CZW News and Notes: Tournament of Death Set, Live PPV's coming
Combat Zone Wrestling is currently planning to have several live PPVs on providers like InDemand, starting with Cage of Death in December. However, it’s possible that another show could happen before that. Announcements will likely be made in the next few weeks.

CZW Best of the Best 2015 Results 4.11.15
Show opens with DJ Hyde bringing up Matt Sheppard, a long time behind the scenes worker at CZW who’s working his last show tonight before being deployed to Afghanistan, to thank him. He then made sure to mention today is a sad anniversary as it’s 4 years since Larry Sweeney passed away. RIP #12Large
Match 1: Tommy End def Caleb Konley & Aaron Williams. Caleb is eliminated by Aaron with a cradle piledriver and Tommy eliminates Aaron with a deadlift German suplex to advance tot he semis.
Match 2: Jonathan Gresham def Tracy Williams & Trevor Lee. Tracy hits a superplex on Lee who rolls through and gets the pin with a small package. Gresham hits Lee with the ink mist and Trevor tries to roll him up as well but Jon turns it over to move on.
Match 3: CJP def Joey Janela & Joe Gacy. Tim Donst is in Gacy’s corner and David Starr comes out to shit talk Tim. Gacy eliminates Janela after a Canadian Destroyer and lariat. Starr then returns and hits Gacy with a chair leading to a palm strike by CJP who advances.
Match 4: ‘Speedball’ Mike Bailey def ‘Dirty’ Buxx Belmar vs Andrew Everett. Typical Buxx grossness. Everett eliminates Buxx with a 630 splash but is immediately eliminated himself by Bailey with the Shooting Star Knees to move on.
Post match DJ Hyde comes out and sets up Everett vs Trevor Lee for next month. He also announces a return to The Arena in July and the first 2 names for TOD in June: Matt Tremont and Josh Crane.
Match 5: Ultraviolent Scaffold match: Devon Moore def ‘Wrench’ Conor Claxton. This is the second match in Wrench’s deathmatch trial series and both guys bled before they even got in the ring. Claxton is amazing and only getting better and not only is he a fantastic deathmatch wrestler but he’s CZW’s Dojo Wars Tournament of Valor champion and excels at straight up wrestling as well. These guys killed each other and Dev finally won after putting a barbed wire board over Conor and coming off the scaffold with a senton on to it. Post match, Deej comes back out as the crowd chants for Conor to be in TOD. He agrees to let him in on one condition: Wrench vs DJ in the first round. He then tells him to prepare for his final trial match next month against Danny Havoc and to prepare for panes of glass.
Match 6: Jonathan Gresham def Tommy End. Lots of mat wrestling and Gresham advances to the final after submitting Tommy with a figure four after working over his leg most of the match.
Match 7: Mike Bailey def CJP. CJ comes out and says Drake Younger, Sami Callihan and Jon Moxley told him all about the Combat Zone and now that he’s here…..it fucking sucks. Parker is a terrific douchey heel and this might’ve been the match of the night and Speedball goes on to the finals.
Match 8: Tag Team Title match: Nation of Intoxication (Danny Havoc and Lucky 13) vs OI4K ended in a no contest. This match was great and surpassed the one they had last month until Eric Ryan ran in, Devon Moore came out to help and got a fireball to the face for his troubles and OI4K said they’re the best, everyone else sucks and Dave Crist pulled his pants down was going to piss on the tag belts until they got run off. Shitty ending to what was a really enjoyable match.
After this, Alexander James came out to talk about his ‘stolen’ title and the moment everyone wondered about happened: The King is back. Nick Gage returned, bitched at a girl in the crowd, threatened various fans and said he was back to take over. Matt Tremont came out and Gage said he was unimpressed. BLK Jeez came out and said as champ, he’s the new king of CZW. Lots of insults and a small pull apart (not involving Nick) happened and that was that.
Match 9: BOTB Finals: Mike Bailey def Jonathan Gresham. Lots of slow chain wrestling to start then things picked up quick with a ton of heel moves by Gresham including spitting the ink mist at Speedball and chopping him in the balls. Gresham murdered Mike’s leg but he fought back and hit the shooting star knees for the win to become the Best of the Best 14 Champion.

