria yells at Bob and blames him for Mike’s loss. Mike joins in the verbal barrage on Bob.

Match Number Two: The American Wolves (Davey Richards and Eddie Edwards) versus Adrenaline RUSH (ACH and Tadarius Thomas)

Richards starts off the match with ACH and they have a Greco Roman knuckle lock. ACH rolls through and he applies a wrist lock. Davey with a cartwheel. ACH with a head scissor and Davey escapes. They both attempt kicks and the block each other. They say they will let go at three, but they both lie. The second time, they are men of honor.

Richards with a back heel kick to ACH. Richards sends ACH into Eddie’s head and then Eddie is tagged in. Eddie chops ACH and then he gives ACH a head butt. Eddie tries to send ACH into Davey’s head but ACH tries for a rollup. Eddie sends ACH into Davey’s head and then Davey tags back in and he sends ACH into the corners.

ACH with a float over and then he hits a springboard back elbow from the other corner and he gets a near fall. ACH with a head scissors and Thomas tags in. Thomas with a baseball slide to Richards while ACH continues with the figure four head scissors.

Thomas gets a near fall and then he attacks Edwards. Thomas gets tripped by Edwards after a blind tag from Richards and Richards hits a diving head butt from the top for a near fall. Richards with an Indian Death Lock. ACH kicks Richards and Edwards tags in. Edwards with a slam and kick to the back.

Edwards sends Thomas into the turnbuckles and Richards tags in. Richards and Edwards exchange kicks and chops and then Edwards knocks ACH off the apron. Davey gives a modified Chong Li. Richards with a version of the Haas of Pain on Thomas. ACH is kept out of the ring by the referee and Eddie adds extra pressure with a chin lock and Corino teases dissension.

Richards with a waist lock and a series of standing switches. Thomas lands on his feet on a German suplex and he hits an enzuigiri and both men are down. ACH tags through the buffering and so does Edwards.

Richards goes after ACH and then we buffer as ACH gets a near fall on Edwards.

We move ahead and Thomas misses a charge into the corner. Eddie takes care of ACH and then he hits a super kick on ACH. The Wolves hit the Alarm Clock and then Edwards with a kick and then Richards with a German suplex and bridge. Edwards with a jackknife cover for a near fall. Richards kicks ACH in the corner and the referee warns him. Richards with more kicks in the corner and it causes more buffering.

Richards puts ACH on the turnbuckles and ACH fights him off with head butts and then it sends Richards to the mat. Edwards with an enzuigiri but Thomas picks up Edwards. Thomas with a near fall. Richards with a kick to Thomas and then he hits a running forearm into the corner.

Richards with a round kick to the head after some more buffering.

With more buffering the action goes to the floor. ACH with the flip dive onto

After a lot more buffering the American Wolves somehow win the match. Richards gets his knees up on a 450 splash by ACH and Richards with an inside cradle for the three count.

Winners: American Wolves

We have a video package for the Adam Cole/Roderick Strong match.

Match Number Three: Roderick Strong versus Adam Cole

After refreshing, the match is joined with a Greco Roman Knuckle Lock. Strong with a series of near falls but Cole with a bridge. Strong with work on the injured left arm. We have some more buffering issues and Strong tries for the Strong Hold but Cole escapes. Strong puts Cole in the Tree of Woe and Strong with a running knee to the midsection.

Strong with a forearm to the back followed by a chop. Cole with a kick but Strong with a chop. Strong with an elbow to the back of the head and then he connects with a forearm across the nose. Strong stretches Cole on his back in a modified Gory Special. Strong with a rollup for a near fall.

Cole catches Strong when he floats over on an Irish whip and Cole with a Death Valley neck breaker and he gets a near fall. Cole with a snap suplex and float over for a near fall. Cole with a reverse chin lock.

We have some more buffering but Strong with chops. Cole sends Strong to the floor but Strong grabs Cole from the apron. Cole with an enzuigiri and it buffers so we miss the alleged suicide dive onto Strong.

Cole sends Strong back into the ring and Cole is now up top but Strong with a forearm to stop him. Strong climbs the turnbuckles for a superplex but Cole with forearms and Strong falls to the mat. Cole goes for a cross body but Strong with a drop kick and both men are down.

