Alberto del Rio comes out and says that they are just a few miles away from Mexico, so he’s going to speak to his countrymen in Spanish. He cuts an entire promo in Spanish – one guy screams “we don’t care” – and is eventually cut off by Zeb Colter and Jack Swagger. Zeb says he didn’t understand anything del Rio just said, and actually gets about a 90% heel reaction from the crowd. He compares Mexico to Russia, and the match is made between the two tonight.
Goldust & Stardust vs. Heath Slater & Titus O’Neil
Cody and Goldust pick apart Heath Slater for a few minutes, until Titus gets the hot tag for his team and slams Cody. Rhodes comes back with a big body drop and an elbow out of the corner, but is caught with a huge backbreaker. Slater and Goldust make tags at the same time, and its Goldust who gets the advantage with a snap powerslam for a two-count. The Rhodes Brothers double team Slater until Titus makes the save and boots Goldust. Slater with a roll-up while the referee is distracted, and Slater Gator steals the win.
Winners: Slater Gator
-We get a recap of last night’s Brie Bella and Stephanie McMahon contract signing, Triple H getting involved, and the Pedigree to Nikki Bella.
WWE Divas Champion AJ Lee vs. Summer Rae
Summer plays the heel and goes on the attack from behind, then continues her assault for several minutes. She locks in a side headlock using her own arms for leverage, and the crowd chants Lee back into the match. AJ locks in the Black Widow out of nowhere for the submission win.
Winner: AJ Lee
-AJ is interviewed in the ring, and asked about her SummerSlam title match against Paige. She tells a “fairy tale” about a princess who became a queen after winning the Divas Championship, and an evil witch who came in and ruined her day. She talks about coming back to be her own white knight, and she will ruin Paige’s dreams at SummerSlam. Paige comes out and says she’s thrilled that AJ is back on her feet, because they belong in the ring together. She calls them “friends” even when she takes her title back next Sunday.
-Brock Lesnar vs. John Cena video package that played on Raw twice last night.
-Hulk Hogan returns to WWE Raw next Monday night, live from Portland, OR.
Jack Swagger vs. Alberto del Rio
They lock up a few times with Swagger going into rest holds – he’s sort of playing the heel here – and end up brawling to the outside. Swagger does his “we the People” gimmick and very few people respond. Del Rio kicks him in the side of the head as he tries to get back into the ring, and the fans actually cheer as we head to a break. After the break, del Rio is in control, attacking Swagger’s injured ribs and kicking his ass around the ringside area. He ends up throwing him into the ring post on the floor, and then rolls back into the ring to keep working him over. Swagger battles back and hits a running press – he does “we the people” and they actually boo him this time. The Swagger Bomb connects for a two-count, as a “del Rio” chant breaks out. He locks in the Cross Armbreaker out of nowhere, which Swagger counters into the Patriot Lock. ADR breaks the hold and tried for a step-up enzuigiri in the corner, but Swagger catches him with the Patriot Lock. Eventually del Rio has to tap out.
Winner: Jack Swagger
