WWE Hell in a Cell Buyrate

According to the most recent update of WWE's Key Performance Indicators on the corporate website, the 10/26 WWE Hell in a Cell PPV from Dallas, Texas (headlined by Dean Ambrose vs. Seth Rollins in a Hell in a Cell match but sold an as Orton vs. Cena PPV) drew 76,000 traditional Pay Per View buys. The final number will be released during the 2014 fourth quarter earnings at the beginning of January 2015

Opinionated View- WWE and it's IWC defenders are already defending it saying the drop is due to the network. And why that did play a role its not the sole reason. I think its mainly no one wanted to Cena and Orton again.

Interesting Stat From The Rollins vs. Ambrose Main Event at Hell in a Cell

According to The Wrestling Observer (via WrestleZone), the Dean Ambrose vs. Seth Rollins main event at Hell in a Cell has an interesting stat attached to it. The main event was the first match since November 23rd, 1994 (Survivor Series) that two WWE Superstars under the age of 30 headlined a singles match on PPV. That match featured The Undertaker vs. Yokozuna.

WWE Hell in a Cell 2014 Report

The show opens with a video package focusing on John Cena vs. Randy Orton with the winner earning a shot at Brock Lesnar for the WWE World Heavyweight Championship and Dean Ambrose vs. Seth Rollins tonight.

A graphic opening hits welcoming us to Hell in a Cell. We go live to the American Airlines Center where a huge display of pyro goes off in the entrance area. Michael Cole is the first to welcome us to the show live from Dallas.

WWE Intercontinental Champion Dolph Ziggler is out first to kick off the show.

WWE Intercontinental Championship - Best 2 out of 3 Falls Match
Dolph Ziggler (c) vs. Cesaro

Lock up and Cesaro pushes Ziggler into the ropes. Both exchange a few reversals and go to the mat grappling. Cesaro with a quick shoulder tackle and applies a headlock on Ziggler to keep him grounded. Cesaro and Ziggler exchange pinfall attempts early. Ziggler with a corner splash, Cesaro counters, looks for a Cesaro Swing and Ziggler counters into a cover for a two count. Cesaro drops Ziggler face first off the corner and then does the Cesaro Swing. Ziggler with a pinfall on Cesaro after he kicked out of a pinfall attempt by Cesaro and rolled over. The referee backs Cesaro off due to the brief rest period between falls.

Cesaro with a big stomp over Ziggler quickly. Ziggler avoids a second rope elbow drop from Cesaro. Cesaro is favoring his left arm after dropping Ziggler face first off the mat. Cesaro with a big stomp over the chest of Ziggler, covers and gets a two count. Cesaro hooks the arms of Ziggler, flips him up to his shoulders and drops Ziggler with a quick powerbomb. Cesaro gets another two count. Ziggler drops the bad arm of Cesaro off the top rope. Ziggler gets the back of Cesaro applying a sleeper. Cesaro drops Ziggler to the corner back first. Cesaro twists Ziggler to his chest, attempts a suplex, Ziggler counters and Cesaro pushes Ziggler back first into the corner again. Cesaro, holding Ziggler, climbs up to the second rope and connects with a huge superplex! Both men are down as the referee starts the count. Cesaro breaks it with a cover on Ziggler and Ziggler kicks out after two. Ziggler with a Fameasser on Cesaro and Cesaro kicks out. Cesaro avoids a Zig Zag, tosses Ziggler up and catches him with an uppercut. Ziggler again kicks out. Cesaro drops big elbows over the head of Ziggler and slaps the mat in frustration. Cesaro with a backbreaker and another kick out by Ziggler. Ziggler drops the arm of Cesaro, superkick and Zig Zag. Ziggler hooks the leg and gets the pinfall.

Backstage, Triple H, Stephanie McMahon and Kane are talking when Randy Orton walks up. Orton wants a conversation with Seth Rollins and wants to make sure Rollins stays out of his business tonight. Stephanie tells Randy to use his anger on John Cena tonight. Orton said Rollins attacked him last Monday night. Triple H says you can't blame Rollins with how many RKO's he was tossing out on Monday night. He said Rollins is just like Orton and tonight is not the night to think about that. Triple H said Orton needs to finish Cena and "take back what is yours." Orton said he will and if they can't handle Rollins, he will.

