King Mo Lawal scored a TKO win at Bellator 123. Lawal landed a big right hand in the second round and than ground and pounded his way to the victory. The win improves Lawal's MMA to 13-4 with 1 No Contest.
Opinionated View- I actually thought Mo was over striking and was going to leave him open to the upset but the guy got the job done. Its a much needed win for Mo who has struggled since coming Bellator. Now will see if Mo returns to TNA.

King Mo and Lashley Return to MMA Tonight
Current TNA Champion Lashley make his return to MMA debuting at Bellator 123 tonight (9/5) live on Spike TV from Mohegan Sun Arena in Uncasville, CT. Lashley (10-2) will face Josh Burns (8-7) in a heavyweight fight. Also fighting on the card will be King Mo Lawal (12-4 1 NC) who will fight Dustin Jacoby (10-3)
Opinionated View- Both Lashley and Lawal should win but that doesn't always happen. For Mo a loss would pretty much end any talk of him as an elite MMA fighter. Lashley needs a win based on the fact he's already 38 and in 12 pro fights hasn't made a big impression. For TNA Lashley losing especially a stoppage loss would undo all that build they have given Lashley.

Kim Mo Returning to TNA
- King Mo has been training in Las Vegas with Kenny King and he will be on TNA TV a lot more this summer. Mo appeared at the TNA New York City tapings.
Opinionated View- Problem is a lot of luster has come off Mo in the MMA world he's been a win one lose one fighter in Bellator. I also don't know how many non MMA fans will remember who he is given he hasn't been on TNA in over a year. Add into that both Rampage and Tito Ortiz also signed with TNA tang some of the spark out of the full-time MMA fighter and full time wrestler.
Don't get me wrong Mo has potential but TNA is going to have work on this.

Are Rampage and King Mo Returning to TNA?
The Wrestling Observer Newsletter reports that Quinton Rampage Jackson will be returning to Impact Wrestling in the coming months and is expected to begin training for pro wrestling in the very near future.
There is expected to be a big angle on Impact Wrestling featuring “Rampage” and King Mo to promote their upcoming fight.
Opinionated View- Honestly I've stopped caring about Rampage and Mo. It will most and likely be the like the Rampage and Tito stuff they will appear on than get pulled to protect the fight.

King Mo Loses Fight at Bellator 106
King Mo lost his second fight with Emmanuel Newton at Belllator 106. The TNA contracted fighter managed to win the first round with some good takedown but was rocked in round two. After that it was all down hill as all three judge gave it to Newton.
Opinionated View- It's a huge setback for Mo's fighting career. Newton now goes on to fight the Bellator light heavyweight champion for the title. Will Mo finally return to TNA or will he be put back in another tournament.

TNA Talent Suffers Injury Forced To Pull Out of Bellator MMA Fight
TNA contracted talent Tito Ortiz has suffered a neck injury forcing him to pull out his Bellator fight with fellow TNA talent Rampage Jackson. The card with also features King Mo has been moved from PPV and instead will air for free on Spike TV. Jackson will not be fighting on the card.
Opinionated View- Well this is a much bigger deal for Bellator than TNA. A neck injury means Tito won't be wrestling anytime soon either. As for Rampage I guess his return depends on what Bellator/Viacom want to do. They could find Jackson another fight soon or they could put him back on TNA.

Dixie Carter Explains Why Rampage Jackson is on TNA TV But Not King Mo
Opinionated View- I'd also like to add that I remember a report a while back that plans changed when Mo lost in previous tournament and Spike decided they wanted him to fight in the summer one.

King Mo Wins Easily, Rampage's First Bellator Fight Set
TNA Star "King Mo" Muhammed Lawal dominated Jacob Noe at Bellator 97 to win the light heavyweight tournament and earn a title shot. Lawal used his world class wrestling to take Noe down time and again following it up with brutal ground and pound before getting the stoppage in third round. Mo's title shot will have to wait and current Bellator Light Heavyweight Champion Attila Vegh still has to face Emanuel Newton who won the last light heavyweight tournament upsetting Mo along the way.
Meanwhile Quinton "Rampage" Jackson announced he be fighting fellow former UFC champion Tito Ortiz at Bellator 105 witch will take place in November and will be the first PPV Bellator will ever do.
Opinionated View- Its a huge win for Mo who lost a lot of momentum after the Newton loss. It was nice to see Mo again use his wrestling to secure a win. While has showed good striking at time he's lost a few fights by getting away from his wrestling. As for Rampage vs Tito Dana White is laughing so hard right now I can hear him in Nebraska.
But I guess this does lend credence to my buddy's Patrick Kelly's theory that Tito is the #August1Warning guy
TNA Star King Mo Fights in Bellator Tonight
King Mo Lawal fights Jacob Noe in the Bellator Light Heavyweight Tournament finals tonight in Albuquerque, New Mexico at the Santa Ana Star Center. Noe has a record of 12-2.
Opinionated View- This is an important fight for Mo since a win gives him a title shot. Why he is the odds are favorite to the win fight in MMA upsets happen all the time.

TNA’s King Mo Says He Will Retire Jacob Noe at Bellator 97
King Mo recently spoke about his upcoming fight with Jacob Noe at Bellator 97. Mo is not a fan of Mr. Noe as you can see below…
"I don't like him. I don't like the gym he trains at. He's fake. He talks a lot of trash behind my back, and I hope that he's here listening, or ya'll can tell him this because I'm going to beat the brakes off of him. I'm going to whoop his ass so bad I'm going to retire him. I'm going to make sure he goes back crying to his family again because last time we both lost, he was crying, talking about how he misses his family. I'm going to make sure that happens again. I can't stand the dude. I can't stand anybody that's affiliated with him. I'm going to punish this dude. I'm serious."

King MO Lawal Wins in Latest MMA Fight
TNA Star King Mo Lawal made his successful return to the Bellator MMA Cage winning via knockout in just over a minute and a half defeating Seth Petruzelli. Mo used more wrestling than he had in his two previous Bellator fights. After taking Petruzelli down Lawal hit a single powerful punch to end the fight. Lawal will face Jacob Noe on July 31st in the finals of the four man light heavyweight tournament.
Opinionated View- You gotta think TNA is happy why Bealltor and Spike can build anyone who wins into a new star TNA needs Mo to be successful to bill him a two sports star.

Petruzelli (14-7 MMA) is famous for defeating Kimbo Slice in 14-seconds back in 2008 at the EliteXC: Heat event.
Opinionated View- Honestly Mo should be the favorite to win the tournament as he was last time but this is MMA and upsets happen
