Why Weren't the Second MITB Match Competitors Announced on Raw?

- As previously reported, a second Money in the Bank match has been announced for the MITB PPV this month with the winner earning a shot at the WWE World Heavyweight Title at a time to be chosen by him within the next year. At this point the only name announced is Seth Rollins, with the rest set to be announced next week on Raw. WWE didn't announce the remaining competitors for the match at this week's Raw because of the battle royal for a shot in the main MITB match, which Roman Reigns won. Most of or all of the competitors who will be in the second match were in the battle royal.

The Wrestling Observer Newsletter notes that Dean Ambrose is likely to be added to the match along with Big E, RVD and Bo Dallas. Bad News Barrett and Dolph Ziggler will either be in that match or an Intercontinental Title match while Paige vs. Naomi will be the probably Divas Title match.
