WSU Anniversary Results
The show started about 20 minutes late due to the State Athletic Commission doctor not arriving in time due to bad weather. Said weather has also taken its toll on the crowd, which is pretty thin tonight at the 2300 Arena.
Jenny Rose defeated Brittany Blake. A solid opener that saw the youngster Blake put in a great performance, one of her best yet. Good way to start the show.
Tessa Blanchard defeated Sassy Stephie. A fun match, with Stephie’s cronies Madamoiselle Rachelle and Amber Rodriguez at ringside. Tessa initially got the pin with a springboard bulldog but the referee restarted the match after he found brass knuckles in Tessa’s boot (which had been put there by Rachelle while the referee was distracted). The match was restarted and Tessa got a second pin anyway almost immediately. .
Solo Darling defeated Mickie Knuckles. That was super-entertaining, as most Solo Darling matches are. Solo got the huge upset victory after Mickie refused her offer of an Oreo cookie, consuming Solo with rage and driving her to hit Mickie with a sitout facebuster for the shock win. After the match, Mickie throws a muffin in Solo’s face.
Nevaeh defeated Niya Barela to become the new WSU Spirit Champion. Niya attacked Nevaeh before the match started, but eventually the bell rang to kick things off. In the end, Niya took her belt to hit Nevaeh but the referee saw it and took it off her, allowing Nevaeh to hit Niya’s patented double underhook DDT and get the three-count.
Annie Social comes out to induct Amy Lee into the Hall of Fame, with the entire roster surrounding the ring. Lee comes out and makes a speech. I didn’t understand a single word of it, save for all the times she said “fuck”. Which was a lot.
LuFisto defeated Shanna to retain the WSU World Championship. Odd decision to put the world title match on just before the interval, but whatever. Superb match – as you’d expect from two wrestlers of Shanna and Lufi’s calibre – but the ending seemed a little cheap, almost a carbon-copy of the previous match. Shanna took the title belt and tried to take out Lufi with it but the referee saw it and took it away, opening the door for Lufi to hit a Burning Hammer and get the win. After the match, Sassy Stephie and The Office try to attack LuFisto but they get fended off by Shanna, who’s suddenly a face despite trying to cheat to win mere seconds ago. Common enemy I suppose. Lufi and Shanna embrace in respect.
Cherry Bomb defeated Leva Bates. An extremely good match. Leva was dressed in the style of the Dudleys, who of course were regulars at this arena in the 1990s, and she used several Dudley-ish mannerisms and even hit a solo 3D on Cherry. Eventually, however, Cherry would get the victory with a Best Superkick Ever and continue her winning streak.
Kimber Lee and Annie Social defeated Juicy Product to win the WSU Tag Team Championships. Another fantastic match with a series of great spots, most notably a double stomp to Kimber Lee from the outside that left her bleeding. Finally, Kimber hit a Code Red on JT Dunn to regain the belts for her and Social.
Athena defeated Hania in a Tables, Ladders and Chairs Match. I don’t even know what to say. That was just incredible. Athena won after an O-Face from the largest ladder they could find, but that’s hardly the full story. Both women completely killed each other, and earlier on when Hania hit TWO sentons onto Athena through a table from the top of a ladder I thought she had it in the bag. And that’s just the tip of the iceberg. Check out the review for something more coherent about this match, because I’m not going to be able to do it justice right now.