Nikki Bella vs. Brie Bella

Lock up and Nikki pushes Brie to the corner. Brie with an early cover only for a one count. Brie catches Nikki with a dropkick to the head. Brie jumps up, Nikki catches her on her shoulders and then drops Brie on her back in an electric chair. Nikki drops Brie face first off her knee, cover and Brie kicks out after two. Nikki pulls Brie over her back by her hair. Brie with a facebuster on Nikki for a two count. Brie with a jumping clothesline that drops Nikki. Brie follows with a dropkick. Brie with a big knee to the head of Nikki. Nikki rolls out and Brie catches her with a suicide dive. Nikki favors her knee as she is rolled back in the ring. Brie comes off the top rope connecting with a big missile dropkick. Nikki drops Brie in a modified torture rack and Brie kicks out. Nikki can't believe it. Brie drops Nikki down and goes for the Yes Lock. Brie gets it locked in and Nikki gets to the bottom rope to break it up. Nikki drops Brie with a big forearm. Nikki has Brie back up and connects again with her Rack Attack (torture rack). Nikki gets the pinfall.

Goldust and Stardust (c's) vs. The Usos

We start with Stardust and Jimmy Uso. Stardust with a quick hip toss and slap to Jimmy. Jimmy fires back with chops. Jimmy with a hip toss of his own on Stardust. Tag to Jey Uso who connects with a flying elbow to Stardust. Stardust with a big knee to Jey and tag to Goldust. Jey with quick chops on Goldust. Tag to Jimmy as The Usos connect with a double elbow shot on Goldust. Tag to Stardust who pulls Jey into the corner and drops his knee off the steel ring post. Stardust tosses Jimmy back in and hits a few stomps to the body. Quick tag to Goldust hits a knee to Jimmy. Goldust with a headlock on Jimmy and Jimmy breaks it up with a modified stunner. Goldust with a snap powerslam. Tag to Stardust who drops a boot over the knee of Jimmy and then drops him face first over the mat. Stardust keeps Jimmy grounded. Jimmy tosses Goldust over the top rope. Hot tag to Jey who takes out Goldust on the outside and then tosses Stardust out. Jey leaps over the top rope and takes out Stardust. Jey rolls Goldust back in, goes up top and connects with a cross body for a two count. Jey with a kick, chop and samoan drops combo on Goldust for a close two count. Goldust stands back up and then falls in the corner. Jey with a corner bump to Goldust, hooks the leg and Goldust again kicks out. Goldust blocks a superkick from Jey. Goldust with a spinebuster and Jey kicks out. Goldust with chops to Jey in the corner. Goldust misses jumping back and eats a superkick from Jey. Goldust barely gets a shoulder up. The Usos have Goldust and Stardust up on the opposite corners. Usos with two superplexes on Goldust and Stardust. Jey with a splash over Goldust and Stardust breaks up the pinfall. Jimmy works over Stardust in the corner. The referee pushes Jimmy to his corner. Stardust kicks the leg of Jey. Goldust lifts up Jey for a suplex and then changes to a modified neckbreaker. Goldust get the pinfall.

The Hell in a Cell begins to lower. John Cena vs. Randy Orton is up next. A video package runs looking back at the "epic" rivalry between Cena and Orton.

