CM Punk Speaks on His WWE Depature and Should AJ stop using the clash?

Stay tuned my year in the end video for TNA is coming soon

TNA's UK Tour To Host Impact Tapings

- TNA announced today that its live events in Glasgow, Manchester and London in the UK will all be tapings for Impact Wrestling. The promotion made the announcement to the UK today, revealing that the January 29th to 31st dates will all be taped for airing on TV.

The promotion also noted that the six finalists of TNA Wrestling: British Boot Camp 2 will all be on hand for the UK Tour. That includes Grado, Noam Dar Kay Lee Ray, Mark Andrews, Mastiff and Rampage Brown. They also advertised Magnus, Rockstar Spud, James Storm, MVP, Madison Rayne, Abyss, Eric Young and the three British Boot Camp judges–Al Snow, Gail Kim and Samoa Joe. Each of the Boot Camp finalists will be part of a free meet and greet at each event.

Dixie Carter said in the press release, “Our fans across the UK know TNA for the unmatched professional wrestling we deliver each week on Challenge. We are thrilled to once again showcase internationally, through our flagship program IMPACT, the energy and excitement of the rowdy UK crowds by televising all three of our MAXIMUM IMPACT 7 events in Glasgow, Manchester and London. After the incredible energy the UK fans gave the IMPACT shows broadcast from these three cities this past January, I decided we had to try and raise the bar even higher in 2015. Several talent such as Lashley, Bram, Angelina Love and TNA Knockouts Champion Taryn Terrell will be making their first appearance on a TNA UK tour or returning after several years’ absence. We also have some very exciting things planned for the tour and several surprises fans will not want to miss. Being able to meet the finalists of British Boot Camp before every show is an added bonus.”

Opinionated View- Good move The UK shows are always pretty awesome. TNA draws a good crowd over there and the fans are passionate.

WWE Backing off Triple H vs. Ryback Plans?

As was previously reported, WWE officials were reportedly considering the idea of a Triple H vs. Ryback match sometime after the start of the year based on the recent interactions they’ve had on TV. The discussion was to have the match at the Royal Rumble in order to build Ryback up toward a big match at WrestleMania 31.

However, that seems to no longer be the case. The Wrestling Observer reports that officials are cold on the idea of that match after Ryback’s match against Cesaro on Raw, which wasn’t well-received. It’s worth noting that the report says nothing about CM Punk’s comments about him or his reaction on Twitter, so there is no indication these played into the decision.

Opinionated View- Now if only WWE would give up on Ryback. Sadly I'm sure both Ryback and Triple H will wind up on the mania card. With Ryback WWE maybe stupid enough to try and drag out his feud with Kane to Mania. I'm sure Triple H already has a plan B because well it's triple h he not only booked himself on last year's mania he booked himself to beat up the guy that left with the title.

Update on the Audience Reach For Destination America

In regards to the reach of Destination America, the new home of TNA's Impact Wrestling show starting in January 2015, the network average is around 100,000 viewers in prime time with the biggest shows drawing closer to 200,000 viewers. An episode of "Buying Alaska" drew 535,000 viewers a few weeks ago. As reported earlier, the network is in close to 60 million homes.

Opinionated View- Well this is why they got TNA. Again don't worry to much about the reach remember DA is a pretty new network so give it time to grow.

Chris Jericho Advertised for WWE Live Events During Royal Rumble Weekend

Chris Jericho has been advertised to appear at WWE live events in New Jersey on 1/23 and 1/24 according to a report by Jason Powell. As previously reported, Jericho and WWE were working on a new deal that would have Jericho only work live events and not any TV tapings or PPV events. Jericho has not been advertised for the Royal Rumble PPV.

Opinionated View- Hopefully it will just be house shows so I won't have to see Jericho come in and half ass it

WWE Holding Slammy Awards on 12/8

WWE.com has officially announced late last night that the 2014 Slammy Awards will take place during the 12/8 WWE RAW in Greenville, South Carolina. WWE World Heavyweight Champion Brock Lesnar is expected to return and appear at the show.

Opinionated View- Since the WWE brought the Slammy's back they have been among the very worse shows of the year. I doubt that will change this year.

New Match Added to WWE TLC

As announced on last night's Smackdown, Ryback vs. Kane in a Chairs Match will take place at the WWE TLC PPV on 12/14 from Cleveland, Ohio.

The updated card for the show is as follows:

Tables, Ladders & Chairs Match
Bray Wyatt vs. Dean Ambrose

Chairs Match
Ryback vs. Kane

Opinionated View- Ryback vs. Kane I guess WWE wanted to lock in worst match of the year because that is going to suck big time.

WWE Hell in a Cell Buyrate

According to the most recent update of WWE's Key Performance Indicators on the corporate website, the 10/26 WWE Hell in a Cell PPV from Dallas, Texas (headlined by Dean Ambrose vs. Seth Rollins in a Hell in a Cell match but sold an as Orton vs. Cena PPV) drew 76,000 traditional Pay Per View buys. The final number will be released during the 2014 fourth quarter earnings at the beginning of January 2015

Opinionated View- WWE and it's IWC defenders are already defending it saying the drop is due to the network. And why that did play a role its not the sole reason. I think its mainly no one wanted to Cena and Orton again.