WSU Breaking Barriers Report
Nevaeh defeated Jewells Malone. A fun opener, with both exchanging chain holds to start before Malone began to take control with a dragon sleeper. After preventing Malone from using her barbed-wire-2×4, Nevaeh was able to hit a Death Valley Driver for the pinfall.
Sassy Stephie comes out to address the audience, accompanied by Madamoiselle Rochelle and Amanda Rodriguez. Stephie claims to now have a job in WSU management. She first mentions Jessicka Havok, saying that they still have unfinished business. She then turns her attention to LuFisto, and says that she has her sights set on her and her WSU Championship.
Leva Bates defeated Brittany Blake. A short match that saw Leva make light work of her cosplaying counterpart. Blake got some good offense in, including a beautiful missile dropkick for a near-fall, but Leva would ultimately be victorious with what appeared to be a Pepsi Plunge.
Annie Social defeated David Starr. Starr spent large portions of the match taunting social and landing occasional offense, with Social getting sporadic counter-offense. In the end, Social countered one of Starr’s moves with a backslide for the win. A decent match, save for the Holocaust joke that was made on commentary. Jesus.
Cherry Bomb defeats Solo Darling. A pretty routine match for both women that saw Cherry Bomb get the win with the BSE. Decent, if forgettable.
Niya defeated Tessa Blanchard to retain the WSU Spirit Championship. This was a really good match, with debutante Blanchard impressing greatly with some perfectly-executed moves for someone so inexperienced, including a superb backcracker and a springboard tornado bulldog. In the end (and rightfully, to be fair) it was Niya who would pick up the win with a devastating double-arm DDT. After the match, Niya continued the beatdown, only for Nevaeh to make the save and call Niya out, saying that in January the pair will fight for the Spirit Championship.
Hania defeated Athena. Hania starts the action early, taking out Athena before she even makes it to the ring, and the pair brawl at ringside, with Athena swinging Hania brutally into the guardrails then slamming her back-first onto the apron. Counter after counter in the ring, before Hania hits a crossbody for a near-fall. Athena takes control again with various submission holds, followed by a vicious curb stomp for the two-count. Hania comes back into it with a succession of dropkicks, then an inverted DDT for another near-fall. Hania then goes for a rana attempt from the top rope, but Athena reverses it into a massive powerbomb, but again only a two-count. The match goes back outside, with Hania sending Athena head-first into the guardrail and back into the ring, where she hits a frog splash for the win. Another great, great match between the two, and with the scores at 1 apiece now, another rematch seems likely.
Mickie Knuckles defeated D’Arcy Dixon. A highly entertaining match that saw WSU newcomer Dixon show some incredible feats of strength, suplexing Knuckles onto the ring steps and powerbombing her from the top rope. In the end, however, Knuckles was just about too much for her, getting the pinfall victory.
Kimber Lee defeated JT Dunn. That was awesome. Everything Dunn threw at Kimber, she threw back twice as hard. Every strike dealt was returned with a bigger one, every move hit was countered brilliantly, and even the bizarre run-in from Rick Cataldo (let’s not go there) couldn’t take anything away from the match, which saw Lee get the win with a piledriver. With this and Hania/Athena it’s going to be hard to pick a match of the night, especially if the main event lives up to expectations too.
LuFisto defeated Jenny Rose to retain the WSU World Championship. This match went all over the place, with Rose taking the match to LuFisto from start to finish, throwing her into the guardrails and attacking her from all directions. LuFisto picked up the win in the end with a double underhook sitout powerbomb. After the match, the pair embraced, only for Stephie to return to the ring with her cronies and beat LuFisto down to end the show.

WSU Resurgence Results
Jenny Rose defeated Marti Belle. A fun, fast-paced match to start proceedings, Rose and Belle both being quick but cautious, trying to outsmart each other with sneaky roll-ups and submissions. In the end it was Rose that picked up the win with a schoolgirl.
Cherry Bomb defeated Miss Diss Lexia. A solid performance from Lexia, making her WSU debut and getting plenty of nice offense in, but ultimately falling short to Cherry Bomb, who got the win with the Best Superkick Ever.
Nevaeh and Brittany Blake defeated Niya Barela and Jessie Kaye. This was all about the rookie upstart Brittany Blake, who took a TON of damage in the ring from both Niya and Kaye over an immense period of time, before finally making a hot tag to Nevaeh, who cleaned house, taking out both opponents. Eventually a miscommunication between Niya and Blake allowed Nevaeh to hit a German on Blake for the three-count. After the match, Niya attacked Blake, and the pair brawled to the outside.
Sassy Stephie comes to the ring with Madamoiselle Rachelle. Stephie delivers some snark in Jessicka Havok’s direction, and says she doesn’t have an opponent tonight. Enter Solo Darling.
Sassy Stephie defeated Solo Darling. Solo immediately went for a hug, but Stephie threw her off. Stephie dominated the early stages of the match, but Solo came back into it with a back-to-back senton, before a quick ingestion of sugar galvanised her. Solo had the match won when she hit the Hug Factor, but Rachelle interjected before a three-count could be made, allowing Stephie to hit Kiss My Sass for the win. Good match, and a great performance from Solo Darling on her WSU debut.
Athena defeated Hania. Match of the night so far by a country mile, as two of the most exciting women on the roster threw everything they had at each other in wave upon wave of high-octane action. Athena got the win with an O-Face but Hania can be extremely proud of her contribution to that match.
Juicy Product (David Starr and JT Dunn) defeated C.U.N.T. (Annie Social and Kimber Lee) to retain the WSU Tag Team Championships. Rick Cataldo was accompanying Juicy Product, having “diva-fied” them (read: put them in tutus). David Starr and JT Dunn got the win with their double-team tombstone piledriver combo. This was a great match, with plenty of comedy and action in equal measure, and C.U.N.T. looked superb against their opponents. The finish though…I just don’t see how a clean win for the men benefits WSU in any way whatsoever. I dunno. We’ll see.
LuFisto defeated Allysin Kay to retain the WSU World Championship. Another aggressive, back-and-forth contest, going both and in and outside of the ring and hitting each other hard with power moves and strikes. LuFisto got the win with the Burning Hammer.
Out comes DJ Hyde with Sassy Stephie, and tells LuFisto that he wants her to be by his side and do as he says in WSU. LuFisto refuses, saying she’d rather die on her feet than live on her knees. Her and Stephie brawl, before Hyde throws a chair in her face and dismantles Pegaboo in front of her, as LuFisto bleeds in the ring.

