Impact opens up with highlights from last week and then Eric Young makes his way down to the ring. EY says that in three days it will be he and MVP one-on-one in the biggest match of EY’s life. He says that he has something to say to MVP so he and his “two little buddies” should come on down.
MVP walks out along with his boys and says EY has his undivided attention. EY says he knows there is no way “big mouth and muscles” are going to keep their noses out of EY and MVP’s business at Slammiversary. MVP asks if EY is suggesting that he needs help to beat him and reminds EY that he is a world class athlete and “half man, half amazing.” He says as much as EY thinks he can beat MVP, he can’t and he will take the belt from him. EY says it is time for MVP to show him the respect he’s earned and all he is asking for is one simple request: a fair fight at Slammiversary. MVP says as much as he would like to guarantee that to EY, his brother Kenny King sometimes has “emotional outbursts” and there are no guarantees in life. EY says he isn’t talking to MVP wrestler to wrestler, he’s talking to him man to man right now. He says if a bigger, better man wants to take the belt from him then so be it but getting screwed over and attacked from behind isn’t wrestling, it’s garbage. EY says he is willing to do absolutely anything to insure that doesn’t happen.
MVP asks if he really just said that he would do anything and EY says he didn’t stutter. MVP says he isn’t unreasonable so he is willing to grant EY his “fair fight” and he will let EY pick the stipulation for their match, but EY has to earn that opportunity tonight by defeating he, Lashley, and King all tonight. King says that EY is a loser and couldn’t beat two of them let alone all three. EY says he won’t guarantee that he will beat all three of them or even two but he will guarantee that he will damn sure try. King says EY can’t beat two of them let alone three again and finally MVP agrees to make the deal that if EY beats just two of them tonight then EY can earn the stipulation. He calls it a no-win situation for EY and EY asks MVP if he knows how many times EY has heard that something was a “no-win situation” for him. EY says maybe he shouldn’t be able to beat two of them but people also said he shouldn’t be World Champion but he is! EY says MVP isn’t man enough to take the belt from him. MVP laughs and introduces EY’s first opponent for the night, Lashley.

Lashley charges at Joe but Joe drops down and Lashley goes flying over the top rope! Joe dares Lashley to get back in the ring but Lashley backs down.

----COMMERCIAL BREAK----
EY talks to the doctor backstage and says he felt something pop in his back. The doctor advises him not to go back out tonight. Joe says what happened tonight is indicative of a bigger problem in TNA which is MVP. He says Lashley is an animal and he is one of a kind, but he doesn’t care who Lashley thinks he is. He says that Lashley is his next victim and MVP is next after that.
Magnus comes out to the ring along with Bram. Magnus is wearing a wifebeater and jeans instead of the suits he’s been wearing, and Bram says that Magnus is the most brutal man he knew growing up and the fans will grow to fear him. Magnus calls Bram his oldest friend and says that he helped bring back the old Magnus. Magnus says he was trying to be everything “they” wanted him to be, a watered down suit wearing joke. Magnus says he looks back at the last six months and it makes him sick to his stomach. Magnus says there will be no more of him being what someone else wants and with Bram by his side they are unstoppable. Bram says that Jeff Hardy needs an alter ego to give himself an edge but he knows now who the real Magnus is.
Willow comes out and says he has come out to give Bram and Magnus a chance to run. He says that he is dangerous and behind his mask he is not responsible for his actions because he comes from Jeff Hardy’s imagination. Willow says he remembers the “Hardy” chants which starts a “Hardy” chant but says where Jeff Hardy can’t go Willow can. Willow says that Magnus and Bram have woken something inside of him and at Slammiversary “we” will take them down. Magnus agrees to face Willow and “his alter ego.” He says that he doesn’t have an alter ego but he does have his insurance policy Bram. Willow says “we” are ready to talk and Bram says that he and Jeff Hardy are the “same bloody person.” Willow says of course he and Jeff Hardy are the same person and you never know who might show up, but he will have someone else in his corner. Hardy says “we will take you out” and then Abyss’ music hits! Abyss walks out and he hits the ring along with Willow to go after Bram and Magnus! The brawl goes all around ringside between the four. Willow clotheslines Magnus over the top rope and Abyss clotheslines Bram over the top! Bram and Magnus retreat up the ramp as Abyss and Willow celebrate in the ring. So I’m assuming that Abyss will be in Hardy’s corner while Bram will be in Magnus’ corner, why not a tag team match? That makes no sense at all.

EC3 says everyone deserves to know the truth about Bully Ray and his checkered path and to get to the truth he would like to introduce Brooke Tessmacher. Brooke comes out and EC3 says this is a “tree of trust” for her to be honest with. Bully wishes the best for her and hugs her. EC3 mocks them and says that his pandering sickens him. EC3 says their issues need to come to a head and as the fans chant for tables EC3 asks them if they want tables. EC3 says there is a time for tables and that place is Dallas, TX at Slammiversary and he officially challenges Bully to a Tables Match! EC3 says that Bully will only put Dixie Carter through a table over his dead body. Bully laughs and asks if he just said “over your dead body” and normally he would jump at the opportunity to have a tables match, but since EC3 just said “over your dead body” and since they will be in Texas they should do something that hasn’t been done in a long time…a Texas Death Match! EC3 agrees as Spud begs him not to.
