More Details on Kassius Ohno's WWE Release

- While there were several reports that WWE was not happy with Kassiu Ohno's physique, there looks to be another reason which may have played a part in his release.

According to reports, Ohno was not happy with his position in NXT and reportedly told co-workers that he didn't understand why he was not being elevated higher than those he thought he was better than. The remarks made their way back to management, and combined with the issues with his physique and the fact that he is already 33 years old, the decision was made to release him. 

Opinionated View- If this is true than Hero/Ohno was 100% dead on correct. He was better than plenty of guys that were on the main roster and should have been called up.

Chris Hero Set For DG:USA Show This Weekend

- Dragon Gate Has announced that Chris Hero will have his second post-WWE booking this Sunday in Brooklyn, New York at their show. The promotion revealed that more details will be available soon; they are reworking their current card to include Hero.

The lineup before Hero stood as follows:

Chris Hero/Kassius Ohno Makes First Statement Since Leaving the WWE

Recently released NXT performer Chris Hero (Kassius Ohno) posted today on his Facebook his first comments since being released by WWE this past Friday.

Here is an excerpt from the post:

"There are a lot of ways I can look at this and, honestly, it won't serve me at all to be anything BUT positive and optimistic. I could sulk. I could point fingers. I could feel sorry for myself. Or, I could channel all my energy into getting back out there, kicking some ass and taking things to the next level. Once upon a time, a close friend of mine named Claudio Castagnoli was released from WWE. Another good friend, Colt Cabana, got his walking papers. The 'Best in the World' Bryan Danielson had his contract 'terminated'. TWICE. These three guys are all CRAZY talented and, on all accounts, are doing rather well for themselves right now, eh? I'm leaving WWE on good terms so, if it's meant to be, I'm sure I will be back. If it's not meant to be, I can guarantee you that I will still be trotting all over the globe doing what I love (and what I'm damn good at) at the highest level possible."

Chris Hero faces Adam Cole for the PWG World Title on Night One of All Star Weekend 10!

This will be Chris Hero's first match for PWG since his run in WWE developmental as Kassius Ohno. The match happens on December 20 in Reseda, California. The winner of Hero/Cole will fight Johnny Gargano the next night, December 21.

Adam Cole is the PWG and Ring of Honor World Champion. He is the third-longest reigning champion in PWG history with 335 days, falling behind Chris Hero and Joey Ryan (406 days). Hero held the belt for 425 days in 2008 and 2009, losing it to Daniel Bryan.

More on Kassius Ohno/Chris Hero Being Cut By WWE, Already Booked For Indy Shows

There were reportedly a few people on the main WWE roster who were surprised by the recent announcement of Kassius Ohno's release from the company. This also came after there was word making the rounds that Triple H praised the Ohno/Luke Harper match that recently aired on NXT when it was filmed in Florida.

- Kassius Ohno will now be returning to his former ring name of Chris Hero, and he's already been announced for upcoming appearances for a number of indy wrestling promotions. PWG announced on Twitter that Hero will be competing for the company as part of their All Star Weekend on December 10. 

PWS in New Jersey announced Chris Hero vs. Hurricane Helms for their November 16 event. 

A number of other indy promotions are also reportedly looking to book Hero as well, so he likely won't have trouble finding bookings for a while. 

In addition, the term Kassius Ohno was trending on Twitter after news broke of his WWE release.

Opinionated View- I still can't believe they let this guy go. Amazing in the ring one of the very best on the microphone. I mean washed up Goldust has a title, Big Show and Kane are getting push number 6,393,582, Big E and Ryback suck and will never get any better yet it's Hero/KO that gets cut. TNA, ROH, someone in Japan or Mexico call this guy and make some money off of him.

Kassius Ohno aks Chris Hero Released By WWE

Kassius Ohno, who was better known on the independent wrestling scene as Chris Hero, was quietly released by WWE on Friday. Ohno had been part of the NXT roster.

According to a report by Mike Johnson, Ohno was given his release shortly before beginning his training on Friday morning. He signed a developmental deal with WWE in 2012. Pro Wrestling Syndicate has already booked him under his former ring name of Chris Hero for an upcoming event on 11/16 against former WCW and WWE star Shane "Hurricane" Helms.

Opinionated View- What a waste of a great talent! I'm sure there was left over heat for BS reasons they had for pulling him from NXT TV. Free tip to any booker out there give this guy a call and what ever time he wants on the microphone and in the ring and you will give the people there money's worth. 

Kassius Ohno Still Has Heat On Him

NXT star Kassius Ohno still has heat on him with WWE management. He was pulled from several TV tapings because he wasn't taking his workouts seriously and wasn't improving his physique. Ohno is currently putting over other wrestlers at live NXT events and has been removed from the intro of NXT's show on Hulu.

Opinionated View- All I can say is what a load of bull shit! Make no mistake WWE has never change yeah guys like Bryan and Rollins will get pushes but for the most part they only want guys with a body builder look. FUCK YOU WWE. It's bad enough this amazing talent is in NXT when you got slugs like Ryback or Kane or Big Show all getting big pushes now your not even using this guy on the NXT TV show? Update on Kassius Ohno's NXT Status

- Earlier today it was reported that Kassius Ohno (Chris Hero) has been removed from the opening video for the NXT show. Ohno was not used at the latest TV tapings, and word is that officials are keeping him off TV until he focuses on getting his body into better shape. It had been previously reported that officials have been upset with Ohno's lack of focus conditioning and training.


Opinionated View- Unless the guy has really let himself go his conditioning was always fine on the Indy scene and I remember the early reports were more about weight training. It sounds WWE is upset Hero didn't bulk up and be like everyone else on there roster.

Update On Kassius Ohno's Heat With Management

It had been previously reported that Kassius Ohno (formerly Chris Hero) has heat with WWE management due to the fact that he hasn't taken WWE's instructions seriously in regards to his physique.

Ohno was pulled from the recent NXT TV tapings and some live events, and was instructed that he needs to concentrate his efforts on his physique and his strength/conditioning training. As far as his in ring work, mic work and attitude; he has been receiving very good reviews. WWE officials have stated that he will not be brought up to the main roster until he gets in better physical shape.

Ohno is back on WWE NXT live events, including tonight's show in Tampa, Florida.

Opinionated View- In other words bulk up kid WWE only wants body builder types.

NXT Star Allegedly Pulled From Shows And Has Push Stopped By Triple H

According to reports Kassius Ohno (Chris Hero) has been removed from the last two NXT tapings and his current push was stopped by WWE executive Triple H.

The reason is that he has been hesitant during weight training sessions while WWE management has asked him several times to work on his physique while they prepare a story for his main roster debut. When Triple H found out about his "lack of dedication" to cutting weight, he was removed from TV and plans to bring him to the main roster were put on hold.

Opinionated View- If this is true that it shows what a fucking idiot Triple H is. Ohno's body is fine the guy is very fit and given his style his body type works fine. Of course this is WWE where not talents like Henry are given six thousands chance because they an pick up heavy stuff.