Strong with chops to Cole but Cole with an Irish whip. Strong with a running forearm after he avoids a Cole charge into the corner. Strong with an Irish whip and running knee followed by a bulldog. Cole with a forearm but Strong with a knee and then he picks up Cole for a suplex but instead he tosses Cole onto the top rope and Strong gets a near fall.

Strong sets for a uranage back breakerbut Cole avoids it. After a series of standing switches, Cole with an enzuigiri followed by a Shining Wizard for a near fall. Strong avoids a Shining Wizard and Cole and Strong alternate near falls.

Cole with a figure four leg lock but Strong gets to the ropes.

We buffer some more and Strong with the Strong Hold. Cole with a super kick followed by a shoulder breaker out of a brainbuster set up and he gets a near fall. Strong goes to the apron and Cole tries to suplex him back into the ring. Strong brings Cole to the apron and they exchange forearms.

Strong with a series of chops but Cole with a super kick and Strong falls through the table. Cole picks up Strong and tries to bring Strong back into the ring but the referee gets to fourteen and Cole figures it is easier to win by count out than give Strong the chance to recover.

The referee gets to twenty and calls for the bell.

Winner: Adam Cole

Veda Scott is at ringside and so is RD Evans. Veda leaves while RD Evans joins Kevin Kelly at the announce table since Steve Corino had to talk to Adam Cole about the way he won.

We have a video package for Tommaso Ciampa.

Match Number Four: Michael Elgin versus Tommaso Ciampa

Ciampa with a take down but he misses a kick and we buffer. Elgin goes for the power bomb but Ciampa escapes. Elgin wants a test of strength and we get it. Elgin gets the early advantage but Ciampa is not a weakling and he gets back to his feet. Elgin regains control and they try to jockey for position in the center of the ring and they exchange head butts.

Elgin with the cranial advantage and he goes for a delayed vertical suplex but Ciampa gets back to the mat and Ciampa with a delayed vertical suplex of his own and he brings Elgin back to the mat.

Ciampa pulls the knee pad down but Elgin gets up and he hits the spinning Bossman slam and then he applies the Crippler Crossface. Ciampa with a rollup for a near fall. After some buffering Ciampa is down and against the ropes. Elgin gets a near fall after apparently working on the knees.

Elgin tries for a suplex but Ciampa blocks it. Elgin with forearms and then he gets Ciampa up for his delayed vertical suplex and he brings Ciampa back to Earth and he gets a near fall. Elgin tries for a Saito Suplex but Ciampa with elbows to the head. Elgin with a forearm but Ciampa gets Elgin on his shoulders.

Elgin with a punch. Each man tries for a clothesline but neither man goes down. They do it a few more times. Ciampa charges at Elgin and Michael sends him over the top rope to the floor. Elgin also goes to the floor. They exchange forearms on the floor as the referee starts his count.

Ciampa runs Elgin into the guardrails and then we buffer some more. They are back in the ring and then Elgin is sent to the floor. Elgin with a forearm to stop a suicide dive and then Elgin picks Ciampa from the ropes into a dead lift suplex on the exposed floor.

Ciampa gestures to Elgin and Elgin goes to the floor for a running power bomb into the guardrails. Elgin rolls Ciampa back into the ring and Elgin goes up top for a corkscrew senton splash but Ciampa kicks out. Elgin with a buckle bomb and then Ciampa hits the Air Raid Crash for a near fall.

Ciampa with forearms and kicks to Elgin. Ciampa pulls down the knee pad again and then after buffering Elgin and Ciampa are down. Ciampa slaps Elgin but Elgin backs Ciampa into the turnbuckles. Elgin misses a splash into the corner and then Ciampa goes for the running knee into the corner but Elgin catches him and hits a uranage.

Elgin signals that it is over and he hits a Hellevator for a near fall. Elgin goes for the gorilla superplex but Ciampa blocks it. Elgin with a back fist and then he picks up Ciampa but Ciampa lands on his feet and Ciampa with Project Ciampa but Elgin gets his foot on the rope to stop the count.

Elgin falls to the apron and Ciampa follows. Ciampa gets Elgin up for an Air Raid Crash and he hits it on the apron. We buffer and return to the ring and Elgin drops to his knee to block Project Ciampa. Elgin with a back drop but Ciampa is up first. Elgin with another back drop but he picks up Ciampa for a buckle bomb followed by the spinning sit out power bomb but Ciampa kicks out and applies a Triangle choke on Elgin. Elgin picks up Ciampa for a power bomb but Ciampa holds on to the choke. Elgin with another buckle bomb.

