Another Hall of Famer to Appear on Raw

WWE is advertising that Hall of Famer "Rowdy" Roddy Piper will be appearing on tonight's live 12/22 RAW from Minneapolis hosting a "Piper's Pit" segment with Rusev and Lana.
Already scheduled for the show is Hall of Famer Hulk Hogan.

Opinionated View- Oh lord this show is going to suck enough we don't need crazy Piper showing up. And no don't tell me "Piper's one of the true legends. Piper's Pit was a great segment." Because that was all the 1980's Piper has lost it and the Pit hasn't been interesting in years.

Update On Rowdy Roddy Piper's Issues With WWE

"Rowdy" Roddy Piper has had some issues with WWE for almost a year now as a result of WWE's taping of the Legends House reality show. 

WWE wanted all talent who appeared on the show to sign a contract stating they wouldn't work any other pro wrestling or MMA shows before the reality show airs. The show was taped over a year ago and still hasn't aired. Because it took so long to air, Piper refused to sign the deal. He didn't want to be absent from MMA shows because his son is a fighter and Piper wanted to use his name and likeness to help his son if he needed to. 

Piper and WWE officials didn't resolve their problems until six weeks ago, as WWE wanted Piper for Wrestlemania 30. This is also why Piper was not included in the WWE 2K14 video game. 

Opinionated View- Yeah the legends house was filmed back when WWE Network was supposed to be on TV. And I call bullshit on WWE telling anyone not to appear anywhere. I get asking them not to appear on TNA or ROH but why them appearing on a local indy show really do any damage to that show. And good for Piper for rejecting them.

Another Segment Planned For Raw Tonight (SPOILERS)

Roddy Piper is scheduled to appear on tonight's edition of WWE Old School Raw. As of Friday, the company had written in a Piper's Pit segment. In the segment, Piper will interview the Shield, with the segment being used to continue the dissension between Ambrose, Rollins and Reigns. 

Opinionated View- That is going to be awful. Once upon a time Piper was a great talker but those days are over now we just get crazy Roddy ranting and raving.

Hulk Hogan vs Roddy Piper at WrestleMania?

While WWE and Hulk Hogan are still negotiating, the latest report is that the two are close to a deal. Creative is currently working on several different match and storyline scenarios for Hogan at WrestleMania 30. 

The most recent talks had Hogan working with John Cena in some way. One possibility is to have Hogan in Cena's corner while another has Hogan teaming with Cena against the Real Americans. There are also reports that Roddy Piper may be brought in either for a singles match with Hogan (the only singles match for Hogan being discussed) or to team with a heel against Hogan and Cena. Another idea being suggested is Hogan teaming with Piper to face the Real Americans. 

Nothing is official right now, but WWE is working under the assumption that Hogan will come to a deal with the company by WrestleMania 30. 

Opinionated View- Dear God NO! Its bad enough they might let Hogan wrestle but Piper. As beat up as Hogan is Piper is worse. And oh no last thing we need is crazy Piper cutting promos on Hogan. Its 2014 and WM 30 last thing we need is to have a match with guys that main evented the first Mania.

ROH News: WWE Hall of Famer added to first TV taping of 2014, two matches advertised

WWE Hall of Famer Roddy Piper is advertised for the January 4 television taping in Nashville, Tennessee. Opinionated View- Steen vs Hero and Ciampa vs Young should be good match but Piper give me a fucking break. As great as Piper was at one time he's every bit as bad now. I just pray they aren't stupid enough to let him cut a promo oh who am I kidding this is ROH there a good chance he will up wrestling.

Ric Flair, better known to wrestling fans around the world as "The Nature Boy," lives in Charlotte, North Carolina with his girlfriend, Wendy, and her four children, Sophia (14), Sebastian (12), Paris (10) and Summer (9). Ric and Wendy live a very lavish and fast-paced lifestyle and enjoy the finer things in life, spending most evenings out on the town where Ric revels in his celebrity and the attention of fans.

"Rowdy" Roddy Piper is one of the WWE's most notorious villains and one of "The Nature Boy's" fiercest competitors. Retired from the ring, Roddy lives with his wife of 30 years, Kitty, daughter Fallon, son Colt and his fiancee, Sarah, on a large piece of land on a mountain in Portland, Oregon. While retired from the business, Roddy's never too far from the sport, spending his days training Colt, who is following in his father's footsteps as a professional wrestler. The Pipers are a close-knit family who enjoy spending time at home together. Kitty is solely responsible for the running of the home, including cooking, cleaning and caring for the family's animals.

When Kitty, arrives at the Flair home, she's happy to catch up with her old friend, Ric. On the first night of the swap, she gets an immediate taste of Ric's lifestyle when he takes her to a jewelry store and buys her an expensive gift, followed by drinks and dinner out. Kitty finds it hard to keep up with Ric as she watches him mingle with fans, and feels left on the sidelines and alone. When it's time for the rules change, Kitty sits down for a heartfelt talk with Ric that really opens his eyes and puts things into perspective. Meanwhile in Portland, Wendy finds stepping into Kitty's shoes challenging, especially when she tries to cook dinner for the family. When it's time for Wendy to implement her rules change, she tells the Pipers that it's time to get off the mountain and have some fun - specifically having the thrifty Roddy spend money on a family day in town -- which Roddy surprisingly enjoys.

In the series, two mothers of celebrity families, each with opposing values, trade households, lifestyles and children (but not bedrooms) in a week-long challenge. In the first part of the exchange, each mom moves into the other's home and agrees to follow a manual of "household rules" written by the departing mother, including: how to parent, manage their social life, do house work, unwind and more. Everything changes in the second half of the week, when "new" mommy" takes charge, introduces her own set of rules and runs the "nest" her way. At the end of the week the two couples meet for the first time. In a raw, honest and highly-charged exchange of views, the couples will make frank assessments of each another and discuss their experiences, having had a very real taste of what life would be like in someone else's family.
