As reported yesterday, Alberto El Patron suffered a torn quad during a match in Mexico last week. According to the Wrestling Observer, El Patron’s match against Matt Hardy for Northeast Wrestling on Friday was changed into a tag match and El Patron teamed with Hardy against the Young Bucks. The company shot an angle where the Bucks attacked Alberto until Hardy made the save.
El Patron had a minimal amount of ring time during the match and had his leg wrapped. He did take part in a meet & greet before the show.
Patron is expected to take some time off following the injury.
