Who Was Responsible For the TNA License Issue Over The Weekend?

The person that would have been overseeing the licensing of talents for different States would have been Bruce Prichard. Prichard parted ways with TNA last week.

As previously reported, TNA had a TNA house show in Cape Girardeau, MO on Saturday night. Prior to the start of the show, road agent Pat Kenny had to explain to the crowd that around half the wrestlers who were scheduled would not be allowed to work due to commission licensing issues.

TNA will have to make sure the issues are resolved, as they have a TV taping set for St. Louis, MO in September.

TNA News: Official statement regarding Bruce Prichard's departure

TNA issued the following statement regarding Bruce Prichard's departure from the company.

TNA has parted ways with Senior Vice President of Programming and Talent Relations Bruce Prichard. TNA is headquartered in Nashville, and, as we move forward, our creative team and executive leadership will be here in Nashville with us," said President of TNA Dixie Carter. “Bruce's dedication and passion for TNA and IMPACT Wrestling will be missed, and we thank him for the incredible work he has done for us. Bruce Prichard and D'Lo Brown Departure From TNA Confirmed

TNA released Bruce Prichard and D'Lo Brown from their backstage positions earlier today, PWInsider.com has confirmed.

Prichard was working as Senior Vice President, Programming & Talent Relations, a position he had held since October 2011. In that role, Prichard oversaw talent relations, talent scouting and development, as well as, overseeing the creative direction of the company. As noted yesterday on PWInsider.com, there were fingers being pointed at him regarding recent issues with talent contracts expiring without new deals being signed and/or talents being signed so close to the end of their existing deals.

D'Lo Brown had been with the company since 2009 as an agent and was in charge of the promotion's Gutcheck tryouts and talent development.
