Eric Bischoff Will Be Part Of Global Force Wrestling

During a Q&A session with Jeff Jarrett for Preston City Wrestling, Eric Bischoff revealed that he will be working with Global Force Wrestling. When Karen Jarrett asked if he would be involved, both Bischoff and Jeff Jarrett confirmed he would. They added that they are in the “early stages” of launching GFW. The first TV tapings will happen on July 24 from Las Vegas, Nevada.

Opinionated View- I say this is a good move. Bischoff is very smart and knows the wreslting business also he doesn't seem to fit the mold of old bitter booker. Plus I was legit worried they would hire someone like Cornette.

Eric Bischoff is Still Involved With TNA Creative

According to Pwinsider.com, Vince Russo is not the only name consulting with TNA creative. Eric Bischoff is still under a TNA deal and also doing storyline consulting. Word is that both men have approximately three months left on their deals.

Eric Bischoff working at home, notes regarding his son and business partner, talent meeting held at Impact

-TNA executive producer was not at the Bound For Glory pay-per-view or Thursday's TNA Impact Wrestling television event in Salt Lake City, Utah. Dixie Carter and John Gaburick held a talent meeting on Thursday and stated that Bischoff will be working from home. An attempt to get a comment from Bischoff on the matter was not successful.

-Bischoff's production company partner Jason Hervey was at both Bound For Glory and Impact performing his usual duties. Likewise, Garett Bischoff appeared at both events.

-TNA on-air personality Jeremy Borash also spoke at the meeting an offered a demonstration on filming on camera phones for the upcoming 24/7 project the company is working on.

- As previously reported, Erich Bischoff was not at the Impact taping tonight. Bischoff was also not in attendance at Bound for Glory. Talent was told during the afternoon meeting on Thursday that Bischoff would be "working from home," which many thought was a diplomatic way of saying he was departing. There's no official word on if he's actually gone or not.

Opinionated View- I guess we will just have to wait and see sometimes working from home really means working from home. Could be next TV taping he could be back.

Big Name Not At Impact Tonight

Eric Bischoff is reportedly not backstage at tonight's Impact Wrestling. According to two sources, Bischoff is not expected to be back with TNA in the near future and that several people are happy with the news. Why Bischoff is no longer around has not been revealed. Bischoff has overseen the creative aspects of the company and had been heavily in charge of that over recent months.

Opinionated View- Let me say this there very well could be a reason for Bischoff not being there that doesn't mean he's gone. He could with his wife and or daughter. He could be taking a break just to relax or he could working one of his other projects. I just want to say that since we all know Bischoff loves to fire back at that net when they are wrong. 

As for him leaving I've thought TNA has done a lot of good things since he took over creative so if he does leave lets see they can keep it up. 

Eric Bischoff Disputes Reports on His TNA Contract

Eric Bischoff sent out the following tweets disputing a report earlier this week by Dave Meltzer in The Wrestling Observer Newsletter that his TNA contract expires in early 2014.

Proving once again that so many wrestling "news" sites are a joke, reports of my (BHE's) contract w TNA expiring in 2014 is bullshit. But these sites and the scum that live off them by publishing b.s. as fact is nothing new.

Update on Hulk Hogan’s Status With TNA

At last night's TNA Impact tapings, the promotion shot an angle which could end up being the final appearance of Hulk Hogan in TNA.

It had already been reported that Hogan's contract expires at the beginning of October. The two sides had been in negotiations for a new deal, but nothing has been signed. Last night's appearance was the final one scheduled under the old contract. If this is it for Hogan in TNA, his final appearance will be next week's Impact Wrestling on October 3rd.

TNA is in the process of re-evaluating every talent contract and employee after taking Impact Wrestling on the road did not lead to increased revenue. The company has been making changes for months. Hogan has the most expensive contract in the company, and similar to AJ Styles, Ken Anderson and Mickie James where the two sides were apart on what each side wants. Styles opted to sign an extension through December, while Anderson and James are gone.

For several months there had been talk that Hogan was unhappy with TNA, especially after his daughter Brooke was let go by the promotion. Hogan was reportedly upset that he was not informed about her release and felt that he should have been the one to inform his daughter. There was also talk that Hogan wasn't happy that Brooke relocated from Florida to Nashville with the idea that Dixie Carter would use her contacts to help her break into the country music scene, which never happened.

During a fan Q&A in Toronto, Hogan knocked the promotion in a roundabout way, stating that what they needed was "real leadership" (meaning Eric Bischoff) and an "unlimited checkbook" in order to accomplish everything the company needed. Most felt that these comments were a "slap in the face" to Dixie Carter, even if Hogan hadn't meant them. Other sources stated that Bischoff had pretty much "been given the keys to the kingdom" but that the company had shown no growth, and that some revenue streams were even doing worse.

With Hogan's possible departure, many are wondering what will happen with Bischoff. He could remain with the promotion, but many feel that he will remain loyal to Hogan. Jeff Jarrett was working backstage at the St. Louis TNA tapings and was also at last night's tapings in Little Rock. Jarrett has taken a more active role in TNA business in recent weeks, which could be a sign that he's preparing for a much larger role.

Eric Bischoff Comments on Recent Reports on Hulk Hogan

Eric Bischoff has issued a number of tweets responding to a report by Dave Meltzer this week (later picked up my numerous wrestling media outlets) regarding Hulk Hogan and Take-Two Interactive.

Interesting to read the "choir of idiots" suggesting that Hulk did a deal with 2K Sports. Illustrates just how ignorant these "experts" are

And how these "experts" are attempting to frame a narrative to sell thier b.s.

There is no Hulk Hogan/2K Sports deal. WWE is simply utilizing tradmarks/assets they currently own in a repackaged video game. Nothing new.

But thats not what the parasites and morons who run dirt sites want you to know.