Backstage Reaction To CM Punk, Triple H Livid

While a previous report stated that there has been a mixed reaction to CM Punk’s interview with Colt Cabana on the Art of Wrestling podcast, according to the latest version of Wrestling Observer Radio just about everyone in the company who listened to it–which is pretty much everyone from management and main roster to NXT–thought it was great. The report claims that while Punk had a lot of enemies backstage–particularly at the end–even his detractors are reportedly pleased that some of the details he provided have finally surfaced. It was noted that many people backstage are afraid to discuss their issues with management and while they don’t like him or want him back, they are glad that these details have been revealed to the public.
To no one’s surprise, the McMahons are not pleased about it. According to the report, Vince McMahon is “upset but not fuming” and is simply upset that the whole thing happened. Triple H, on the other hand, is furious. Brian Alvarez noted, “‘Triple H wants to kill Punk’ was the exact text message…Hunter and Stephanie have such an abject hatred for CM Punk.”
It was noted that Ryback isn’t happy, which is the least surprising news to come out of this considering his Twitter reaction over the weekend where he called Punk “fragile and insecure.”
WWE management is also very displeased with Cabana and he is obviously not likely to ever receive a call back from the company. It was also noted that if Steve Austin asks Vince McMahon about the interview during the live edition of his podcast on Monday, that McMahon will not discuss it in depth; he’ll give a very corporate-style response and quickly move on.
In addition, it was noted that Punk will do a “Part Two” podcast in the near future where Punk answers questions from fans.
Opinionated View- Well of course Triple H is mad. I'm sure Punk broke all the unwritten rules Triple H wants everyone to follow mainly don't bash Triple H.

11/28 WWE Smackdown Report

Miz TV opens the show and Big Show is welcomed to the ring, and Show complains about people not knowing his situation when Daniel Bryan cuts him off. Bryan says he heard Show call out people with something to say, so he has something to tell him and he has a big night planned. He announces Ryback versus Seth Rollins and Luke Harper versus Dolph Ziggler, but Miz mocks him and says he’s trying to steal the spotlight. Bryan says he can’t because Mizdow already does that, and he goes announce something else but Show says he doesn’t care. He says this isn’t about Bryan tonight, but Bryan says this actually is about him, and Rusev is defending his championship in a battle royal since he didn’t say the pledge of allegiance on RAW. Bryan says it’s kicking off right now, and Miz, Mizdow, Big Show and… Erick Rowan are starting things off right now.

Battle Royal for the United States Championship
Everyone picks a corner and starts to attack, then Big Show eliminates Fernando and Diego before he punches Goldust in the stomach. Rowan and Show face off and trade punches, then Rowan splashes him in the corner twice before sending him outside with a clothesline. Rusev ends up catching Rowan offguard and throws him out, then everyone gangs up on Rusev and tries to flip him over the ropes. Rusev frees himself as we go to a break, then we get back to see Miz and Stardust fighting near the apron. Miz turns and tries to throw Goldust out but it gets reversed, and Stardust holds the ropes and Miz gets dumped on the floor. Mizdow sees this and throws himself outside, then Swagger clotheslines Goldust and Stardust outside before Titus eliminates Jimmy.
Titus tries to kick Jey but he ducks and sends Titus outside, then Jey kicks Kidd a few times but Kidd catches him and takes him out with a headscissors. We’re down to Swagger, Kidd, Cesaro and Rusev, so everyone attacks Swagger before they try to press slam him outside. Swagger grabs the ropes and throws some punches, then he slams Cesaro into the turnbuckles and powerslams Rusev. Swagger hits a Swagger Bomb on Rusev before Cesaro tries to send him outside, but Swagger sends him to the apron with a gutwrench slam. Kidd dives at him but Swagger catches him and throws him outside, then Cesaro sidesteps Rusev and shoves him into Swagger on the apron. Cesaro dumps Rusev outside but Rusev holds on and only has one foot hit the floor, then he runs back in and sends Cesaro outside before knocking Swagger off the apron.
Winner – Rusev

Bray  Wyatt comes to the ring and says he told Dean Ambrose they didn’t belong here, and they took each other to a new point on Sunday. He says he commands the demons, but they can’t turn back now, and tables, ladders and chairs is in their future now. Bray says he will teach Ambrose a lesson, and he will smile because he puts him back in the dirt where he belongs.

Nikki Bella (w/ Brie Bella) vs Emma
Emma slams Nikki in the corner and applies the Dil-Emma, then Nikki kicks her in the face and follows with a springbaord kick and Rack Attack for the win.
Winner – Nikki Bella
Nikki says it’s time they know the truth about AJ Lee, and they heard her sob story, but Nikki has worked harder than her and she deserves this championship. Nikki says no matter what AJ does, she’ll always be a pathetic little whiner from New Jersey, then AJ runs out and goes after her, but Nikki gets away.

Ryback vs Seth Rollins
Both men reverse each other’s offensive attempts before Ryback catches Rollins and slams him, then Rollins regroups on the floor with Mercury and Noble. Rollins gets in Ryback’s face and hits him, but Ryback tosses him across the ring and slams him into the corner. He charges the corner but Rollins slams him shoulder first into the ringpost, then he slams his head into the apron before he rolls him in and gets a near fall. Rollins slams him into the steps as we go to a break, then we get back to see Rollins counter a powerbomb with an enziguiri for two. Ryback gets Rollins in the corner but Mercury jumps on the apron, and Rollins uses the distraction to hit a corner powerbomb for two.
Ryback comes back with a press slam before Mercury and Noble try to interfere again, but Ryback backdrops Rollins onto them before slamming him back in the ring. Ryback connects with a Meathook and sets up Shell Shocked, but Kane runs out and takes a swing at Ryback with a chair. Ryback ducks and slams him on the mat, but the ref rings the bell, and Ryback winds up with the chair but Rollins grabs it and Kane kicks him in the face. Rollins hands the chair to Kane, then Kane beats him with it and ends it with a chokeslam on the chair.
Winner (by disqualification) – Ryback

Curtis Axel & Slater Gator vs The New Day
Axel applies a wristlock but Woods reverses and dropkicks him, then Kofi tags in and stomps Axel’s arm before hitting a snapmare. Woods tags back in and connects with another kick, then Big E hits a running splash before he splashes Woods onto Axel on the mat. Axel knocks him down and Titus hits a scoop slam off the tag, but Woods comes back with a enziguiri before Kofi connects with a springboard kick. Kofi hits Slater a few times and reverses a whip with a springboard splash, then he avoids attacks by Titus and Slater before E holds Slater on his shoulder and Kofi slams him down for the win.
Winners – The New Day

