- After appearing at a Future Stars of Wrestling show on Saturday in Las Vegas, Jake Roberts appeared at the FSW Training Facility on Monday with Sinn Bodhi. Latest Update on Jake Roberts

Chuck Carroll of CBS Radio passed this along.
I conducted an interview with Sinn Bodhi who provided me with an update on Jake "The Snake" Roberts condition and exactly what led to his hospitalization.
The full interview on The Turnbuckle Weekly with Chuck Carroll can be heard online via CBS Radio in Washington, D.C.
Bodhi said Roberts will be moved out of Intensive Care by this weekend. He will remain hospitalized under observation until doctors feel he can continue to recover at home.
Once discharged, Bodhi said Roberts will stay with him for a while before traveling back to Atlanta.
He made clear that the ordeal was not the result of substance abuse.
Bodhi also spoke about a mass on Roberts' brain that was discovered during the hospitalization. Doctors believe it was most likely was caused by his years of working in the ring.
The full interview touches on his prognosis moving forward, how fans can help, and speculates on whether Roberts will wrestle again.

Jake Roberts Health Update – He’s Been Taken Off The Ventilator

- Sinn Bodhi posted the following on his Facebook, updating fans on the condition of Jake Roberts…

"UPDATE on Jake The Snake Roberts: Great news!… Docs took Jake off ventilator way earlier then expected! He is kicking ass on his spirometer breathing tests…If he keeps up this pace he will not need to go back on Ventilator so everyone please cross your fingers! Jake finally can speak for the first time since last Wed… Late last night (while still ventilated & unable to speak) one of the male nurses took a bandage off of Jake's neck where they have tubes for his meds… It was so unpleasant to Jake he wrote on the pad they gave him three letters… DDT… Even though Jake is off of the ventilator for the time being he will be monitored for 24-48 hours before docs decide if it is safe to keep him off. Once Jake could speak he wanted steak, milkshakes, eggs & donuts… He is only allowed to get his nutrients intraveinously for the time being… Jake even joked that he would do anything for a donut if he had to… The nurses still said no donuts to which Jake replied with his favorite gesture I think he was trying to say ‘you're #1′ but I could be wrong?!… One of Jake's sons flew in to help out but Jake insisted I show him a good time while he rests tonight… Soooo. Zombie Burlesque, here we come! ?#?GetBetterJake?"

Sinn Bodhi Provides New Update on The Health of Jake Roberts

- Sinn Bodhi posted the following on his Facebook, giving the latest health update on Jake "The Snake" Roberts…

UPDATE on Jake The Snake Roberts: Jake is NOT in a coma! Please don't believe crappy gossip... Jake still has Phnemonia. He is not getting enough oxygen so he has been sedated and put on a ventilator... (Sedated only because the procedure is painful). Doctors have to wait & see how he responds before they can continue with MRI & other tests as the Ventilator is inhibiting but nessecary... And until the Phnemonia is cleared up it is preventing Docs from seeing what the underlying problems are. Docs can only speculate on how long he will be in this state. #GetBetterJake You can leave Jake Get-well-messages on Twitter @JakeSnakeDDT

Jake Roberts Described As Having Brain Abnormality

Kyle Magee, the lawyer, manager and roommate of WWE Hall of Famer Jake "The Snake" Roberts, wrote in a letter to Bill Apter that the mass discovered in the head of Roberts was described as a brain abnormality. Magee's theory is that the abnormality was a result of all the bumps Roberts had taken during his career.
He did clarify that Roberts was not unconscious on his flight to Las Vegas and instead informed flight attendances that he was in severe pain and was having shortness of breath. Roberts was rushed to a hospital and then put into an induced coma. Magee also noted that Roberts had been sick for around a week and still wanted to do Sinn Bodhi's show in Las Vegas on Friday.
Opinionated View- I also wouldn't rule out the fact Jake has abused drugs and alcohol for years.

Jake Roberts Health Update

WWE Hall of Famer Jake Roberts is currently hospitalized in an ICU unit of a Las Vegas hospital, PWInsider.com can confirm.
Roberts collapsed on a flight traveling to Vegas for an appearance for a show being promoted by Sinn "Kizarny" Bodhi this weekend and was removed from the flight via ambulance when it arrived in Vegas as the crew was unable to revive him.

Roberts had been very ill over the last week, believed to be double pneumonia but blew off going to the doctor before getting on his flight.

As of this writing, he has still yet to regain consciousness and is technically in a coma. Bodhi has been with Roberts at the hospital.

Obviously, we wish Roberts and his family nothing but the best during this time.

WWE quietly helping Jake Roberts, Scott Hall

WWE has been quietly putting money towards DDP's current deal with Jake "The Snake" Roberts and Scott Hall for rehab purposes according to a report by Dave Meltzer. Both Roberts and Hall were described as having to battle their demons on a daily basis.

Opinionated View- I don't really have a whole lot of faith in the DDP thing. Because I have no faith in Hall or Roberts sooner or latter they will show fuck up and start getting high or drunk or stoned or what ever again.

Jake "The Snake" Roberts - I Have Cancer
Jake "The Snake" Roberts has a cancerous tumor behind his knee ... and the wrestler says it's slowly growing into his muscle -- so he needs emergency surgery to remove the growth.
Roberts tells TMZ ... he noticed a tumor behind his knee the size of a half dollar last month so he had it tested ... and on Friday doctors told him the test came back positive for cancer.
Jake says he's scheduled to go under the knife Tuesday morning ... and after a few weeks off -- he'll make his return to Jersey Championship Wrestling on March 14th -- cancer, or not.

Jake Roberts Never Intended For Royal Rumble

Jake "The Snake" Roberts was never considered for a spot in the 2014 Royal Rumble. He was brought back on Old School RAW so he could be inducted into the WWE Hall of Fame. WWE didn't want to waste him in the Rumble match because they had bigger plans.

Opinionated View- We had enough nostalgia comedy entires in the rumble we didn't need Jake. I'm love him going into the hall but I don't care how much yoga he's done I don't want to see wrestle anymore.

Two Major Stars To Return At WWE Royal Rumble (SPOILERS)

John Cena and Sheamus are expected to make surprise returns at the WWE Royal Rumble in January, as surprise entrants in the Rumble match itself.

This would likely mean that other current or former stars will be making surprise returns at the event this year. Jake "the Snake" Roberts had been talking for months about being a part of the 2014 Rumble, but may not do it this time with both Cena and Sheamus returning.

Plans could always change between now and January, but this is currently what is being planned. John Cena previously made a surprise return at the 2008 Royal Rumble.

Opinionated View- Well first I think almost everyone figured Cena would return at the rumble. Honestly you people know how I feel about Cena. But I can stand Cena showing up in the Rumble hell my bigger issue would be Jake. And anyone that says "Jake would be cool" go check out the videos he is doing with DDP he looks awful hell he makes Piper and Snuka from years ago look great.

In stark contrast to the sport’s high-flying, musclebound theatrics, yoga is now helping rehabilitate some stars of yesteryear. Diamond Dallas Page, famous for his success in the WCW and WWF, created DDP Yoga after finding that yoga helped ease not only his physical ailments but also his depression, and has striven to help others from his era, most notably Scott “Razor Ramon” Hall and Jake “The Snake” Roberts. Correspondent Frank Deford sits down with the wrestlers to discuss how yoga has helped their lives in a way they never thought possible.