Ciampa with a rollup and a knee to the head but Elgin kicks out at one. Elgin with a clothesline for a near fall. Elgin with a series of spinning back fists followed by a forearm to the back of the head. Elgin with a clothesline for the three count.

Winner: Michael Elgin

After the match, RD Evans figures he should make a phone call and QT Marshall makes his way to the ring and he is dressed up, but not to wrestle. Kevin is incredulous that RD would call QT as QT makes his way into the ring.

We have some more buffering and we return with Elgin and Ciampa shaking hands.

It is time for intermission.

We are back from intermission and there are Briscoes in the crowd.

Nigel McGuinness joins Kevin Kelly at the announce table for the second half of the show.

Kevin asks Nigel why the Tag and Television Title Match, that were announced originally as elimination matches are single fall matches.

Match Number Five: Matt Taven versus Jimmy Jacobs versus Jay Lethal for the ROH TV Title

We are back from some buffering and Taven and Jacobs are on the floor. Taven sends Jacobs into the guardrails. Lethal is now in control of things after more buffering. Lethal kicks Taven and then he connects with a drop kick to the head of Jacobs against the guardrails.

Taven is back in control after more buffering and Jacobs sends Taven’s head into the guardrails and then he hits a drop kick. Taven catches Jacobs on a dive off the apron and hits a power bomb.

Taven and Lethal are in the ring and Lethal with a hip toss followed by a cartwheel and drop kick for a near fall. Lethal with a punch in the corner to Taven followed by an Irish whip and chops. Lethal with another Irish whip but he is sent to the apron and Lethal with a chop and then he goes up top and hits a missile drop kick and then he hits a running forearm into the corner.

Jacobs goes up top but Lethal with a kick and slam. Lethal goes up top and Jacobs stops him. Jacobs goes for a super rana and he hits it and Jacobs gets a near fall on Lethal while Taven struggles to get back into the ring.

Jacobs punches Lethal but Truth grabs Jacobs’ foot and Taven kicks Lethal. Taven with an enzuigiri to Jacobs followed by butterfly driver of Jacobs onto Lethal for a near fall on Jacobs. Taven punches Jacobs and then he chokes him. Taven apparently kicks Lethal from the apron. Jacobs sends Taven to the floor.

Jacobs tries for a pescado but it is more important to see Truth Martini. Taven gets a near fall on Jacobs. Lethal tries for a sunset flip but Taven does not go over and he pulls down his tights for a moment. Lethal with a kick and a double Flatline and everyone is down in the ring.

All three men exchange punches. Taven with kicks to Jacobs and Lethal and then Taven goes for the wrist clutch head lock driver but Jacobs stops him and Jacobs with the Contra Code to Taven. Lethal with a giant swing to Taven.

Taven with a knee to Lethal’s midsection and then he puts Lethal on the top rope but Lethal escapes. Lethal goes up top for the elbow drop and he hits it. Jacobs breaks up the cover and then Jacobs goes for the Contra Code but Lethal sends Jacobs over the top rope to the floor. Lethal with a springboard drop kick that knocks Taven off the apron.

Lethal with a suicide dive onto Taven. Lethal returns to the ring and Scarlet comes into the ring and she slaps Lethal. Lethal removes her top and the referee covers her up. Truth yells at Lethal and Jacobs with a spear to Lethal. Truth taps Jacobs on the back and Truth begs for mercy. The other hottie gets between Jacobs and Truth. All of this happens while the referee is not looking at anything in the ring.

She gets Jacobs up but Lethal with a super kick to the woman. Jacobs with a springboard Ace Crusher to Lethal and after buffering, the match is over.

Winner: Matt Taven

Match Number Six: reDRagon (Bobby Fish and Kyle O'Reilly) versus SCUM (Rhett Titus and Cliff Compton) versus C&C Wrestle Factory (Caprice Coleman and Cedric Alexander) for the ROH Tag Team Titles

The two teams of challengers battle while Fish and O’Reilly watch. Fish and O’Reilly join in the fun. Titus and Compton are pinballed before they are thrown out of the ring. Fish and O’Reilly with baseball slides and then Alexander with a flip dive onto Titus and Compton. They hold the ropes for Coleman but Fish with a back heel kick and Kyle with an axe kick to the back of the head. Kyle slaps Caprice.