Intercontinental ChampionshipDolph Ziggler vs Luke Harper (c)
Dolph hits a quick crossbody before Harper slams Dolph in the corner, then he hits him a few times before Dolph comes back with a neckbreaker. Dolph connects with some elbow drops and a DDT for two, then Harper hits a side slam and calls for a powerbomb. He lifts Dolph and Dolph counters with a Famouser, then he heads up top but Harper clotheslines him and follows with a big boot. Harper hits a powerbomb for two, then he throws Dolph outside and sends him into the commentary table. He whips Dolph at the ring apron but Dolph stops himself and superkicks Harper, then Dolph rolls in and beats the count.
Winner (by countout) – Dolph Ziggler

Harper swings at Dolph with his title belt, but Dolph ducks and hits a Zig Zag to end the show.

Backstage Reaction to CM Punk's Podcast

The backstage reactions to CM Punk’s podcast with Colt Cabana have been mixed. Those who didn’t like Punk tended to criticize him while those who were close to him supported him. Those in the middle were positive about the main issues Punk brought up, like the booking, communication in the company, and the unsettled matter of how PPV bonuses will be paid now that the WWE Network is in the picture

Opinionated View- Well so far both the Rock and Ryback have fired back publicly. I'll get more into this later with my video but I think Punk confirmed a lot of stuff we have been hearing and he brought up valid points.

WWE Issues Statement Following CM Punk Blasting Company Doctors

WWE issued a statement Thursday night to Yahoo! Sports in response to an article highlighting CM Punk’s criticism of the sports-entertainment organization’s medical tactics in a podcast interview.
“WWE takes the health and wellness of its talent very seriously and has a comprehensive Talent Wellness Program that is led by one of the most well-respected physicians in the country, Dr. Joseph Maroon,” the statement reads.
Nearly ten months after his final appearance for WWE, Punk finally addressed the circumstances behind his departure from the sports-entertainment organization in an explosive two-hour interview with Colt Cabana on the “Art of Wrestling” podcast.
During the interview, Punk said the main reason he left the company was because of his health. He was particularly critical of Chris Amann, WWE’s Senior Ringside Physician, who misdiagnosed an MRSA infection he had on his back for months as a “fatty deposit.” A doctor with no affiliation to WWE who saw Punk said he could have died from it.
Prior to this, Punk said he was pressured on more than one occasion by WWE officials to return to action while injured.
“I got a concussion in the Royal Rumble,” Punk said, referring to the 2014 match. “It’s pretty god d*** obvious. I knew I had a concussion. Everyone knew I had a concussion. And they were like we want you to take this test and I said your test is bull***. I took the test while texting you [Colt Cabana] and listening to my headphones and I “passed” with flying colors. But then they were like we want you to go to the ring and run the ropes. And I was like but I just passed your test and they were like yeah, but we still think you have a concussion. I was like so your test is worthless. I’m not going out in the f****** ring like a two-week rookie to run the ropes in front of everybody. Let’s just call it [a concussion] now.”
Punk was also pressured to wrestle just as he was was to begin rehab from elbow surgery. He recalled, “I remember when I was supposed to go back to Birmingham and get cleared before I came back to wrestle from my elbow. One day I was just at TV and it was the same thing … I’ll probably just cut a promo and then Michael Hayes comes up to me and goes, “Alright, you’re working so and so,” and I was like no I’m not. I just got this laser eye surgery and I don’t want anyone f****** up my eyes. And he’s like you really should have told somebody, and I was like told them what … my elbow! And he goes no, I just checked and they said you’re cleared. I was like I haven’t even gone to Birmingham to see Dr. [James] Andrews yet, what do you mean I’m cleared? I talked to Dr. [Chris] Amann and Dr. Amann was like I called him [Dr. Andrews] and I told him how you were and he said OK and he cleared you. I was like what kind of witch doctory bull**** is that? Like I’m going to go see him before I f****** wrestle. Book that s***, I’m not wrestling tonight.”
Punk noted that he would forward to undergoing surgery just so he could get some time off from WWE’s strenuous road schedule.

WWE Planning to Improve Smackdown Storylines

The Wrestling Observer reports that WWE is aiming to “even the playing field” between Raw and Smackdown next year. Since Smackdown has moved back to Thursday, WWE feels like the Smackdown stories have to be more important so that it is a “can’t miss” show. The company wants to improve the storylines on Smackdown to make it more of an A show instead of a B show to Raw’s A show.

One example of where the company has done this recently was making the announcement on SmackDown that Team Cena’s members would being fired if their team lost at Survivor Series.

Opinionated View- We have heard this before. Hell there have even been times where I have viewed Smackdown as the better show. But sooner later it goes back to Raw is A and Smackdown is B. Also just because WWE is focusing on it doesn't it will be a good show look at Raw.

https://www.facebook.com/RealWrestlingNewsAndOpinionatedViews?fref=nf
Happy Thanksgiving everyone
Couple of site things. I've started work on my year end awards and I'm wonder if I should negative awards like Worst ______?
Also coming tomorrow I will do a you tube video talking about the Punk interview and if AJ Styles should give up the Styles Clash

TNA Changing Annouce Team Up?

As noted, TNA is planning another reboot for Impact Wrestling with a new look and more, when they premiere on Destination America in January.

Current plans for former WWE announcer Josh Mathews to replace Mike Tenay as the lead announcer. Mathews will be working with Taz. It's expected that Tenay will keep an on-air role.

Opinionated View- I'm torn. I get wanting to update the sound and look of the show. I do think Mathews is a good announcer but I don't think he's as good as Tenay.

