Two Talents Back on the Road With WWE

Big Show and Layla returned to action at WWE live events this weekend.
Big Show had been originally slated to return to WWE TV last week until plans changed.
Layla had originally returned to the road following WrestleMania 31 and later appeared at an event on 5/11 representing WWE at an event for Susan G. Komen.

Layla Comments on Injury Reports

We noted earlier that WWE Diva Layla had surgery this past week for an unknown injury. Layla posted the following on Instagram today in regards to those reports: "I am Not Injured ... I had a personal Surgery. I am Healthy & I am 100% Gonna be Back at Work soon!!!! #DontAlwaysBelieveEverythingYouRead Miss You All ..... Love Love"

Layla El Injured, Had Surgery This Week

Layla El was injured and pulled from WWE’s schedule. She also had surgery this week. At this time it’s unknown what the injury was but we’ll post more details as we get them.

Reason For Layla/Summer Rae Pairing

- The reason WWE has teamed up Layla and Summer Rae is because WWE is trying a new version of LayCool (Layla and Michelle McCool). This is said to be because The Beautiful People have returned in TNA.

New Divas Match In the Works For WWE Payback?

One possible match for WWE Payback will see Layla face Summer Rae with Fandando as a referee.

The point of the match would be who Fandango sides and thus ends up with, which will further the love triangle story between them. The PPV is set for June 1st.

Layla Makes Return at WWE Live Event

WWE Diva Layla made her return to the company at last night's 3/14 WWE live event in Waco, Texas. She hadn't been seen on WWE television since September 2013 and was reportedly taking time off due to personal reasons.

Updates on Richie Steamboat and Layla

- Layla is still under a WWE contract, and while medically cleared to return to action, is away from the company dealing with personal issues. 

- While there were reports that he was released, Richie Steamboat is still under contract to WWE. Steamboat is still sidelined with a major back injury that could end his career.

Opinionated View- Could care less about Layla. I hope Richie can make some kind of miracle comeback he has a lot talent and potential.

WWE Diva Layla Still Not Cleared to Wrestle

WWE Diva Layla has reportedly not been cleared to wrestle. There is still said to be no word if she's injured or taken off TV for personal reasons. Layla has been out of action for several months. She was last seen turning heel in August during the feud between Kaitlyn and AJ Lee, and she sided with AJ. After Tamina became AJ's bodyguard, we have not seen Layla on WWE TV. She took part in a WWE photoshoot in September, and then she tweeted that she was "home bound" and then wrote, "don't miss me too much." It's also been quiet for her on social media this month.

Is WWE Diva Layla Injured

- Layla has not been on WWE TV since September, leading to speculation that she may have an injury. She has had knee problems over the past few years that kept her off of TV. The 7 on 7 Divas match at Survivor Series doesn't include her and she didn't make the European tour.

WWE DIvas To Appear on Food Network Show

WWE Divas Layla and Alicia Fox are scheduled to appear on the Food Network show, Cupcake Wars, this Saturday at 8PM ET. The official synopsis of the show from the Food Network website is as follows:

The bad girls of cupcake wars battle to win the hearts of special guest judges, WWE Diva's Alicia Fox and Layla. At stake is a chance to bring their cupcakes to WWE's SummerSlam, as well as a $10,000 prize.

Reported Diva Turning Heel

- WWE is once again considering turning Layla heel and having her feud with Kaitlyn. She was originally set to turn months ago but the idea was canceled after initial segments aired.

Opinionated View- Won't matter Layla suck as a face or a heel. Thank god for AJ and Kaitlyn who actually gave me a reason to care about the WWE Divas division.
