Corey Graves Retires Will Becaome Annoucer For NXT

NXT performer Corey Graves announced during last night's pre-show for the NXT Takeover: R Evolution live special on the WWE Network that due to a series of concussions sustained over the last year, he would be retiring from in-ring competition. However, Graves will remain a part of WWE and NXT as he was given a 2-year contract by WWE COO Triple H to be a part of the NXT announce team, alongside Rich Brennan and Alex Riley.

Opinionated View- Its a loss of a very talented guy but his long term health is more important. Fingers are crossed he becomes a good announcer.

NXT Wrestler Corey Graves' Future as an In-Ring Performer Possibly Over

- Injured WWE NXT wrestler Corey Graves could reportedly be done as an in-ring performer. Graves is currently out dealing with a second concussion. According to backstage talk, Graves' future as a wrestler is not looking good, and officials are currently looking for a non-wrestling role for him.

Corey Graves Not On NXT Due To Concussion

Corey Graves, who was absent from NXT earlier this year due to a concussion, made his return in the spring for a short feud with Sami Zayn. He's currently healing from another concussion he received, which is why he hasn't been on NXT TV lately.

Eight-Man Tag With Top NXT Names & WWE Stars Reportedly Being Considered For WrestleMania

It is being rumored that WWE is considering an eight-man tag match at WrestleMania, which would feature both main roster stars as well as stars from the NXT developmental promotion. That match would reportedly see Cesaro, Sami Zayn, Bo Dallas and NXT Champion Adrian Neville face off with Jack Swagger, Corey Graves and NXT tag team champions, The Ascension. 

The match was reportedly on the internal rundown of the show, but could be off the show due to the participants being used in the Andre the Giant Memorial Battle Royal. 

Opinionated View- Outside of Bo Dallas who is the most freaking boring talent ever and I don't want to hear about that over ratted ladder match he had I would love to see these guys on Mania. But I think odds are they wind up in the Battle Royal.