C.M. Punk discusses his WWE departure (Part Two)

Punk recalled having surgery on a Wednesday morning and walking out of the hospital when he received a phone call from Vince McMahon. He said he was having flashbacks to the elbow surgery and the way that was handled. Vince said they just announced on the website that Punk would be facing Ryback on the first Raw of the year two and a half weeks later while acknowledging that the prognosis for Punk's recovery time was actually four to six weeks. Punk said he told Vince the next day that he needed time off after he dropped the title. Vince told him he needs him for a rematch against Rock, but Punk told him no way
.
-Punk ended up doing the rematch and told Vince that he was checking out for a while after WrestleMania. Vince disagreed and said he'd be the hottest heel. Punk questioned how that would be when he was losing to Undertaker, who was leaving after WrestleMania, just as Rock was. Punk said he worked the match with a chip on his shoulder because he knew the match would be better than Rock vs. Cena.

-Punk took off two months after undergoing knee surgery. "I discovered life and I started looking at my bank account and going, 'This is f---in' ridiculous" and realizing he didn't need to do it anymore. He said could go work at Starbucks and at least they would give him health insurance.
-Vince called him and told him he wanted him back for a pay-per-view in Chicago "in June or July" for a match against Chris Jericho. Punk said he wanted to come back at SummerSlam. Vince informed him that he would be facing Brock Lesnar at SummerSlam. Punk said he gets along great with Lesnar, but he wasn't happy about losing to part-time wrestlers because of what it said about him and the current wrestlers.

-After Punk worked Lesnar, Vince told him he didn't know what to do with him. He asked if he would work against Ryback again. Punk told him no. "Do you not see a problem going from Brock to Ryback?" Punk asked Vince. He said he would make it work even though he wanted to work with Curtis Axel. He said Triple H told Axel he was going to get him over and obviously did not.

-Punk said he suffered a tilted pelvis when Ryback went to gorilla press him through a table and somehow missed the table. Punk confronted him backstage and questioned whether he did it on purpose. "You either tell me right now you're dumb as f--- and you suck or you did it on purpose," Punk recalled saying. Ryback told him he was dumb as f--- and was sorry. Punk said he also suffered bruised ribs when he took a bad bump while being speared by Roman Reigns
.
-Punk suffered another concussion when he was hit "by something" during a match with Luke Harper. He said they were scheduled to go on a European tour. He claims the doctor asked him if he had a concussion or if he could go to Europe. He labeled the doctor a a pig.

-Punk was given antibiotics that caused him to shit himself during a match. He tweeted about it. Vince and Seth Rollins both found it funny, but the office called and asked him to remove the word shit. Punk complied and then blocked WWE on Twitter.

-Punk said he was having a couple of MRIs per week at this point. He said he was hurting and the owner of the company told him "I'll owe you one" three times, and yet his pay was going down.
-Punk wasn't happy for his WrestleMania pay when he worked Undertaker. He said he didn't feel he should be paid less than Rock, John Cena, or Undertaker. Punk said WrestleMania sells WrestleMania, and therefore he doesn't think Rock should have been paid more than him.

-Punk recalled having a hematoma that he wanted the doctor to cut out. The doctor declined to cut it out, and Punk believes it's because he is lazy. Punk said it swelled up to the size of a baseball and he feared that if he bumped on it it would burst. The doctor said he wanted to put him on antibiotics because he had to work in the Royal Rumble. Punk told him he had been on the antibiotics that the same doctor administered since November.

-Punk said he loved wrestling Kane and no one has a bad thing to say about him, but he wanted to do something new.

-Rusev was intimidated by Punk. He told him to look around the Gorilla position and told him none of those people cared about him, and he needed to create his moment. Punk suffered another concussion while working with Kofi Kingston in the Royal Rumble. Punk rolled to ringside and told the doctor that he was concussed. The doctor asked him what he wanted to do. They sent Kane out to get him out of the match early, but Punk said the wrestler in him refused to leave the match early. He walked backstage after the match and told the doctor to cut "this thing out of me." The doctor still wouldn't do it.

-Punk said he had a moment of clarity while driving that night. He said he went to television and they wanted him to take a concussion test. They also wanted him to take a urine test and he flew off the handle. He vented about the company amending the drug test to take strikes off.

-Punk went into Vince's office and said he needed to talk to him. Hunter said he would leave, but Punk told him to stay. Punk said he doesn't love it anymore, and he doesn't understand where the business is going. He said it's not fun and he has no passion for it. He said he was concussed and hurt, and the only thing Vince cared about was what segment he was in and when he could get his gear on and making him take the piss test.

-Punk spoke openly to Vince in the meeting about the idea of bringing back Batista as a babface. He said he and Batista have since spoke since then and they get along great and "Dave was cool with all of" what he had to say. During the meeting with Vince, Triple H told him that Batista took the same urine test he did. "Did you?" Punk asked Triple H. He said Hunter did not reply.

-Punk recalled telling Vince the various things he did for him and all he wanted was the main event of WrestleMania. He said it's fine if Vince doesn't think he's that caliber of a superstar, but he should fire him if that's the case. He said Vince shackled him, creatively stifled him, and made it a toxic environment. Punk also told Vince that he couldn't believe Daniel Bryan was in their main event plans, just as three years ago he was white hot only to be fed to Hunter.

-Vince told Punk that it must be the concussion talking. He said Punk was in a main event because he was facing Triple H. Punk turned to Triple H and told him he didn't need to wrestle Triple H, Triple H needed to wrestle him. Punk told him he resented him for not putting him over three years earlier when he should have. "That would have been best for business and you had to come in and f---ing squash it," Punk recalled saying. Punk recalled saying he had to lose to R-Truth and Miz and it didn't make any business sense then or now. "I'm in a position now where I can tell you that I don't have to and nor do I want to wrestle you at WrestleMania," Punk told him. Punk said he didn't care that he was supposed to win. "I didn't want to give him the f---ing privilege," he said.

-Punk said Triple H never liked him. He said there were never any positive vibes when they were in the same room together.

