Total Divas Renewed For Fourth Season

- E! has announced that Total Divas has been renewed and will return this summer. The announcement revealed that the cast will be the same as last season, featuring The Bella Twins, Natalya, Naomi, Alicia Fox, Paige and Eva Marie.
The announcement reads, “Returning in its fourth season, E!, WWE®and Bunim-Murray Productions continue their look inside the lives of the women of the sports entertainment giant,” reads the press release. “Cameras once again showcase the professional and personal lives of the WWE Divas: The Bella Twins (Nikki and Brie Bella), Natalya (Nattie), Naomi, Alicia Fox, Paige, and Eva Marie.
“Between balancing family, maintaining romantic relationships and constantly fighting for the spotlight, the Divas are up against the odds. However, their unique lifestyles bring them together in a bond of sisterhood like no other. Total Divas is produced by WWE and Bunim/Murray Productions. Jonathan Murray, Gil Goldschein, Jeff Jenkins and Russell Jay are Executive Producers for Bunim/Murray Productions. Kevin Dunn is Executive Producer for WWE.”

Naomi’s Marriage Reportedly Caused Her Total Divas Exit

According to the Wrestling Observer Newsletter, Naomi has been removed from the Total Divas cast due to her marriage to Jimmy Uso. The site reports that the decision was made after the two became married due to a lack of storylines they could base around them.
The belief is that there was no longer much to do with them now that Naomi and Cameron are broken up as a team and that most of the “married couple issues” could be used with the other married couples in the cast

Traditional Survivor Series Match In The Works For Bella Twins

 A traditional Survivor Series elimination match is reportedly being planned for Nikki and Brie Bella. The two twins would captain teams of WWE Divas. They are set to fight at Hell in a Cell with the loser becoming the personal servant for thirty days. It would play on RAW and Smackdown with the loser eventually snapping and setting up the Survivor Series match. It would probably feature Total Divas stars with Brie Bella, Natalya, Rosa Mendes and Naomi on one team, and Nikki Bella, Summer Rae, Eva Marie and Cameron on the other.

Opinionated View- Oh god it just won't end. The Bellas feud has been awful and now you keep giving them more and more matches.

Why AJ Isn’t on Total Divas

The Wrestling Observer notes following the announcement today that Paige and Alicia Fox were joining Total Divas that the reason AJ Lee isn’t joining the show is simple: she’s married to CM Punk, who of course is done with WWE and doesn’t want to go back to wrestling.

Opinionated View- I also have to assume Punk wouldn't want to appear. He might be fine with AJ being on it but he would refused to be filmed or let cameras in his house.

Of course, the unexpected confrontation leads to explosive consequences. Meanwhile, Natalya is caught in a downward spiral when the truth is revealed to the Divas that her marriage to WWE Superstar Tyson Kidd is falling apart. In an attempt to help mend their relationship, The Bella Twins organize a night out, but when the infamous #BrieMode comes out in full force, the sisters are inevitably pushed further apart. Why Aren't The Total Diva Allowed to Hold the Divas Title

WWE does not want to put the Divas title on any current cast members of Total Divas. Cameron reportedly revealed the following on a recent interview with Chris Jericho on his Talk is Jericho podcast:

“The whole thing we have been fighting is being on the show (means) not being able to have a chance at the title.”

WWE officials reportedly do not want any of the cast members to hold the Divas title because there is a delay of several months between filming of the show and the footage airing on television. The concern is that audiences would be confused with the title situation due to the filming delay.

Opinionated View- How stupid does WWE think people are? Don't get me wrong outside of Natayla all the girls on Total Divas suck in the ring so I'm thrilled we haven't had another Bella title reign or heaven forbid one of the former Funk Sluts or Eva Marie. But do they really think people aren't smart enough to figure out a show that airs during summer but has snow in shots wasn't filmed months earlier?

WWE and the E! Network were already filming new material for the upcoming fall season of "Total Divas" in Cleveland this past week. The third season of the series will debut on E! on 9/7/14 with Rosa Mendes joining the cast.

Total Divas Gets Renewed For Third Season

Cameras will once again shadow Nikki and Brie Bella, Natalya, Naomi, Cameron and rookies Eva Marie and Summer Rae, giving viewers insight into how these women, who are on the road for 52 weeks a year, balance their personal lives while fighting for the spotlight. In addition, WWE Diva Rosa Mendes joins the cast, as the fiery Latina who has been around WWE for years has finally found herself in the limelight. Season two of "Total Divas" is currently airing all-new episodes every Sunday at 9 p.m. ET/8 p.m. CT.

