MVP Comments on His Injury and the TNA Slammiversary Main Event

TNA wrestler MVP was recently on Chris Jericho’s “Talk is Jericho” podcast. MVP confirmed his knee injury and stated that there are still tentative plans for him to wrestle at this Sunday’s Slammiversary pay per view main event.  He also confirmed that he has having ongoing conversations with TNA Creative in case he cannot do the match. However, MVP says TNA is having conversations about contingency plans if his knee does not improve.

MVP said that his doctors believe he has a torn meniscus and that so far, they are not sure on just how extensive the injury is. He mentioned he was also able to put weight on the knee just a few days ago for the first time since the injury. MVP also mentioned that doctors stated it may be best to determine the extent of the injury following a test of the injured area in the ring, quite possibly at Slammiversary.

Opinionated View- Fingers are crossed he can make it
through the match.