-Punk said he is stoked that Daniel Bryan got his WrestleMania main event "because they can never take it away from him." He also recalled Hunter telling him that he worked a WrestleMania main event when he worked against Undertaker. Punk told Hunter to tell him he was paid the same as him, Taker, Cena, etc.

-At the end of the meeting, Punk said Vince McMahon had tears in his eyes and he went in for a hug. Punk said he gave Vince a pat on the back hug. Hunter stuck his hand out, Punk shook it, and said "goodbye."

-Punk said he could have walked whenever he wanted to because he's an independent contractor. "I could have walked whenever I wanted to," Punk said. He added that he didn't quit in the middle of a program or hold up the company.

-Punk said Vince texted him a week after he left and asked if he was ready to return to work. Punk texted him no.

-Punk said his wife (AJ Lee) convinced him to go to her doctor in Tampa. He showed him the issue on his waistline that the WWE doctor declined to remove. The doctor told him it was a full blown staph infection. The doctor cut it out and "shit shot onto the ceiling." Punk recalled the painful injuries he suffered during his career, but having it removed was the most painful thing he's ever gone through in his life. The doctor told that by waiting three months, he could have actually died.

-Vince eventually texted him to say he's suspended for two months. Punk said the suspension ended the day after WrestleMania, but at this point he didn't care. The two months passed and he didn't here from anyone. He recalled Vince stating in a quarterly conference call that he was on "sabbatical." Punk said he stopped receiving his royalty checks from WWE. However, he found a check that he never cashed. Punk called to have it reissued. The money didn't come, yet Punk was okay with it because they were leaving him alone and he was leaving them alone by not badmouthing them publicly.

-Punk said he started getting "butt calls" from WWE talent relations, including one from Jane Geddes. He called back and left a message once about the two checks. A week later, Jane Geddes called him back and said she would look into the checks.

-Around June 11, Triple H texted to ask if he had time to talk. Punk told him he's always been a phone call away, but he was getting married in two days. He said he would call Hunter the day he got back from his honeymoon. Punk texted that they could reissue the royalty check in the meantime. Triple H didn't respond.

-The day of his wedding, Punk received his termination papers. "Very calculated, very deliberate," he said. Punk chuckled at it, yet felt they pushed the wrong guy too far. Punk said the letter was ridiculous. It said he forfeited his royalty rights and had been in breach of contract since January 27. Punk said he's not a lawyer, but he knows they had to notify him of being in breach back at that time. There is a noncompete clause in the release papers that mentions UFC. He said Alberto Del Rio has the same clause. He laughs because WWE claims UFC isn't competition.

-Punk called a "vicious lawyer" and shared the story. "We lawyered up and we got those motherf---ers." Punk said he can't talk about the terms of the settlement, but he can say that he got everything he wanted and then some. He said it was stupid of 2K Sports to advertise him for the video game. He recalled they tweeted him "Do we have your attention now?" Punk added, "Well, 2K Sports, do I have your f---ing attention now? Thanks for the big, fat check."

-Punk said WWE wanted to issue a joint statement and he declined. Punk said they wanted to include a clause that prevented him from disparaging them. Punk recalled WWE referring to him as a quitter in his hometown. WWE lawyers also accused him of wanting to go to TNA and the platform would be burying WWE. "They're bullies," Punk said. "Even though they're losing, they want to feel like they won something."

-Punk said he did give WWE the right to sell the merchandise they had already made. He stressed there is no working arrangement and there never will be.

-Punk said WWE was terrified that he would go to court and ruin the way they do business. He said he would like to see the talent have a union and spoke about the restrictions the talent has despite being labeled independent contractors.

-Punk spoke about going forward outside pro wrestling and having the freedom to do whatever he wants to do. He said some people will say he failed at wrestling because he didn't main event WrestleMania. He said he has come to terms with not main eventing WrestleMania. He said Vince McMahon and Kevin Dunn said his match with Undertaker should have gone on last. "Yeah, I know," Punk said.

-Punk said he's not setting out to be a "f--- WWE" guy and he has friends who still work there.
-Punk brought up Chris Jericho stating in a podcast that he doesn't talk to his friends in wrestling anymore. Punk said he doesn't talk to people who have agendas who are trying to ask him what happened so they can report it on their podcasts or blog about it.

-They closed by talking about doing a "cool down" episode next week where they will take fan questions.

When Will Charlotte Be Called Up From NXT?

Charlotte is reportedly set to debut on the main WWE roster by the end of the year. According to the Wrestling Observer Newsletter, most in the company are under the assumption that she will appear on the main roster soon after the NXT Takeover special on December 11th.

Most people viewed her appearance at the WrestleMania 31 Ticket Kickoff Party to be an indicator that she’s making it to the main roster soon.

Opinionated View- I really don't see what's the big deal. Yeah she's better than girls like Bellas or Alicia Fox but she's not that good. I  think a lot of people over hype her because of who her father is.

Impact Wrestling May Air Live On Destination America

TNA is reportedly planning to have the first episode of Impact Wrestling on Destination America as a live broadcast or one a 1-2 hour tape delay. It depends on if the network agrees to have Impact air at 9 PM ET, which is when it airs on Spike TV. However, TNA is expecting this to happen. TNA will tape shows at the Manhattan Center in New York City on January 7-9, which will be the first episodes to air on the network.

TNA was originally looking at several locations for a taping on December 15, but couldn’t get the dates set until the TV deal happened, so it was a matter of timing.
Opinionated View- I'd actually like the show to air at 7 central time so I could watch the whole show before I have to go to work. But that's just me.

Recap of CM Punk on Cabana's Podcast

He left after the Royal Rumble mainly because of his health. He talked about working with broken ribs, a concussion and bad knees during his last months with the company. Punk was so sick during last November's European tour that he was throwing up and dry heaving every night after his matches. He had a fever for months and no appetite. WWE doctors gave him so many antibiotics that he had an accident in the ring on SmackDown, all while watching his paychecks shrink. He said it was the worst he's ever felt in his life.

