Vince McMahon Reportedly Furious With Byron Saxton, High On Renee Young

- It is being reported that Vince McMahon was legitimately furious with Byron Saxton’s commentary work on Monday’s Raw. When Saxton returned backstage following Raw, McMahon reportedly ignored him. Michael Cole worked the gorilla position and tried to coach Saxton through the show, but there is no heat on Cole for Saxton’s performance. Vince McMahon and Kevin Dunn reportedly feel Saxton was given a major opportunity, but that he did not “grab the brass ring.”

While McMahon and Dunn were not impressed with Saxton’s performance, they are said to be very high on Renee Young. WWE wants to keep her doing backstage interviews for now, but the feeling is that she could be brought up to the Raw announce team at some point.

Opinionated View- Ok I haven't been fan of Saxton's commentary but he wasn't that bad. I mean he wasn't any worse than the usual WWE commentary. And you had Cole coach him no wonder he was bad.

WWE touting first full-time female broadcast team member in more than a decade

WWE has announced that Renee Young has become the new host of the WWE Superstars television. The company is playing up the idea that she is the first full-time female commentator in over a decade.
"I feel there is definitely a certain amount of pressure, not only as a performer and broadcaster but representing women who may not even know this is something that they want to do," Young toldWWE.com. "I can show other women that if you're not a Diva and you still want to be involved in WWE, there's so much you can do. It's definitely really cool to be in the position to create a bit of a niche for myself and other women."

ESPN Reportedly Interested in WWE's Renee Young

- At this time, ESPN is said to be very interested in WWE interviewer Renee Young. Word is that the sports giant may make a play to sign her, as she has impressed a lot of people with her work in the WWE.

Prior to signing with the WWE, Young worked for the Score out of Canada from 2009-2012. She served as the host of Right After Wrestling and later Aftermath.