Cena and Orton exchange punches and kicks early. Orton catches Cena with a quick elbow. They brawl to the ringside area and Orton drops Cena face first off the ring. Orton then sends Cena face first into the side of the cell. Orton grabs a steel chair, returns to the ring and Cena kicks Orton causing Orton to drop it. Cena with a quick suplex. Orton responds with a headbutt. Orton grabs the chair and hits Cena in the gut with it. Orton then cracks it over the back of Cena. Orton props the chair in the corner. Orton avoids an AA early and connects with a DDT on Cena. On the outside, Orton sends Cena into the steel steps and then pushes Cena face first into the steel. Back in the ring, Orton drops Cena with a quick clothesline. Orton stomps over Cena on the mat, Cena rolls out and Orton sends him face first into the side of the cell structure. Back in the ring, Cena with two big shoulder blocks and then plants Orton. Orton counters a Five Knuckle Shuffle and connects with a quick snap powerslam. Cena dumps Orton to the outside. Orton sends Cena crotch first into the steel ring post at ringside. Orton then drops Cena over his back hanging from the steel post. Cena is up on the ring apron, Orton hits the ropes and launches Cena face first into the side of the cell. Cena sends Orton shoulder first into the cell and then sends him face first into the cell. Cena grabs a table and sets it up in the ring. Orton slides back in, Cena has him up, Orton flips the table over and drops Cena with a standing dropkick. Orton sends Cena face first into the steel chair that was setup in the corner. Orton grabs the table and sets it up against the corner. Cena attempts his shoulder blocks and Orton connects with an RKO out of no where! Cena barely kicks out. Orton sends Cena through the table in the corner. Cena again kicks out when Orton attempts a pinfall. Orton breaks up the steel steps at ringside and brings the bottom part in the ring. Orton is calling for an RKO. Cena counters and drops Orton over the steel steps. Five Knuckle Shuffle over Orton on the steps. Orton counters an AA attempt and gives Cena a low blow. Orton backs up in the corner, misses a punt, Cena drops Orton and gets the STF locked in. Orton makes it to the rope and Michael Cole reminds us that rope breaks don't apply inside the Hell in a Cell. Orton breaks it up. Cena grabs the steel steps inside the ring, tosses them over the top rope and Orton moves. Back in the ring, Cena with an AA and Orton kicks out. Cena attempts another AA, Orton counters in the air with an RKO and Cena kicks out! Cena with yet another AA and Orton still kicks out. Cena is frustrated. Cena grabs another table, puts Orton on it, goes up top and Orton cuts him off. Orton attempts an RKO on Cena to the table. Cena counters pushing Orton away. Cena gets Orton on his shoulders and connects with an AA through the table from the second rope. Cena gets the pinfall.

After the match, John Cena goes to the ringside area and yells at Paul Heyman who is sitting with the Hell in a Cell panel.

Backstage, we see Big Show warming up when Mark Henry walks up. Big Show said he is knocking that Russian out tonight.

Sheamus (c) vs. The Miz w/ Damien Mizdow

Sheamus goes for the Brogue Kick early and Miz avoids it. Sheamus with a quick hip toss. Sheamus tosses Miz to the ring apron and Miz fights back with elbows. Miz with kicks to Sheamus. Sheamus dumps Miz over the top rope. Sheamus pulls Miz against the ropes and drops forearms to the chest of Miz. Miz ends up clocking Mizdow at ringside by accident. Sheamus tosses Miz back in and Miz kicks Sheamus in the face. Miz chokes Sheamus with his boot in the corner. Sheamus with his jumping shoulder block that drops Miz. Miz catches Sheamus with a boot in the corner. Sheamus fires back with the Irish Curse backbreaker for a two count. Miz pushes Sheamus to the corner and connects with a neckbreaker for another two count. Miz with big knees to the chest of Sheamus. Miz starts slapping Sheamus. Sheamus with big body shots. Miz with a quick DDT. Sheamus plants Miz with a big scoop slam countering a Figure Four attempt by Miz. Mizdow jumps up on the ring apron to distract Sheamus. Miz with a roll through that Sheamus counters into one of his own. The referee is still distracted by Mizdown. Miz with the Skull Crushing Finale and Sheamus barely kicks out after two. Miz with his corner clothesline and tosses Sheamus aside. Miz goes up to the top rope, jumps and Sheamus catches him with a Brogue Kick on the way down.

After the match, Sheamus messes with The Miz. Damien Mizdow is in the ring doing everything that Sheamus does to Miz.

Backstage, we see Brie Bella loading up a car for her sister Nikki Bella. Nikki walks up asking for her smoothie. Nikki pour its over Brie and asks for another one to be delivered to her.

A video package runs focusing on Big Show vs. Rusev tonight.

Big Show vs. Rusev w/ Lana

Before the match, Lana got on the mic and asked for everyone to rise in Dallas for the Russian national anthem. Big Show's music cut her off.