He suffered a concussion early during the Royal Rumble match but still worked. He passed a concussion test the next day and called the testing "bullshit." WWE informed he passed but wanted him to run the ring ropes and evaluate him. Punk then demanded that they just decide he has a concussion and admitted that he had been trying to deny he was hurt and just tough it out.

Punk says that same day he was being pressured about taking a drug test and signing visas for future tours instead of listening to his requests for help because something was obviously wrong. Punk then told Vince McMahon and Triple H that he was going home. Punk says he told off Triple H about cutting off his momentum in 2011 and complained to Vince for stifling Punk's creativity. He says he told them both it was garbage how Daniel Bryan wasn't being considered for the WrestleMania XXX main event. Punk says he told them he didn't want to do this anymore and was done. Vince was in tears when he hugged Punk goodbye and told him he was family.

However, Punk was actually fired from WWE. After he left in January, he was told a few weeks later by Vince McMahon through text message that he was being suspended for two months. This was the day before Vince told WWE shareholders that Punk had taken a sabbatical. Punk heard from no one in WWE once the suspension was over and received termination papers for breach of contract on his wedding day in June.

Punk says he hired a very vicious lawyer to go after WWE and fight their claim of breach of contract. In the end, he got a settlement that gave him everything he asked for and more. Punk's not allowed to talk about the settlement. He said they are done and will never have a working relationship again. Punk says WWE wanted to issue a joint statement with him but he told them to "fuck off." WWE was worried he would go to TNA but Punk's lawyer told WWE that he despises wrestling now and will never wrestle again.

He said wrestling Ryback took "20 years off his life" and described Ryback as "steroid guy."

CM Punk Breaks Silence on WWE Walkout

Former WWE star CM Punk is the guest on the newest edition of Colt Cabana's "Art of Wrestling" podcast, where Punk, for the first time since walking out of WWE on the day after the Royal Rumble PPV in January, will talk about his exit from the company. Cabana mentions in the opening of the podcast that Punk wanted to tell his story to fans for free instead of taking a big payday to tell the story via a shoot interview.

2014 Survivor Series Review

UK wrestler Lionheart writes open letter to AJ Styles

UK wrestler Lionheart recently posted the following open letter on Facebook to former TNA star and current New Japan & ROH performer AJ Styles, asking him to stop using his "Styles Clash" finishing move after Yoshitatsu announced yesterday on Twitter that he suffered a broken neck taking a bad landing on Styles' Styles Clash at the 11/8 New Japan "Power Struggle" iPPV. Lionheart also suffered a broken neck taking a bad landing off the Styles Clash in a match with Styles earlier this year in the UK. Lionheart's letter is as follows:
I'll make the assumption he sees this somehow so please read and share... I'd like to openly address him...
Firstly, I hope things are well for you and family... I wanted to write you because I feel it's important someone speak up in a more formal and diplomatic manner, as opposed to simply throwing abuse via anonymous social media ramblings...
Here's the truth... The move is not directly dangerous... It's a simple move in principle... Arms and legs locked, you fall forward, guy looks up/back, easy... The Styles Clash 'on paper' is a fairly safe and basic process...
That said, what is dangerous, is the instinctual reaction of your opponent... The wrestler taking the move, who like any wrestler taking any move, their safety and welfare is the priority...
Without ANY injuries, it could be argued that the mechanics of the move are unnatural, and injury could easily happen due to the physical restrictions and instinctual habits of the recipient... The numbers now are surely too great to even call it an argument?
I'm more than happy to be educated on my statistics, but there can be no move in wrestling history that carries more (documented) serious and potentially career threatening injuries than this... This, is what makes the move dangerous, whether indirectly or not...
Thus far, more specifically the last 12 months, several performers, actual experienced athletes, have been injured with this, 2 of them now with broken necks... The question I want to put to you honestly is, what does it take? What will it actually take for you to stop using this move, at the very least on an independent level, with people not necessarily exposed to the experience of working with you and taking the move semi regularly... How honestly will you feel the day you receive the news that the man you just wrestled has a broken neck and will never walk again? Statistically, that day is coming... It is a mathematical certainty...
I take this opportunity now, to openly and publicly beg you... Please, stop using the Styles Clash... You are unquestionably one of the greatest in ring performers of our time, I truly believe that... But the time is now, to put all pride, ego, blame aside, and acknowledge that irrelevant of fault, circumstance or anything else, the move is a direct risk and a danger to the safety and well being of your fellow wrestler...
All the best.
A
Styles has yet to respond to the open letter as of this writing.

11/25 WWE Main Event Results

-The Miz and Damien Mizdow come out and Miz talks about everyone telling him he would never make it in life. He puts over his “partner” but is talking about his “money maker”, not Mizdow.

THE MIZ & DAMIEN MIZDOW vs. LOS MATADORES
Miz starts the match while Mizdow does some cheer-leading from the apron. He works over Diego for a few minutes with rest holds unit Fernando makes the hot tag and runs through him with chops, kicks and a headscissors takedown. He hits a top rope senton but Mizdow saves the match at two. Finally Mizdow tags out to his stunt double and hits the Skull Crushing Finale, but Miz made a blind tag and stole the pin.
Winners: THE MIZ & DAMIEN MIZDOW

FANDANGO vs. ADAM ROSE
The Bunny ends up dancing over to Rosa Mendes and distracting everyone. Fandango takes advantage and beats him down, then hits him with the top rope leg drop for the 1-2-3.
Winner: FANDANGO

-Backstage, Natalya and Tyson Kidd talk about having Thanksgiving with their cats. Layla and Summer Rae walk up and make fun of Natalya, who gets mad that Tyson doesn’t support her. They throw a pie in her face and walk off as Tyson holds his wife back.
-They replay last night’s Raw segments, including all the major matches, Daniel Bryan returning to run the show, the Authority’s farewell speech and the Anonymous GM reveal

LAYLA vs. NATALYA
Tyson Kidd and Summer Rae are ringside. Layla locks in a leg lock head-scissors and Summer slaps Nattie across the face while the referee is distracted. Layla basically controls the entire match until missing a splash and being caught int he Sharpshooter.
Winner: NATALYA

-The roll footage of Ryback mocking Kane on Raw last night, and their backstage brawl. Kane comes out and gets pissed off at the footage. He’s still wearing dress pants, for some reason.