Cedric with a double missile drop kick to Kyle and Bobby. Coleman and Alexander with a series of kicks to Fish and then Alexander with a drop kick to Kyle and Caprice with a leg drop to Kyle.

Alexander is down on the floor and it appears that Compton and Titus are in control. Titus with a knee to Coleman and then he tags in Compton. Titus is back in after some buffering and he drops a knee on Coleman’s arm and applies an arm bar on the injured left arm.

Compton tags back in and they stop Coleman from making the tag for a moment but Caprice with a double drop kick. Alexander tags in and Kyle tags in and Alexander works over Kyle and Bobby. Alexander with an enzuigiri to Fish and then he hits a full nelson front driver on Kyle for a near fall.

Compton falls victim to a Hart Attack leg lariat from Coleman and Alexander. Titus is sent over the top rope onto Compton. Alexander with a running drop kick to Kyle in the corner. They get set for Overtime and they hit it but Alexander cannot capitalize and Titus and Compton try to pull Kyle out of the ring. Coleman with a cross body onto Titus and Compton.

Alexander with a brainbuster on Kyle and Fish with a kick to the head and Bobby puts Kyle’s arm on top of Cedric to get the three count.

Winners: Bobby Fish and Kyle O’Reilly

We have a video package for Kevin Steen versus Matt Hardy.

Steve Corino gets on the mic and he says that Baltimore has been a city known for losers. False heroes that they cheer because they hate themselves so much. Matt Hardy is an icon. He says that they have an icon in front of them, but they boo him. This is a man who has over 800,000 Twitter followers but you choose to boo him.

Instead you waste your time cheering someone like Cal Ripken and his sham streak. You boo Matt Hardy but you cheer that alleged killer Ray Lewis. You boo this man and you cheer that no good jealous Kevin Steen. Corino criticizes the way a fan threw something into the ring.

Kevin Steen comes to the ring and he provides a rebuttal to Corino’s opening remarks. He says that he has a request for Nigel. We all know that SCUM won’t keep their nose out of this so he will be damned if this ends as a disqualification. This should be a No DQ match. Nigel agrees and then Kevin wants to know if Matt’s brother is the one with balls in the family.

Match Number Seven: Kevin Steen versus Matt Hardy in a No Disqualification Match

Hardy goes after Steen and they exchange punches. Now it is forearms with Steen getting the advantage. Hardy pulls the referee in front of him to avoid the cannonball. Hardy goes for the knee and then he starts to work on the knee. Hardy wraps the leg in the ropes. Steen runs Hardy into the turnbuckles but Hardy with an elbow. Steen with a power bomb and Hardy rolls to the floor.

Steen goes to the floor and he chops Hardy and Steen flips off a fan in the crowd. Steen sends Hardy into the guardrails. Steen grabs a crutch and then he might have done something with it but we get more buffering and the crutch is gone.

Hardy is sent groin first into the ring post a few times. Hardy with punches and then he sends Steen’s back into the guardrail. Hardy slams the head into the guardrail a few more times. Hardy punches Steen in front of Papa Briscoe.

They go back into the ring and Corino gives Hardy a trash can and he hits Steen with it a few times. Corino gets a ladder and he puts it at ringside. Steen punches Hardy in the midsection to stop use of the trash can. Hardy with a neck breaker on Steen. Hardy with another neck breaker as he continues to focus on the neck.

Hardy goes up top for a moonsault but Steen is able to roll out of the way but Hardy still catches Steen in the back. Steen sets for the cannonball and he hits it. Steen puts the trash can on top of Hardy and it is time for another cannonball and he connects. Steen gets a near fall.

We move ahead after some more buffering and Steen sets up a table on the floor. Steen gets Hardy on his shoulders but Hardy holds on to the ropes. Rhett Titus tries to interfere and Steen with a package piledriver to Titus.

Hardy with a Side Effect to Steen for a near fall. Hardy with another Side Effect while the fans are not happy with the moves that Hardy is using. They fight to the apron and Hardy tries for a Side Effect through the table but Steen with an elbow to stop him. Steen tries for a package piledriver through the table but Jimmy Jacobs moves the table.

Steen power bombs Jacobs into the apron a few times. Steen with a kick to Hardy and Steen with a power bomb onto the apron. Cliff Compton hits Steen with a chair a few times. Hardy brings the ladder into the ring and he hits Steen in the face with it and then a shot to the back. Hardy holds the ladder over his head but Steen is able to avoid it and he gets a near fall.