One of E!'s most popular series, "Total Divas" currently averages 798,000 viewers in the 18-49 demo, with a total of 1.3 million viewers on average. Additionally, the series ranks as a cable top-five destination in its timeslot, Sundays 9-10 p.m., in the viewers 18-34 and women 18-34 demos. "Total Divas" is E!'s second-strongest original series of 2014 to date, following "Keeping Up with the Kardashians."

In season two, the drama has been taken to new levels as the Divas' popularity has grown. Nikki's relationship with her boyfriend, WWE Superstar John Cena, has been under a media microscope and their contradicting thoughts on marriage and starting a family have placed the couple in a deadlock.

Meanwhile, Brie has been eagerly planning her upcoming wedding to WWE Superstar Daniel Bryan, which will culminate in the "Total Divas" season finale airing Sunday, June 1, at 9 p.m. ET/8 p.m. CT.

For Naomi, this season has been a roller coaster, as she married the love of her life, WWE Superstar Jimmy Uso, struggled with the idea of motherhood, and dropped her very first single, "Dance All Night." In the remainder of the season, viewers will see Naomi face a career-threatening injury when she takes a blow from a fellow Diva during a televised match.

Similar to Naomi, fun-loving Natalya has faced several challenges in season two as she continues to find common ground in her first year of marriage to her husband Tyson Kidd, especially when it comes to money, in-laws and their lackluster romantic lives. Natalya has also struggled with newbie Summer Rae, who has become a key player in WWE, taking screen time away from the veteran Divas.

Natalya wasn't the only Diva who Summer had conflicts with as she went toe-to-toe with Brie, Nikki and, as viewers will come to see later this season, possible tag team partner Eva Marie. Away from work, Summer has been trying to get into the dating scene after a recent breakup left her yearning for companionship.

Sassy and saucy Cameron is also getting back to her music and dance roots as she gears up to release her first single. However, she is more focused on raising her celebrity status, which doesn't sit very well with her boyfriend.

Eva Marie opened up a closet full of secrets this season, each more shocking than the one before. Season two opened with the redheaded Diva revealing she secretly eloped with her longtime boyfriend Jonathan and some provocative modeling photos from her past surfaced, which spread quickly through the WWE locker room. Coming up, Eva continues to surprise and shows a side to her that none of the other Divas has seen before.

Former model and WWE Diva Rosa Mendes joins the cast for season three. A veteran of the Divas Division since 2006, Rosa has spent the past year with her eyes on the cast of "Total Divas." Now that she's one of them, there is no telling what may happen next.

On top of all the drama outside of the ring, Rosa and the rest of the Divas compete for a top spot, and the highly coveted Diva's title, at WrestleMania 30.

Cast Change to WWE Total Divas

Summer Rae will be added to the next season of "Total Divas" on the E! Network. JoJo will be dropped from the show going forward according to a new report.

Total Divas Star JoJo Said to be on Thin Ice with WWE

There are backstage rumors that WWE Diva JoJo could be on thin ice with the company. The fact that she was mostly ignored for the second half of the season of Total Divas and has also not been on WWE programming in recent weeks is said to be a bad sign about her future with the company. She is, however, continuing to appear at NXT events.

Opinionated View- A lot of people seem to rip Eva Marie and why I'm not defending Eva at least I know who she is Jo Jo I couldn't pick out of a line up. I also consulted my reality TV expert aka my sister who told me "I keep confusing her with the Funky girls"

Backstage Details on Potential Heel Turn for WWE Tag Team

WWE was discussing the idea of turning Tons of Funk heel, along with The Funkadactyls (Cameron and Naomi). However, with Total Divas being renewed for a second season, the show's production company reportedly put pressure on WWE not to turn the Funkadactyls heel because the show's producers want the duo to remain likable on TV. The current plan remains to turn Tensai and Brodus Clay heel in the near future to be featured as a top heel team in WWE.

Opinionated View- Well I would hope Tons of Funk turning heel would mean they would drop the stupid dancing gimmick. Than again this being WWE I could see them keeping a comedy gimmick like this going for a heel team. I don't think it will really help Albert is always going to be Albert we saw him look awful when he first returned and he hasn't gotten better. Clay maybe a heel turn would help we will have to see.