DEAN AMBROSE vs. KANE
Ambrose catches him with an early DDT for a two-count. After a commercial break, Kane has him in a headlock. Michael Cole is ON POINT with his trivia tonight, talking about Kane’s debut, career, and Mike Tyson. Dean builds some momentum but runs into a big boot and they go right back to the headlock. After a few more minutes of nothing, Ambrose breaks free and does the suicide dive through the ropes spot. He comes off the top rope into a big right hook from Kane. Dean rebounds off the ropes with a clothesline, and counters a chokeslam with a roll-up for a count of three.
Winner: DEAN AMBROSE

-Main Event ends with a Dean Ambrose celebration, and Kane not being terrible happy with the last 48 hours. They leave about 13 minutes on the clock.

Changes To RAW Script

There were many last-minute decisions made to the script for RAW last night. At one point on the RAW pre-show, it was revealed that John Cena would name the new RAW GM during the broadcast. However, WWE changed their minds at the last minute and announced the Board of Directors would make the announcement. At the end of the episode, the Anonymous RAW GM made his (or her) return.

Cyber Monday Takes Place Next Week on Raw

As announced at the end of last night's 11/24 WWE RAW by the returning anonymous RAW general manager, "Cyber Monday" will take place on next week's 12/1 RAW from Tulsa, Oklahoma, bringing back the old "Cyber Sunday" or "Taboo Tuesday" concept that WWE used for PPVs in the mid-2000s where fans voted on matches and match stipulations. This is seen as a way to push fans to utilize the WWE app more going forward.

Opinionated View- Next week's Raw sounds pretty awful.

Match Set For WWE Main Event

As announced on last night's 11/24 WWE RAW, Dean Ambrose will face Kane on tonight's 11/25 WWE Main Event on the WWE Network from Fort Wayne, Indiana, where the 11/28 Smackdown will be taped as well.

Press Release on New Japan's AXS TV Show

AXS TV issued the following press release on Monday (11/24):

LOS ANGELES – Nov. 24, 2014 – Building on the success of the AXS TV FIGHTS Friday night franchise, AXS TV has acquired a 13 episode series from Japan's largest professional wrestling promotion, NEW JAPAN PRO WRESTLING (NJPW). Premiering Jan. 16, 2015, NJPW will air on Friday nights at 9 p.m. ET/6 p.m. PT leading into the network's weekly live MMA, Muay Thai, and kickboxing broadcasts.Airing for the first time ever in the U.S., the hour-long weekly series features the most exciting matches from NJPW's Japanese broadcasts and pay-per-view events.

Former UFC Heavyweight champion and NJPW veteran Josh Barnett and famed combat sports commentator Mauro Ranallo are providing English language commentary for the series.
Founded in 1972, NJPW has established itself as the premier wrestling organization in Japan and the second largest and fastest growing wrestling promotion in the world. In recent years, NJPW has gained international recognition, winning the Wrestling Observer Newsletter "Promotion of the Year" award two years running and boasting three-year reigning "Wrestler of the Year" Hiroshi Tanahashi. The series premiere features Tanahashi defending the promotion's prestigious IWGP Heavyweight Title against his long-time rival Kazuchika Okada in front of 29,000 fans at the Tokyo Dome.

"With this acquisition, AXS TV FIGHTS now offers one of the most diverse combat sports and sports entertainment programming line-ups on television," said AXS TV FIGHTS CEO Andrew Simon. "There is a strong relationship and influence between professional wrestling and MMA, and with the addition of Josh Barnett and Mauro Ranallo as our commentators, we're confident this new venture will be a crossover hit with wrestling and MMA fans alike."AXS TV's NJPW episodes were produced by and purchased from TV ASAHI CORPORATION.

Opinionated View- First it sounds like they are giving away the main event to the PPV just days later. I don't the announce team Barnett has wrestled before but I don't think he's ever done commentary. Can't say I've ever been a fan of Ranallo and while he has plenty of MMA, Kickboxing, and Boxing experience I don't think he's ever called wrestling ever. But they can't do any worse than I'm sure Ross will on that PPV.

11/24 WWE Raw Report

The Authority comes out and Stephanie McMahon says it’s Sting’s fault they aren’t in charge here, but they are still winners because they have corporate responsibilities. She talks about having Thanksgiving with family and cries, then Triple H asks if they are enjoying this and he calls them bullies. HHH says Sting added to the demise of WWE, then he talks about how the company will fall apart and no one can run the company but them. He runs the crowd down about not having wrestling on Mondays anymore, and they are going to leave, but the fans will beg them to come back.
Daniel Bryan comes out and mocks them with a YES chant, then HHH and Stephanie try to leave but Bryan follows them up the ramp and chants in their faces. Bryan says that it felt great to kick them out of the ring, but now he’s getting to Team Authority because he’s been put in charge tonight. He brings Team Authority out to the stage and says he is a fair man, and Seth Rollins should be used to fighting in handicap matches. Bryan says tonight won’t be any different, so Rollins will have two teammates against John Cena and Dolph Ziggler. Rollins cuts him off and says he wants to know what’s going on, but Bryan says he’s not picking his partners, the fans will on the WWE App. Bryan lists the choices and says it could be Henry and Kane, Henry and Harper, or Mercury and Noble!
Bryan calls for the voting now, but Rollins backtracks and tries to get out of it and Bryan tells him to just accept it and get out of the way. Bryan next brings up Kane and says he’s gotten off track and Kane shouldn’t be Director of Operations anymore, and instead names him in charge of concessions and makes him sell popcorn and hotdogs. Bryan moves on to Rusev and says he should be more patriotic, so he has two options: he can compete in a company wide battle royal for the United States championship, or he can come in the ring and recite the Pledge of Allegiance! Rusev and Lana storm off so Bryan brings up Harper’s Intercontinental Championship win last week, and says he won’t get help from the Authority, and he will defend tonight against Dean Ambrose. Henry tries to walk away but Bryan says he has a match too, and he will face Ryback, and it’s happening right now.

