Lucha Dragons’ Promotion Due to Uso Injury?

- The Wrestling Observer Newsletter reports that the Lucha Dragons’ jump to the main roster and push is due in part to Jey Uso’s undergoing surgery after being injured last month before WrestleMania.
The site reports that the company needed to elevate a new babyface tag team in order to have a challenger for Tyson Kidd and Cesaro. The team has received wins on Raw and Smackdown and are considered the next likely contenders for the tag team titles.

Lucha Dragons Scheduled For WWE TV Tapings

Kalisto and Sin Cara, the Lucha Dragons, are scheduled for this week’s RAW and Smackdown tapings. They made their main roster TV debuts last week, beating Curtis Axel and Heath Slater in a match taped for WWE Main Event.
