Ring of Honor parent company Sinclair Broadcast Group has announced that it will launch American Sports Network on the company's television stations. The plan is to broadcast college sports from conferences including Conference USA, the Colonial Athletic Association, Big South Conference, and Patriot League.
"This is another example of our foray into the content creation business," David Smith, president and CEO of Sinclair, stated in a press release. "The launch of ASN will provide important and valuable content that is directed at serving our local communities, while improving the value of our CW and MyNet affiliates." Opinionated View- For those that don't follow College Football it airs on Saturday. Now ROH in my home state airs on Saturday so ROH could be delayed or not air at all some weeks.