The bell rings and Big Show pushes Rusev to the corner with body shots and chops. Big Show with a headbutt dropping Rusev to his knees. Big Show tries to get a boot up in the corner, Rusev counters and drops the knee of Big Show down over his shoulder. Rusev starts attacking the knee of Big Show dropping repeated elbows. Rusev keeps Big Show grounded dropping knees over Big Show's bad knee. Big Show counters dropping a leg over the throat of Rusev. Rusev with a suplex on Big Show. Rusev drops another elbow over the knee of Big Show and goes back to work keeping him grounded. Big Show pushes Rusev back with force to the corner. Headbutt by Big Show and Rusev fires back with a dropkick that takes Big Show off his feet. Big Show gets a modified cloverleaf submission on Rusev. Lana is screaming at Rusev to grab the bottom rope. Rusev gets to the bottom rope to break it up as Lana smiles clapping at ringside. Rusev avoids a punch, eats a shoulder block, eats another and Big Show slams him in both corners. Big Show with a spear on Rusev. Mark Henry is walking out to the ringside area. Big Show attempts a chokeslam, Rusev counters and drops forearms. Big Show grabs Rusev again and connects with a chokeslam. Rusev kicks out and rolls out. Big Show walks out and tells Henry he has this. Big Show tosses Rusev in the ring. Big Show eats a kick from Rusev. Henry jumps up on the ring apron and Rusev kicks him. Rusev with two more kicks to the head of Big Show. Big Show is down. Rusev gets the camel clutch applied on Big Show. The crowd starts a loud "USA" chant as Rusev pulls back with force. Big Show taps.

After the match, Rusev celebrates with the Russian flag with Lana.

Backstage, Dean Ambrose talks about Halloween being this Friday. He said the most popular costume is what Seth Rollins will look like after he gets done with him tonight.

AJ Lee (c) vs. Paige w/ Alicia Fox

Lock up and Paige gets a headlock applied. AJ fights out, eats a shoulder block from Paige and then fires back with a clothesline. AJ with a tilt-a-whirl takedown on Paige. AJ grabs Paige by the hair, skips around and catches her with a quick kick. Paige rolls out and AJ throws her into the ring apron. AJ jumps and attacks Alicia Fox at ringside. Paige grabs AJ and tosses her twice into the ring barricade. Paige tosses AJ back in the ring, drops a few headbutts and then stomps away at AJ in the corner. Paige with elbows to AJ in the corner. AJ with a Lou Thesz Press on Paige with some big rights. AJ follows with a neckbreaker from the corner. Paige catches AJ with a big kick coming off the ropes. AJ catches Paige with a kick to the jaw. AJ catches Paige with a tornado DDT resulting in a two count. AJ with a front choke. Paige fights out, skips around with AJ and then connects with a fallaway slam. AJ quickly rolls out. Paige sends AJ back first into the ring barricade. Paige stands up on the barricade and AJ trips her up falling back first over the barricade. Alicia tosses Paige back in before the referee could reach the 10 count. AJ gets the Black Widow applied. Paige quickly taps.

Before the match, Dean Ambrose walked out with a kendo stick on his back. Ambrose put weapons inside the ring and then climbed to the top of the cell structure. Ambrose fired up the crowd in Dallas standing at the top of the cell. Rollins' security team (Joey Mercury and Jamie Noble) walked out with Ambrose. Rollins yelled at Ambrose to come down. Noble and Mercury tell Rollins not to go up there. Rollins starts climbing up the cell and then jumps down. He tells Noble and Mercury to go get him. Both climb up on both sides as Rollins looks on. Noble is up first and Mercury follows. Ambrose hits Noble and Mercury with the kendo stick repeatedly. Rollins is now up. Both are brawling on top of the cell. Noble and Mercury trip up Ambrose holding him down. Rollins cracks the kendo stick over the back of Ambrose. Rollins drops the kendo stick off the top of the cell to the floor below. Mercury and Noble lift up Ambrose. Rollins tells them to throw Ambrose off. Ambrose fights off both. Ambrose with a suplex on Noble at the top of the cell. Ambrose cuts off Rollins from escaping. Mercury gets involved and Ambrose knocks him down. Rollins starts climbing down and Ambrose follows. Ambrose has Rollins by the hair. Ambrose with rights. Rollins is fighting back with rights of his own. Ambrose headbutts Rollins, lets go and both Ambrose and Rollins fall crashing through the announce tables at ringside! Both men are down as officials call for ringside help. EMTs are coming down with stretchers. We see replays of both men crashing through the tables at ringside a few times as medical staff attend to Ambrose and Rollins. Both men are put on a stretcher. Ambrose fights off his stretcher and goes after Rollins. Ambrose tosses Rollins off the stretcher and then sends him face first into the cell. Ambrose tosses Rollins inside the cell and tells everyone to back off. Ambrose slams the cell door into the face of Rollins, closes the door and tells the referees to lock the door.