WSU fires Jessicka Havok; strips her of World Title
In a startling announcement, Women Superstars Uncensored has stripped Jessicka Havok of its World Championship, nine days before she was due to defend the belt against LuFisto at the Queen and King of the Ring iPPV.
Revealing the news on its Facebook page, the promotion says that the Havok Death Machine is“banned for life” – though no word as to why.
The 27-year old held the title for 733 days in what was her second reign with the belt, defeating defending Champion Mercedes Martinez and Brittney Savage in a 3-way on April 28, 2012. Since then, she has turned back the challenges of Lexxus, Alicia, Athena, Shannaand Alpha Female, and as mentioned, was meant to to be defending against LuFisto a week on Saturday.
She was also plunged into a storyline which effectively dissolved the Midwest Militia, as Sassy Stephie called her out for not making it to August’s Uncensored Rumble show, describing her explanation – that she has experienced transportation issues – as “bullshit”. The pair engaged in a Cold War of words with Havok calling out Stephie for accepting another booking on the day of October’s Blood and Thunder event, culminating at Mutiny with Havok substituting for fellow Militia member Allysin Kay to effectively cost her teammates the Tag Team Titles and Stephie being unsuccessful in running interference during Jessicka’s defence against Alpha Female later in the night.
Consequently, WSU has booked a match for the vacant title between the Super Hardcore Anime and the woman she defeated at Mutiny in February to become number one contender, Athena. At the time, attendeeDave Muscarella described their contest as “possibly WSU’s best ever match”, so it has a lot to live up to – though considering the roll both have been on this year, it has all the makings of a screamer, with a new WSU Champion guaranteed in Voorhees, NJ on May 10.
Opinionated View- Well this is shocking. It's been a while since I've seen WSU but Havok is a great talent. This doesn't appear to be a storyline.

WSU 02/08/14 Mutiny iPPV Results
They announced the show was going to start a little late. Allysin Kay and Veda Scott are out via injury. Kay is still hospitalized and Veda will be doing commentary with Bryce Remsburg.

The issue with the iPPV turned out to be something so stupid and minor but unfortunately we weren’t able to resolve it until after #Mutiny was over. For over a year RFVideo has provided the best iPPV experience in the game for the events held at the Flyers Skate Zone. Joe from RFVideo does an incredible job and doesn’t get nearly enough credit for his hard work.
The issue with the iPPV turned out to be something so stupid and minor but unfortunately we weren’t able to resolve it until after #Mutiny was over. I don’t know the ins and outs of how the technology works exactly but in order to broadcast an iPPV you need an internet connection. Apparently the physical jack that the cable is hooked up to had been disabled sometime between last month’s CZW iPPV and today. It wasn’t until a few hours later that the staff at the Skate Zone showed Joe and the crew from RFVideo that there was another spot they could plug the cables into in order to gain internet access. That’s why CZW is broadcasting live on iPPV this very moment and we were unable to this afternoon.
This couldn’t have happened at a worse time. We had so much momentum heading into #Mutiny. Don’t get me wrong – the event delivered for those in person who contributed to WSU’s largest turnout yet – but that’s only a small percentage of the audience we have the potential to reach.
I need to wait until CZW is over to get with DJ and Rob to figure out the logistics of how we can make it up to our fans who ordered the iPPV. I hope to post about that resolution late tonight or early tomorrow. In the mean time, I want to thank you again for your patience and understanding.