CJ Parker Booked For CZW Best of the Best
The following was issued by CZW.
CZW Officials have just confirmed the final entry into Best of the Best 14 for April 11th. Replacing Ruckus in this year's tournament will be former WWE NXT Superstar CJP. CJP is currently one of the hottest free agents in professional wrestling today and will be looking to make a huge impact by entering the Combat Zone fresh off his stint in Orlando, Florida.
As noted, CJP will be replacing Ruckus in the opening round match against Joey Janela and CZW Wired Champion Joe Gacy. Stay logged onto CZWrestling.com as we will look at CJP's tale of the tape.

CZW Deja Vu iPPV Results 3.14.15
Show opens with the Hall of Fame introduction that got delayed from last month due to the weather. Ruckus and Robbie Moreno. Robbie brought his little boy in the ring and gave an amazing, heartfelt speech. Really nice moment.
* Match #1: Junior Heavyweight title match: Greg Excellent w/ Chrissy Rivera vs. Alexander James. Tons of chants for Andrew Wolf but AJ says he fired him. A belt shot that hard way busted open James by his security guys and Greg Excellent is the new plus sized Junior Heavyweight champion.
* Match #2: ‘Wrench’ Conor Claxton vs. Lucky 13. This is the first match in Wrench’s
death match trial series to become a full-fledged member of the Nation of Intoxication and he bled buckets. Lucky curb stomped Wrench into a thumbtack pit. Wrench tomb stoned Lucky onto a chair. Finally after a GTS and Shining Wizard, Lucky makes Wrench tap to a cloverleaf. Post match, Danny Havoc and Devon Moore come out and Havoc puts over Wrench saying he was impressive and next month he has match 2 again Dev.
BLK Jeez out to talk. He has a Mohawk now. He gives a title shot to Matt Tremont.
* Match #3: Pepper Parks vs. Drew Gulak. Parks takes it to Drew and Gulak eventually slams him all over the ring, into the ropes and picks up the win.
* Match #4: Buxx Belmar vs. Bill Carr. This was really sort of ruined by Buxx’s gross shit. He needs to drop this stuff, it really takes away from his actual talent. After some disgusting antics, Carr legit threw up and Buxx rolled him up for the win. Carr puked a second time after the match.
* Match #5: Wired Title Match: Joe Gacy vs. John Silver with Rex Lawless-Silver. Silver his the Toss twice on Gacy. Gacy does a handspring stunner and throws Silver literally into the first row of the crowd. He retains, tapping Silver out.
David Starr returns after quitting CZW 3 months ago. Says he quit to stick up for his best friends (JT Dunn and Kimber Lee) but he’s back for himself. Speedball Mike Bailey comes out and a match breaks out!
* Match #6: ‘Speedball’ Mike Bailey vs. David Starr. Bailey needs to win BOTB. He wins with shooting star knees from the top.
* Match #7: Sozio vs. Eric Corvis. After tons of interference, Corvis wins. Post match, Sozio gets ‘whacked’ with a SICK chair shot.
* Match #8: Tag Team Title Match: OI4K vs. Danny Havoc and Devon Moore. Fantastic match, if a little short. Post match, Havoc calls OI4K the best team on the indys and asks for a rematch out of respect. OI4K grant it to everyone’s approval.
* Match #9: No Rope Barbed Wire: Matt Tremont vs. Stockade. Both men bled but Tremont gushed. This was brutal with chairs, a ladder, a barbed wire board and cinder blocks. These guys killed each other and themselves. Matt wins after a death valley driver onto the cinder blocks.

CZW Sixteen Anniversery Show Results
The show opened with Larry Legend bringing out the returning Danny Havoc with Conor ‘Wrench’ Claxton. Havoc reminisced about being back in the Arena and talked about mentoring Wrench and said he’s taught him all he can and over the next three shows, Wrench will be facing a deathmatch trial series starting off next month against Lucky 13. Havoc then talked about being out for the last six months after badly breaking his ankle. He said it was nearly a career ending injury but he’s finally back and, in a bonus ultraviolent match after the main event, the Nation of Intoxication will be facing each other.
Match #1: ‘Dirty’ Buxx Belmar defeated Pepper Parks w/Cherry Bomb to earn a spot in Best of the Best 14.
Match #2: In another BOTB qualifying match, and significant upset, Dojo Wars regular, ‘The Bad Boy’ Joey Janela defeated for CZW World champion, Sozio.
Match #3: Kyle Francis brings out Alex Colon to talk about breaking Preacher’s neck. Colon refuses to take responsibility for it and issues an open challenge saying he could break the neck of anyone in the locker room. The challenge is answered by Drew Gulak who not only shows Colon he can’t break his neck but kicks his ass in the process. Gulak has turned into a beast.
Match #4: In an ultraviolent match, Stockade defeated Matt Tremont. After the match, Tremont challenged Stockade to a rematch next month in a No Rope, Barbed Wire match.

