WrestleMania 30 pre-show guest signed to WWE contract

Former NFL player Shawne Merriman, who sat in as a guest on the WrestleMania 30 pre-show, as signed a WWE contract. According to the April 7 episode of the JBL and Cole Podcast, Merriman is "joining the WWE family" and will be working at the WWE Developmental Center in Florida. The podcast is available via iTunes.

Opinionated View- Well this is a dumb move. First this guys has zero wrestling experience so we are in for Mongo 2.0. Also he's been suspended by the NFL for steroid use plus he faced legal charges for beating up his than girlfriend. On top of that he got into it with Punk on Twitter for act like a jackass backstage.
