Two Divas Getting A Big Push?

WWE is planning pushes for Lana and Eva Marie. As previously reported, Eva Marie has been training with Brian Kendrick in NXT to improve her in-ring skills.

Opinionated View- Two hot women get pushed over wrestlers with talent and training in other news water is wet. And Eva is training if she is good for her but you know I keep being told how much insert what ever diva you want trains and it never makes a difference.

Update On Eva Marie WWE Hall Of Fame Reports

During WrestleMania 31 Weekend it was reported that Eva Marie would be hosting the WWE Hall of Fame ceremony instead of Jerry Lawler. This was reported by more than one source via PWInsider but Lawler later shot down the reports on Twitter and obviously ended up hosting the show. Dave Meltzer of The Wrestling Observer Newsletter notes that many people were talking about Eva hosting the Hall that weekend and it appears the original story of Eva hosting was right but WWE just changed their minds and put Lawler back as the host.

Two More Retuns Potential For Raw

Both Mark Henry and Eva Marie are backstage at Raw. Henry has been rumored to return for some time, and while not confirmed, will likely be part of the Andre the Giant Battle Royal at WrestleMania. Marie was taking part in photo shoots during the day.

Eva Marie May Be Disliked Because Of Total Divas

It was previously reported that Eva Marie is strongly disliked by some of her co-workers in WWE, with it being claimed that she is "passionately hated". Bryan Alvarez said in the latest edition of Figure Four Daily that this may be because of how she played herself on the scripted E! reality show. 

He wrote: "Even though Total Divas is a reality show and it's scripted, and most normal, rational people realize it's fake, there are people in WWE who watch that show and developed a very strong dislike for Eva Marie...having never met her in their life."

He added that her critics in the company decided she is "unlikable", which started "a movement to make her look foolish."

Two weeks ago, she had matches on RAW and Smackdown even though she had only wrestled once before that. Her performance brought in negative reviews online as her inexperience showed. Dave Meltzer claimed at the time that this reaction was intended as they wanted to knock her down some due to having an undeserved ego.

Eva Marie Set Up On RAW To Fail, Has Backstage Heat On Her

Eva Marie made her wrestling debut on RAW as she, JoJo and Natalya defeated Alicia Fox, Aksana and Rosa Mendes. Eva Marie's performance and inexperience were criticized online after the show. Before that match, she had only wrestled before a live crowd once, a non-televised tag team match at Summerslam Axxess in August. This is the reaction that WWE wanted as they purposely set her up to fail. WWE officials wanted to knock her down as they felt she had an undeserved ego and doesn't realize how much she needs to learn. They let her fail on WWE TV in order to make her humble. 

It was previously reported that the diva was "passionately hated" by some of her co-workers. This isn't the first time she had a prank pulled on her. In a segment filmed at a spring RAW show for the August 4 episode of Total Divas, she was made to believe that she did something wrong and Stephanie McMahon wanted to confront her over it. In the episode, the meeting was shown as her lying about her background to audition to be Fandango's dancer (which was a fake story created for the show). McMahon threatened to fire her if she embarrassed the company again with her behavior. Eva Marie cried during the meeting and had no idea it was set up as a prank or that McMahon was acting in character.

WWE High on Eva Marie

WWE officials are reportedly high on Eva Marie. The feeling is that she comes off like a star on television, and even if her wrestling abilities aren't there yet, most think that they simply need to find a steady TV role for her.

Heat on New WWE Diva?

While the storyline regarding Eva Marie lying to WWE officials about her dance background on Total Divas is scripted, there is said to be serious backstage heat on the new Diva backstage; she is said to be "passionately hated" by most employees in the company. Maria is reportedly the second-most disliked Diva in the locker room behind Cameron, with a source noting, "Cameron is an idiot, but everyone in the company already knows that so it's nothing new."

In addition, the storyline on Total Divas where Stephanie McMahon confronted Marie was said to be legitimate from Marie's side. While Stephanie was in character for the segment, in which Eva Marie was told to meet with her because she's done something very wrong, Marie's reaction was legitimate because she thought she was actually in trouble for something. Marie didn't know that Stephanie was entirely in character
