DDP Suffering Staph Infection After Throat Surgery

In a post on Facebook, DDP provided an update on his health and revealed that he has a staph infection ever since his throat surgery.
He wrote: “I just wanna give you an UPDATE! I saw Dr. Carothers yesterday and he says I have a really bad staph infection in my throat but because of the operation everything is on the Heal now… BELIEVE IT OR NOT! I didn’t TALK for 2 days and have been speaking with a soft tone for the last 5 but today I’m picking up the volume a little. Hopefully I’ll be good to start teaching class next week. As for the DDPY WORKSHOPS and PERSONAL APPEARANCES… EVERYTHING IS ON and I can’t wait to see you ALL! Again THANK YOU SO MUCH for all the well wishes they were actually really AMAZING smile emoticon Now Keep up the Great work and keep me posted! DDP To Undergo Surgery Next Week

Former WWE, WCW & TNA star Diamond Dallas Page posted a new blog on his Facebook page last night, updating fans on his current status after being in the hospital over the weekend for an issue with throat, diagonsed as "subglotic traceitis", which is a severe swelling of the vocal chords, that can also bring a narrowing of the airway under the chords due to mucus, preventing one from getting enough air in to breathe. In the blog, Page announced that he will be undergoing surgery next week on his throat to clear out nodules and anything else needed to repair the damage to his throat.

DDP Has Health Scare

Diamond Dallas Page has added a lengthy post on his official Facebook page revealing a health scare keeping him in the ICU at Piedmon Hospital in Atlanta this weekend. DDP revealed he is currently suffering from vocal cord swelling and scaring subglottic tracheitis adding that surgery is possible to fix the problem. He believes a busy schedule including lots of travel may have created the problem with his vocal cords.

Diamond Dallas Page won’t be able to make the Rumble after all. The Wrap reports that Page will be at the 2015 Slamdance Film Festival, where the Jake Roberts documentary is screening. According to the site, the trio of Page, Roberts and Scott Hall are hosting a Royal Rumble viewing party at their Park City house.

Possible Royal Rumble Surprises Planned (SPOILERS)

At this time, the plan is for Bo Dallas to make his return from injury in the WWE Royal Rumble match. Dallas has been out of action since November 3rd with a foot injury.
– There are plans for Diamond Dallas Page to appear in the match as well. He would be back as a surprise name and not full time.

Opinionated View- Both are bad ides. Bo Dallas is way boring no one will care I bet casual have already forgotten who he is. DDP is to old I'm sick older washed up guys showing up and taking spots even for just 1 night

WWE quietly helping Jake Roberts, Scott Hall

WWE has been quietly putting money towards DDP's current deal with Jake "The Snake" Roberts and Scott Hall for rehab purposes according to a report by Dave Meltzer. Both Roberts and Hall were described as having to battle their demons on a daily basis.

Opinionated View- I don't really have a whole lot of faith in the DDP thing. Because I have no faith in Hall or Roberts sooner or latter they will show fuck up and start getting high or drunk or stoned or what ever again.