The referee officially starts the match. Ambrose pulls out some duct tape and then grabs one of many steel chairs inside the ring. Ambrose sits down, yells at Rollins for stabbing him in the back and then cracks a chair over his back a few times. Ambrose keeps hitting Rollins with a chair over the shoulder of Rollins. Ambrose grabs a screwdriver, tries to use it on Rollins, Rollins breaks it up and then eats a dropkick from Ambrose bouncing off the side of the cage. Ambrose puts a table up against the side of the cell, picks up Rollins, Rollins counters rolling back in the ring and Ambrose with a clothesline to the back sending him over the top rope. Ambrose with a suicide dive to Rollins against the side of the cell structure. Ambrose starts stacking steel chairs. Rollins counters and drops Ambrose with a back suplex over all of the steel chairs. Rollins sets up a table over the ring apron and against the cell. Ambrose drops Rollins chin first off the top rope. Rollins slides down over the table. Ambrose with a flying elbow crashing through the table over Rollins! Ambrose pushes Rollins' face against the cell. Kane then shows up and sprays a fire extinguisher in the face of Ambrose. Rollins lifts up Ambrose to his shoulders and powerbombs him through the table that Ambrose set up earlier. Rollins picks up Ambrose, rolls him back in the ring and connects with the Curb Stomp. Rollins covers and Ambrose finds a way to kick out. Rollins grabs a chair and cracks it over Ambrose repeatedly. Ambrose with a big knee to Rollins. Rollins with a kick to Ambrose. Ambrose explodes with a huge clothesline, grabs the "Money in the Bank" briefcase and clocks Rollins with it. Ambrose grabs two cinder blocks from under the ring and puts them near Rollins. Ambrose puts Rollins' head over the cinder blocks and then the lights go out. We can hear the voice of Bray Wyatt. The lights come back on and Wyatt's light is in the middle of the ring with smoke coming up. Ambrose walks towards the smoke and we see Wyatt burst through taking out Ambrose with a big splash. Wyatt does his backwards crawl over Ambrose and then plants Ambrose. Wyatt falls to his knees as Rollins crawls over and covers Ambrose for the win.

Winner: Seth Rollins

After the match, Bray Wyatt grabs Dean Ambrose and connects with Sister Abigail. Wyatt falls to his knees laughing as the show comes to a close.

Is WWE Still Undecided on Tonight’s Hell in a Cell Main Event?

According to a recent report from F4WOnline, the WWE has still not decided on what Hell in a Cell match will main event the PPV tonight between Randy Orton vs. John Cena and Dean Ambrose vs. Seth Rollins. Believe it or not, but the F4WOnline report indicates that the decision will be made later this afternoon
Opinionated View- We all know its going to be Cena and Orton. It should be Ambrose and Rollins but WWE will go with Cena and Orton because WWE is stupid.

Ryback Reportedly Backstage at Hell in a Cell

Ryback was reportedly seen in Dallas, Texas, the host city for tonight’s Hell in a Cell event. In addition, F4WOnline reports that Ryback was flown in for the show and he is said to be backstage at the event.

However, per the report, all of the roster is said to be in town for the TV shows this week. So Ryback will not definitively make an appearance during tonight’s PPV.

Opinionated View- I'm sure Ryback will appear soon enough and start putting on shitty matches.

Opinionated View- A truly awful card. Ambrose vs Rollins should be good but I can just see WWE finding a way to mess it up. Zigler and Cesaro needed a better build it just seems like last second they rushed into a 2 out 3 falls match. On paper it sounds good but Ziggler's ring work has gone down hill and Cesaro is staring to head down hill as well. AJ and Paige just don't click in the ring. Rest of the card looks just freaking awful.

