Identity Of TNA's New Ethan Character

Mike Johnson is reporting that the person playing the new character in TNA known as Ethan is former WWE performer Derrick Bateman (Michael Hutter). Bateman had a try-out match with TNA a few weeks ago and was signed by the company. Last week, the vignettes began playing for the Ethan character on TNA IMPACT Wrestling.

Former NXT Worker Wrestles in Dark Match at Impact Wrestling Tapings

Michael Hutter, formerly Derek Bateman on WWE NXT, worked a dark match for tonight's Impact Wrestling taping in Cleveland, Ohio. He lost to Jay Bradley.

Opinionated View- My feelings on the guy was he was in the middle not an awful talent but not someone I would go out of my way to sign and push.
