TNA Announces Gutcheck Seminar On November 9th

TNA's Gut Check Seminar Scheduled for Nov. 9, in Toledo, Ohio

Nashville, Tenn. (Oct. 25, 2013) – TNA WRESTLING announced today it is accepting applications for the upcoming Gut Check Seminar in Toledo, Ohio, Saturday, Nov. 9, at the SeaGate Convention Centre.

The two-hour Gut Check Seminar offers instruction and advice from TNA personnel and industry veterans as they evaluate aspiring wrestlers, announcers, managers, valets and referees on promos, drills, simulated matches and in-ring work, with the possibility of earning a spot on the TNA roster.

"The Gut Check Seminars have proven to be a fantastic way for undiscovered talent to get noticed," said Executive Vice President of Television Production and Talent Relations John Gaburick. "A number of great wrestlers discovered through the Gut Check Seminars have made the TNA roster and are seen by millions of fans around the world each week on IMPACT WRESTLING."

Recent "Gut Check" winner and the newest Knockout, Lei'D Tapa, who is making her presence known each week on IMPACT WRESTLING airing Thursday nights on Spike TV, came through the ranks of a Gut Check Seminar to earn a TNA contract this past February.

Below are details of the upcoming Gut Check Seminar taking place prior to the IMPACT WRESTLING WORLD TOUR event scheduled for later the same evening in Toledo:

TNA News: New Arrival Teased

- During Impact Wrestling, TNA ran a video that announced "Ethan is comming." In addition, Impact's Twitter account posted a simple tweet echoing the statement:

#EthanIsComing.

A video also ran hyping the return of Lei'D Tapa. Tapa was one of the Gut Check winners and has been working for OVW since.

Opinionated View- I have no idea who Ethan could be. Tapa didn't impress me in her Gut Check and I'm not impressed with what I have seen since.

Former TNA Gut Chuck Worker Possibly Behind August 1 Mystery Video

- Former TNA Gut Chuck worker "Scrap Iron" Adam Pearce posted atweetearlier today about August 1. This could reveal he's part of the cryptic, August 1 promo. Pearce worked a Gut Check match for TNA in April of this year, but he was never used later on. The tweet was posted before TNA put up thevideo, so it's merely a theory at this point.

Opinionated View- Well first this could just be Adam having some fun with the net. But he sure does have the profile that fits the guy in the video. And I swear I have heard that voice before so it could be Pearce. Talent wise he belongs on TV so I would love to see him get a chance.

Gutcheck Participant Revealed For Tonight’s TNA Impact Wrestling (SPOILERS)

Current NYWC Champion The Big O, who is Zack Ryder's friend and regularly appeared on Z! True Long Inland Story, is scheduled to appear on tonight's edition of Impact Wrestling. He will participate in the Gutcheck segments. Big O recently had aWWEtryout back when the company taped TV in the Northeast.

TNA Reveals Gut Check Challenge Winner

- TNA has announced that "Bad Bones" John Klinger won the online Gut Check Challenge to earn a Gut Check audition on a future Impact. Klinger received 2,185 votes, nearly twice as much as second-place Shanna. Third went to Dab Savage with Facade in fourth.