Now as for E! they do get wrestling isn't real right? They get that these people are playing a role and they could just explain that on there show? Also from what I hear a lot of the people that watch Total Divas aren't wrestling fans so they don't watch Raw or Smackdown.

Total Divas Likely to Get Second Season

- A new report indicates that Total Divas will likely get a second season renewal by the E! network, though no formal announcements have been made. The midseason return for the show last Sunday drew an average 1.3 million viewers. This is on par with the average viewership for the series after it debuted earlier in July 2013. WWE officials are reportedly confident that its numbers last Sunday night and from earlier this year will get the show another season.

Eva Marie May Be Disliked Because Of Total Divas

It was previously reported that Eva Marie is strongly disliked by some of her co-workers in WWE, with it being claimed that she is "passionately hated". Bryan Alvarez said in the latest edition of Figure Four Daily that this may be because of how she played herself on the scripted E! reality show. 

He wrote: "Even though Total Divas is a reality show and it's scripted, and most normal, rational people realize it's fake, there are people in WWE who watch that show and developed a very strong dislike for Eva Marie...having never met her in their life."

He added that her critics in the company decided she is "unlikable", which started "a movement to make her look foolish."

Two weeks ago, she had matches on RAW and Smackdown even though she had only wrestled once before that. Her performance brought in negative reviews online as her inexperience showed. Dave Meltzer claimed at the time that this reaction was intended as they wanted to knock her down some due to having an undeserved ego.

WWE Reportedly Disappointed by Brie Bella’s Face Turn

- WWE is reportedly disappointed and confused by the fact that Brie Bella is not over more as a face. The company felt that she would get a lot of sympathy during the attack by Tamina Snuka on Raw.

The feeling is that Brie comes off very likable on Total Divas, but the issues there are that the audience for that show is mostly women who do not watch or attend Raw. There is also the fact that Brie went from a heel that mocked the faces to a face with no real turn.

Opinionated View- Well lets be honest Brie is awful and not just in the ring there is no connection with the fans as a heel or a face. And just saying "She engaged to Daniel Bryan" isn't enough to make the fans cheer her.

Eva Marie Set Up On RAW To Fail, Has Backstage Heat On Her

Eva Marie made her wrestling debut on RAW as she, JoJo and Natalya defeated Alicia Fox, Aksana and Rosa Mendes. Eva Marie's performance and inexperience were criticized online after the show. Before that match, she had only wrestled before a live crowd once, a non-televised tag team match at Summerslam Axxess in August. This is the reaction that WWE wanted as they purposely set her up to fail. WWE officials wanted to knock her down as they felt she had an undeserved ego and doesn't realize how much she needs to learn. They let her fail on WWE TV in order to make her humble. 

It was previously reported that the diva was "passionately hated" by some of her co-workers. This isn't the first time she had a prank pulled on her. In a segment filmed at a spring RAW show for the August 4 episode of Total Divas, she was made to believe that she did something wrong and Stephanie McMahon wanted to confront her over it. In the episode, the meeting was shown as her lying about her background to audition to be Fandango's dancer (which was a fake story created for the show). McMahon threatened to fire her if she embarrassed the company again with her behavior. Eva Marie cried during the meeting and had no idea it was set up as a prank or that McMahon was acting in character.

WWE officials are reportedly high on Eva Marie. The feeling is that she comes off like a star on television, and even if her wrestling abilities aren't there yet, most think that they simply need to find a steady TV role for her.

Backstage Reaction to the AJ Lee Promo on Raw and Where it Will Lead

The backstage reaction to AJ Lee's promo on Raw was said to be very positive, with many raving about her work. The angle was shot to be part of the next set of Total Divas shows. They shot an angle backstage afterwards, with the other divas giving their reaction to the promo. As of now, the plan is for Lee to defend her Divas Title at Night of Champions against one of the members of the Total Divas cast, with footage being shot during the build for the show.

Who Does WWE View as The Top Divas in the Company?

- While Kaitlyn and AJ Lee have been feuding over the WWE Divas Title, at this time the Bella Twins are viewed as the top Divas in WWE right now. Part of that reason is the success of Total Divas, which has helped their stock rise.

Opinionated View- Well this isn't shocking it's sad but not shocking. I've made it clear I hate the Bellas and it's clear they have no passion for this business. They got in it to get fame they left to try other things and only came back for that shitty reality show.