We have some more buffering and Steen is now in control. Hardy with a low blow to avoid the package piledriver and Hardy with a Side Effect on the ladder but Steen kicks out at two.

Hardy sets up a chair in the ring and then he gets another one and puts it in the ring. Steen spits in Hardy’s face and Matt with a Twist of Fate through the chairs and he gets the three count.

Winner: Matt Hardy

After the match, members of SCUM attack Steen while no one comes to help Steen.

We go ringside where Larry Mercer is with the members of the Briscoe Family. He asks Papa Briscoe how he feels. He says that this is about to get real. When you walk down that dark alley, you want to know who has your back and that is family.

Match Number Eight: Jay Briscoe versus Mark Briscoe for the ROH World Title

Mark offers his hand and Jay refuses it is brother versus brother without honor.

They lock up and go to a stalemate. They lock up again and Mark with an arm drag. We get a Mark/Jay chant reminiscent of the ‘Less Filling/Tastes Great’ commercial from back in the day. Mark with a front face lock and Jay runs Mark into the corner. Jay with a clean break.

We have a Greco Roman knuckle lock and Mark with a back drop while holding on. Mark with a front face lock but Jay rolls through and he tries to take Mark down but Mark sees it coming and he avoids it.

They lock up again and after some buffering they circle each other in the ring. Mark avoids ay and the family goes crazy for what they just saw. Mark offers his hand and Jay goes to shake it but Mark pulls it away.

Jay misses a kick and punch but Mark with a slam and Jay with a forearm. Jay has something to say to Mark and then they lock up again. Mark sends Jay to the floor and Mark with a baseball slide that sends Jay against the guardrails. Mark with a chop and Jay chops back. Mark with a forearm and chop followed by punches and more chops. Mark with a head butt but he takes too long and Jay with a boot to the head. Jay breaks the count. Mark with a punch and then he suplexes Jay onto the apron. Mark misses a chop but he connects with a thrust to the throat. Jay with a jab to Mark. Jay with more jabs.

Jay with kicks and he chokes Mark in the corner. Jay sends Mark to the apron and then Mark goes up top but he misses the chop. Jay with a flatline into the turnbuckles. Mark puts Jay on the top turnbuckle and Mark with a thrust to the throat. Mark avoids a kick and Mark with an enzuigiri and both men are down.

Mark sends Jay to the mat and he gets a near fall. Jay rolls to the floor and he lets the referee continue his count. Jay looks under the ring and he finds a table and then Mark helps him set it up.

They go to the other side of the ring and they exchange forearms. We have more buffering and both men are down while the crowd goes crazy. Jay sends Mark into the ring and then he connects with a running boot to the head. Jay with a neck breaker and he gets a near fall.

Jay goes for a JayDriller but Mark drops down and blocks it. Jay with an elbow to the back of the head. Mark with a Saito suplex followed by a running drop kick and then he puts Jay on the turnbuckles. Mark with chops to Jay followed by a straitjacket driver for a near fall.

Mark looks at the table and Mark has an idea. Mark sends Jay to the apron and Jay with punches to Mark. Mark with a punch but Jay with a head butt. Jay gets Mark on his shoulders and Mark gets to the ring and then he hits a plancha onto Jay. Mark slams Jay’s head into the table and then he puts Jay on the table.

Mark goes up top and then through the magic of buffering, Jay is now in the ring and Mark goes up top again. Mark with chops to the shoulder. Jay blocks an enzuigiri and Jay with kicks to Mark. Mark avoids a kick and Mark hits an enzuigiri. Mark goes for the burning hammer and he hits it but he can only get a two count.

Mark slaps Jay and then he puts Jay on the turnbuckles. Mark with forearms to the back and then he goes for another burning hammer but Jay escapes. Mark and Jay exchange forearms. Mark with chops and Jay with forearms. Jay with a European uppercut and Jay hits the Jay Driller but Mark kicks out.

Jay with a clothesline and then he hits a second Jay Driller but Mark kicks out at one. We see the crowd while apparently there were a few super kicks from Jay. We see a few more super kicks and Jay hits a Jay Driller for the three count.

Winner: Jay Briscoe

After the match, the family enters the ring to check on Mark and Jay.

We go to credits.