Ryback vs Mark Henry
Ryback runs down the ramp and hits Henry, then he whips him into the ringpost and some referees separate them as we go to a break. We get back from a break to see the bell ring, and Ryback punches Henry in the corner before Henry shoves him back and knocks him down. Ryback comes back with a spinebuster and connects with a Meathook for the win.
Winner – Ryback
Triple H and Stephanie are shown walking to their car and Vince McMahon is shown leaning next to it, and Stephanie says she is sorry to him. Vince says he put them against the odds because he thought they would overcome it, but now it’s over and somehow he will fix things. Stephanie apologizes again but Vince says the hell with it, and he says he’s never been sorry in his life before they get in the car and leave.
Intercontinental Championship
Dean Ambrose vs Luke Harper (c)

Harper hits Ambrose a few times and slams him into the turnbuckles, then Ambrose takes him down and applies a hammerlock. Harper hits him in the face but Ambrose comes back with an elbow, then he knocks Harper on the floor and tackles him as we go to a break. We get back to see Ambrose fight out of a side headlock, then Harper hits him a few times before sweeping his legs and sending him outside. Harper whips him into the barricade before Ambrose drops him with a clothesline, then he rolls Harper in and jabs him several times before hitting a standing legdrop. He says the truth is he’s human and he made a mistake, and they should understand he hasn’t changed because he despises The Authority. Show talks about how they harassed and blackmailed him last year, then he talks about how a medical condition (Acromegaly) makes him this big and strong, but he still has a heart. Show says he thought his team was going to lose and he wanted to do the right thing, and he hopes they can forgive him. He says he would do things differently if he had known what was going to happen, and he says he’s put his body on the line for over twenty years, so they kind of owe him one here.

Show says he hears the whispers in the locker room, so if anyone wants to call him a traitor they can come do it to his face. Erick Rowan ends up coming to the ring and Show mocks him for being out here without his stuffed animal, and says he expected John Cena, not him. Show tries to tell him to leave before he gets hurt, but Rowan takes the mic and says he doesn’t like bullies, and proceeds to hit him with some punches and a leg lariat. Who Will Randy Orton Feud With When He Returns?

- At this time, the plan is for Randy Orton to continue his feud with Seth Rollins when he does return to TV. Orton was backstage at last night’s Survivor Series PPV, but with the debut of Sting planned, they held Orton off the show as they felt Sting was a big enough surprise on his own.

Opinionated View- Rollins better go over. He needs the momentum not freaking Orton.

More Details on Sting’s WWE Debut: Status For RAW, Who He May Wrestle, WrestleMania Plan

According to Pwinsider.com, the decision to bring in Sting wasn’t made until Thursday. As previously reported, WWE wanted to deliver on a surprise and also wanted to push the “anything can happen” on the WWE Network idea.
Sting is not expected to be at Raw or Smackdown this week. The plan was for him to make the PPV appearance and then head back home to California. He may have pre-taped a segment for tonight, but nothing is confirmed.
In regards to who he may wrestle, the obvious pick seems to be Triple H due to their interaction last night. Pwinsider.com notes that the plan as of Friday was that Sting will wrestle Undertaker at WrestleMania 31. They mention that he could also wrestle Triple H at the Royal Rumble as a sort of introduction to fans not familiar with him.

Opinionated View- Oh god no. I don't want to see the disaster that a 2014 Triple H and Sting match would be. Let not even get started thinking Taker who can't walk having another mania match. Nice he can' even be bothered to appear on Raw the next night.

News On Why WWE Had Sting Debut Last Night At Survivor Series

WWE’s plan for Survivor Series last night was to push the WWE Network and show that anything can happen in WWE and anyone can show up on the Network. This is why Sting finally appeared on screen and why WWE announced both Dean Ambrose vs. Bray Wyatt at TLC and the Austin/Vince interview next week.
It’s believed that Sting also showed up to help promote WWE 2K15, which was released not long before the PPV happened. Finally, it’s possible that WWE added Sting’s name into the script earlier in the show (it was previously reported as happening right before or right after the Divas elimination match) in order to keep his main event appearance a secret.

New Japan Pro Wrestling coming to American television

AXS TV released a "coming soon" video that touts New Japan Pro Wrestling as a "new series." You can view the video at Youtube.com/watch?v=J_wn56gtg3g.

Opinionated View- AXS is the former HD Net and where ROH had its first TV show. Outside of the video there is no other real info. If they could get it on before the Jan 4th show. From what I can tell it's not Global Force its just New Japan

First Match Annouced For WWE TLC

As announced on last night's 11/23 WWE Survivor Series PPV, Dean Ambrose will face Bray Wyatt in a TLC Match at the WWE TLC PPV on December 14 in Cleveland, Ohio.

Opinionated View- The match at Survivor Series was pretty good. So hopefully this one will work out.

You know what I say let #WWE have Sting because all Sting has is a past. A legendary past yes but the past is the past. Same with Hogan or Jericho. Right now #TNA has the present with guys like Roode and Lashley who are in there prime and they are building for the future with guys like Bram and EC3.
Sooner or later that past won't be appearing on #Raw or #Smackdown and WWE will be SOL. Meanwhile people that aren't sheep will be enjoying #DestinationIMPACT