Stipulation Added to Cena vs Orton

A new stipulation has been added for John Cena vs. Randy Orton this Sunday at the Hell in a Cell PPV in Dallas. The match, which will take place inside a Hell in a Cell, will see the winner become the new No. 1 contender for the WWE World Heavyweight Championship to challenge current champion Brock Lesnar.

Opinionated View- So that is how they make Cena vs Orton number 600000000000000000000 the main event over Ambrose and Rollins the actual hot feud. And yes it makes no sense the losers match is the one for a title shot.

WWE.com has announced that WWE Divas Champion AJ Lee vs. Paige for the WWE Divas Title has been added to this Sunday's 10/26 WWE Hell in a Cell PPV from Dallas, Texas.

Which Match Will Headline Hell in a Cell?

F4WOnline.com reports that the Dean Ambrose vs. Seth Rollins Hell in a Cell match could possibly go on last at the upcoming PPV event. However, both Rollins vs. Ambrose and John Cena vs. Randy Orton will get equal promotion by WWE. That bit of news will certainly add fuel to the fire of fans who are incensed by the idea of WWE Creative being overprotective of Cena.

Hell in a Cell will mark the ninth one-on-one match between Cena and Orton on a WWE PPV. Orton currently leads in their single match encounters on PPV at 5-4, including DQ victories.

Opinionated View- I am so worried WWE is going to find a way to Fuck Ambrose vs Rollins. That state leaves all the time Cena and Orton have met on TV, in tag matches, in multi man matches on PPV it is by far the most over done feud in all of wrestling.

 During last night’s Smackdown, WWE announced that John Cena will face Dean Ambrose in a Contract on a Pole, No Holds Barred match. A contract will be on the line to face Seth Rollins in a Hell in a Cell match on the same night.

As announced on tonight's 10/6 WWE RAW, John Cena will face Dean Ambrose at the Hell in a Cell PPV on 10/26 in Dallas, Texas, where the winner will face Seth Rollins later that night inside the Hell in the Cell. 

Opinionated View- The reports are the loser will wind up facing Orton. Sadly I have a bad feeling Cena get to look super again.

Latest Details on WWE’s Hell in a Cell Plans

 As previously reported, WWE is planning to feature two Cell matches for the upcoming Hell in a Cell PPV. John Cena would face Dean Ambrose to open the show, with the winner facing Seth Rollins at the show. The loser would face Randy Orton in the other Cell match.

The Wrestling Observer reports that WWE hopes to finalize the Hell in a Cell plans this weekend, and make an announcement for the show on Raw this upcoming Monday.

Opinionated View- Again no win scenario either Cena buries Ambrose and Rollins or we get another freaking Cena vs Orton match.

Possible Plans Revealed For Hell in A Cell: 3 Top Matches Set?

WWE may have the three top matches for this year’s Hell in a Cell event figured out. No matches have been confirmed at the moment and the event is a month away. However, WWE is reportedly planning on having John Cena vs Dean Ambrose open the show. The winner would then fight Seth Rollins inside Hell in a Cell. The loser would go on to fight Randy Orton in another Cell match.

WWE World Heavyweight Champion Brock Lesnar isn’t booked for the show.

Opinionated View- Its the Kobayashi Maru from Star Trek IE the no win scenario. One the one hand Cena wins and beats both Ambrose and Rollins in one night. On the other hand we could get another Cena vs Orton match and that's the last thing we need.

Update On WWE Creative Plans for Hell In A Cell – Will Lesnar & Cena Face In The Cell?

Paul Heyman was not used on Raw last night because WWE has yet to decide if Brock Lesnar will be booked for the Hell in a Cell PPV.

At this time, Cena vs. Lesnar in a Hell in a Cell is not officially planned. Nothing is officially set for the PPV at this time, but Monday’s Raw should give us an idea of what direction they will be taking.

Opinionated View- A PPV where we don't' even know if world champion is going to appear. On the plus side at least we won't have to see another awful Cena vs Lesnar match.