Match #6: In a six man, elimination tables match, John Silver last eliminated Dan Berry to win for his team of himself, Rex Lawless-Silver and (subbing for Alex Reynolds who couldn’t make it due to the weather) younger brother, Chuck Taylor-Silver over Berry, Bill Carr and Dick Justice.
Match #7: CZW World Heavyweight champion, BLK Jeez defeats ‘The Dirty Daddy’ Chris Dickinson in a brutally hard hitting match. Dickinson cuts an angry, bitter promo after the match wanting a rematch next month.
Match #8: CZW Tag Team Champions, OI4K retained over the Young Bucks in an awesome match that even featured referee Dan Yost getting in on the action with a dive to all four men on the outside. He was then the guest of honor at a four man superkick party. Bucks got a loud and deserved ‘Please come back’ chant.
Match #9: This was the bonus ultraviolent match between the members of the Nation of Intoxication. Angry fans flooded Twitter once it was discovered that, despite announcing the match to open the show and the StreamCZW twitter saying you could watch the match as part of the IPPV, the match was NOT going to air to fans watching the stream. It wasn’t even properly announced. Word spread through re-tweets after a fan commented on the match to the CZW twitter and was told the match wasn’t going to be airing and would ‘most likely’ be part of the DVD. Considering it was the wildly popular Havoc’s first match back in six months, the decision to not air it pissed off a ton of fans.
Lucky 13 defeated Devon Moore and Danny Havoc after powerbombing Moore from the top rope onto Havoc.

Match #2: In another BOTB qualifying match, and significant upset, Dojo Wars regular, ‘The Bad Boy’ Joey Janela defeated for CZW World champion, Sozio.
Match #3: Kyle Francis brings out Alex Colon to talk about breaking Preacher’s neck. Colon refuses to take responsibility for it and issues an open challenge saying he could break the neck of anyone in the locker room. The challenge is answered by Drew Gulak who not only shows Colon he can’t break his neck but kicks his ass in the process. Gulak has turned into a beast.
Match #4: In an ultraviolent match, Stockade defeated Matt Tremont. After the match, Tremont challenged Stockade to a rematch next month in a No Rope, Barbed Wire match.

The Young Bucks To Challenge For the CZW Tag Titles
The Young Bucks are working for Combat Zone Wrestling on 2/21 when CZW returns
to Voorhees, NJ at the Flyers Skate Zone, challenging Tag
Team
champions Ohio is 4 Killers, Jake & Dave Crist. The Crists beat TNA’s Wolves
at the Cage of Death in December. The original plan for that show was The Bucks,
so CZW is getting to do the bout now. The show will be a live iPPV at www.StreamCZW.com and will be
headlined by CZW champion BLK Jeez vs. Chris Dickinson. Stockade from NYWC is
now in here and will be facing Matt Tremont on 3/21. Good to see Stockade
starting to get some notice outside of Long Island as he’s always been a good
brawler. CZW is running their next “Dojo Wars” event on 1/28.
Opinionated View- That should be a pretty good match. Please TNA, ROH, WWE someone sign Ohio is 4 Killers they are a great tag team. I don't think the Young Bucks have ever worked CZW before hopefully this will bring some more views to a very good indy company.

Match 1: Speedball Mike Bailey defeats Alex Colon with a shooting star knee drop.

CZW 11/08/14 Night of Infamy 2014 iPPV Results
Show opens with David Starr getting an open mic: he immediately gets

guys trying to out do each other. Starr thrust his junk into Gulak’s
face, Drew slaps the shit out of him then powerbombs him and sits on

WWNLive Launches New Roku Channel
- WWNLive.com has officially launched its own channel on Roku. The channel is reportedly available now in the “New Channels” section for Roku.
Through the Roku channel, fans will have access to purchase CZW, DGUSA, SHIMMER, SHINE, FIP and other streaming events. Kayfabe Commentaries will also be available. In addition, WWNLive is offering a free, one-hour preview show.
It is possible to synch the channel with an existing WWNLive.com account. This can be accomplished by ordering an event that has already been purchased, and then putting in a code that comes up on the Roku channel into the pre-existing WWNLive account. PWinsider reports that this will synch the account and allow users to play what has previously been ordered.
