AXS TV issued the following press release promoting the debut of WOW-Women of Wrestling tonight on the network at 9:00 p.m. Eastern/8:00 CT.
Current Impact star and former Knockouts Champion Tessa Blanchard will be part of the roster, as first reported back in September during her signing.

Another match confirmed for NXT TakeOver: Phoenix
WWE has confirmed another match for NXT TakeOver: Phoenix in two weeks.
Matt Riddle vs. Kassius Ohno has been confirmed for the live special airing live on the WWE Network on January 26 during Royal Rumble weekend.
Earlier today, Ricochet defending the NXT North American Championship against Johnny Gargano was also confirmed for the live TakeOver special.
Updated Card for NXT TakeOver: Phoenix
WWE has confirmed another championship match for NXT TakeOver: Phoenix.
Ricochet will defend the NXT North American Championship against Johnny Gargano on the special airing live on January 26 during the Royal Rumble weekend.
Already announced for the show is Tommaso Ciampa defending the NXT Championship against Aleister Black, while The Undisputed Era (Kyle O’Reilly and Roderick Strong) defend the NXT Tag Team Championships against The War Raiders.
NXT star scheduled for surgery today
NXT star Dakota Kai announced she would be undergoing surgery on Thursday to repair a torn ACL. Kai suffered the injury at a recent NXT live event in Green Bay.

Mike And Maria Kanellis Recently Requested Releases From WWE
Pro Wrestling Sheet has learned Mike and Maria Kannellis recently asked for WWE officials to release them from their contracts.
Sources tell us the Kanellis’ have been unhappy with the way they’ve been used in WWE for awhile and finally made the decision a few weeks ago to request their releases.
Mike Kanellis has also once again started selling new shirts on Pro Wrestling Tees.
Mike and Maria Kannellis signed with WWE in April of 2017 and debuted in June at Money in the Bank. Months later, Mike revealed he had been battling addiction and Maria announced she was pregnant. The duo weren’t used much on TV after that, until recently resurfacing on 205 Live.
According to CageMatch.net, Mike Kanellis wrestled on SmackDown Live a total of four times since signing with WWE. The rest of his appearances were largely relegated to Main Event and live events.
FYI — WWE doesn’t always grant release requests, so it’s possible nothing comes of this and the couple are simply paid to sit at home until the deal expires.

This is just beyond funny. Because I remember all the shit they both talked about Impact as they left. They have both been total kiss asses since returning to the WWE. Hell just go check any tweet Mike Bennett has made since joining the company. Maybe you should have held on and worked with Callis and D'Amore because I could see them doing good thing with Bennett.
Jungle Boy Nate Coy Agrees To Terms With All Elite Wrestling
Jack Perry, son of actor Luke Perry, and also goes by his ring-name, Jungle Boy Nate Coy, has come to terms on an agreement with All Elite Wrestling.
Perry has gained mainstream attention as of late at just the age of 21. Jack will start with the company later in the year after he finishes his contractual obligations. AEW wanted a longer term for the young man, however, Jack, his father and his legal team felt it was best for him to not sign a deal over 2 years at this point in his early career.
The Revival Rumored to be Preparing to Leave WWE
– According to a new report from Fightful, there is concern backstage in WWE that the tag team, The Revival (Scott Dawson and Dash Wilder), could soon be finishing up with the promotion and preparing their WWE exit. Apparently, there are several people within WWE who are fearful that Dawson and Wilder “are done or finishing up with the company.”
The report also mentions this happened “after a situation unfolded at WWE Raw.” There are no details on what the situation was or what it could be. Fightful indicates that Dawson and Wilder are not guaranteed to receive a release, and WWE plans to handle everything on a case-by-case basis.
Additionally, the report notes that the multiple sources on The Revival currently see the recently announced All Elite Wrestling (AEW) as where the tag team would likely go next. However, that’s merely speculation on the part of the sources. Another former WWE Superstar, PAC (formerly Neville), has already signed with the promotion. Chris Jericho also announced his signing with AEW at the rally.
Fans of Being The Elite will note that there was a long ongoing gag on the show where The Revival were subjected to the “F*** The Revival” line.
Dash Wilder hasn’t posted any tweets since last Monday, where he had an exchange with Maria Kanellis after Wilder took some shots at Matt Taven. Earlier this week, Scott Dawson did retweet a WWE fan poll asking if there’s “a conspiracy theory against The Revival?
Opinionated View-Well you gotta be careful with reports like this. Even in this report they admit its not a lock they would even be allowed to leave. Plus there also a chance "Squeaky Wheel gets the grease." They could be acting like this to try and force a push or something. Now that said if I were them I would packing my bags while DM'ing the Bucks saying "Just hold some spots we are coming as soon as we can."
Remember the Revival was the team everyone was saying going to revitalize tag team wrestling in the WWE. People were saying they were the beat tag team in wrestling.And since moving up to the main roster they have done NOTHING. And I know part of it was injury at the worst possible time. But they have been healthy now long enough something should have been done. But they have unused or just used to job to the Lucha House party. And all these shit teams like New Day, The Bar, The Usos, The B Team, Eaters of Worlds have been pushed hard.
Given some of the comments the Bucks have made and the fact Wilder and Dawson have played into the FTR clearly this some kind of relationship that has developed. Even if you don't go to AEW you can sign with Impact work TV vs. OVE, LAX, Lucha Bros and pick up Indy dates. Go to ROH or MLW and give those divisons some much needed depth. New Japan could use a new tag team.
And I know some will say something like "Just send them back to NXT." 1 you make less money in NXT and several people have confirmed that. 2 say they do go back to NXT and they become the top team in NXT again so they can just wait around and than get called up and wasted again.
