As announced earlier today, MVP has been deemed medically unfit to compete in Sunday's Slammiversary Main Event. Now, the Director of Wrestling Operations has announced his replacement(s).
This Sunday, Samoa Joe is scheduled to face Bobby Lashley and Austin Aries is scheduled to challenge Kenny King. We can now report that the winners of each of those bouts will then be added to Sunday's Main Event against TNA World Champion Eric Young – creating a Three Way Steel Cage Match for the TNA World Heavyweight Title.
What do you think of MVP's decision? Which two men would you like to see challenge Eric Young this Sunday for the TNA World Heavyweight Championship? Let us know your thoughts NOW on Twitter, using the hashtag #Slammiversary
Slammiversary is LIVE on Pay-Per-View from Dallas, TX on Sunday, June 15 at 8/7c.
Opinionated View- I'm disappointed because I really was enjoying the storyline they were doing with MPV and EY. The new main event could be really good. Problem is I now fear Lashley will win the title.
